Buried in the extremely large feature release last month, were a number of layout template enhancements which I wanted to call out for those of you who might have missed it. The LT enhancements are applicable to all contracts as far as I can tell. https://video.tv.adobe.com/v/3483245/Please watch the recording if you’re interested in the new LT functionality below.-- Determine the options that appear in the More menu (proj, task, issue, portfolio, program)-- Determine toolbar options (e.g. you can hide everything except Create Project from Template)-- Customize header fields to include custom fields. (the 5 field limit remains unchanged)-- Customize left nav bars for groups, teams, users, templates Tagging in @user01245 for the 4th bullet point -- this might fix your issue more efficiently if you lock your casual requesters out of this section on their details page.
We’ve sporadically encountered this issue over the past four years, and no one has been able to resolve it. When a request comes in, we respond with an update or comment in the request, tagging the requestor. The requester responds to our comment, but the reply does not appear in the thread within the request; instead, it shows up in their own Profile ‘Updates’ area. No other users are tagged in these updates. We have no idea how these updates are reaching the user’s profile. Has anyone else experienced this? We only discover this when we check in with a customer after not hearing from them, and they say, “oh no, I replied to you!” We then have to search to find their comment, and most of the time, it’s on their own profile. My thought is that maybe they are replying to the notification email, and somehow it’s not being routed to the correct thread. Or perhaps there’s a link in the email that’s supposed to direct them to the existing comment thread, but instead is taking them to their
Hello,we are trying to add seo schema to our page, Adobe's documentation suggests to use json-ld to author seo schema, but I am clueless on how to add it as a property to page.json. Whenever I tried to add it as a property to page.json, the content which I author in that page is being rendered as a meta tag with name property which I have defined in page.json. It is not rendering as script tag as it was mentioned in documention. Could anyone help me with this. Thank You.

Hi All, I’m looking to tidy up fields in our schemas that are activated for profile, and have been looking into field deprecation. I fully understand deprecating a field doesn’t delete it, just removes it from the schema view, but I was also hoping it would clean it up from the profile view, audience builder… Am I doing something wrong or is this by design and it will only be deprecated from the schema itself? Many Thanks, Paul
With Claude or Cursor, is anyone using any MCPs that are helping either with code, workflow or analytics within work being done in Adobe Target?
If you've built a report, view, dashboard, or workflow in Workfront that makes your life as a project manager easier, we want to turn it into a recipe. The PM Cookbook is a community-driven collection of real Workfront setups — by project managers, for project managers. Think of it as your favorite recipe card, but instead of ingredients and steps, it's filters, fields, and the logic behind why it works. What makes a great “recipe”?Share something you actually rely on:A report you run every week A dashboard that stopped the constant “Can you send me a status?” pings A view that finally gave your team one source of truth A workflow that removed manual steps or confusionIf it solved a real problem for you or your team, it belongs in the cookbook. What you’ll submitTo submit your recipe, you’ll need:Recipe name Prep time, yield, and who it serves (e.g., “10 minutes to build, used by PMO leads weekly”) Report / view / dashboard / workflow type Step-by-step instructions with screenshots A s
Hello! I’m a researcher on Adobe’s Design Research & Strategy team. I am looking for participants who work with digital content and assets directly in AEM or other enterprise-level CMS platforms. Specifically, we want to speak with people who are creating, reviewing, and/or managing digital content themselves. We seek to learn more about how you create, review, or manage content, what friction points, if any, you experience, and how you might be leveraging AI to assist with your work. Importantly, the design team also wants to get feedback on a new experience they’re considering building. If you think you’d be a good fit, reply here (please @ me so I’m notified) or email me at lauber@adobe.com
Currently, External Lookup fields support JSON-based data sources, but only a single property can effectively be used/returned. This becomes limiting in real-world integrations where systems require a stored value that differs from the user-facing label.Example:[ { "label": "Not Applicable", "value": "not_applicable" }, { "label": "Brand New", "value": "brand_new" }]Today, we can only expose either the label or the value. In practice, this forces us to expose technical/internal values to end users so downstream systems can properly consume the data.A common example is AEM Tags:label → human-readable value shown to users value → internal identifier/path required by AEM for storage and integrationsWith the current limitation, users see implementation-specific values instead of clean UI labels because the native connector must send the correct stored value to AEM.Suggested improvement:Allow External Lookup fields to:display one property in the UI (e.g. label) store/send another property
I was recently configuring maintenance tasks in AEMaaCS and ran into several gaps in the official documentation.Documentation explains the concepts, but some practical aspects are not very clear, especially around:• YAML-based configuration of maintenance jobs• How these jobs relate to the maintenance window• How to test them locally, since YAML configs are not supported in the SDK• How (or if) it’s possible to verify execution by yourself via logs in AEMaaCSI had to raise an Adobe support ticket to fully understand the behavior. After going through the full setup, I documented everything end-to-end - including configuration and testing approach.Sharing it here in case it helps someone else working with AEMaaCS maintenance: https://medium.com/@nikitamitroshin/maintenance-in-aemaacs-a-complete-setup-guide-7580dd67b770Comments and feedback are welcome!
Hello,I would like to understand AEM 6.5.0 would continue to run if upgrade the windows server 2019 to 2022 ? What would need to be done before that hosting server upgrade ?
Hi, I need some help regarding an issue with our Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK and Adobe Target implementation. We are working on an integration using Adobe Launch, Web SDK (sendEvent) and Adobe Target, where everything works correctly on the initial page load. We already have a working setup where the Web SDK sends a request using correct decisionScopes, and a separate applyPropositions rule is used to render the experiences. However, we are facing an issue in a SPA environment where the page does not fully reload. Instead, filter changes update the URL using hash changes (window.location.hash).The problem is that when the user changes filters:the URL hash updates correctly but we cannot reliably trigger a new sendEvent the Launch History Change event is inconsistent sometimes it fires multiple times for the same filter change sometimes it does not fire at all depending on navigation flow As a result, the Web SDK request is not consistently sent, and in some cases we do not receive
When designers are using Asset Link to link to image files in the DAM via InDesign, the DAM is relating it to a duplicate image from a different path when the InDesign file is uploaded to the DAM. We have a current workflow that requires us to create duplicates. I am working on changing that workflow to eliminate the need for the duplicates but we aren't ready yet to do that. So my question is: When files with linked assets are uploaded to the DAM does AEM look for the first asset with that hash to relate it to or does it look for the one originally specified by Asset Link?
Hello, I have a user who has deleted assets in AEM before changing the status from ‘Approved’ to ‘Rejected’. This has resulted in the assets still appearing on Content Hub, with no way to remove them. Is there a way I can remove these assets from Content Hub? Thank you,Lana
I am trying to set up an integration between AWS Quick and Adobe Experience Manager. To setup the MCP connection AWS requires a Token and Authorization url. Can you let us know what those values are for the following MCP server? https://mcp.adobeaemcloud.com/adobe/mcpUsing MCP with AEM as a Cloud Service | Adobe Experience Manager
Hi all,We have a unitary event-based flow: streaming event → AEP → AJO journey → Custom Action (REST) → ACC delivery. We're currently using these methods for verification and debugging, and want to know if there's anything else we're missing:What we're using today:AEP Dataset Preview to spot-check ingested events AEP Identity Graph Viewer to verify identity stitching per profile AJO Test Mode to simulate the journey with test profiles before publishing AJO Journey Step Events dataset to see journey execution logs (entry, action calls, errors) AJO Live View / Journey Reports for monitoring journey activity ACC workflow logs and journal to trace incoming API calls through to deliveryOur questions:Are these the only native tools available for logging and debugging this type of flow, or are there others we're not aware of? Is there a way to see the exact payload and HTTP response of a Custom Action call beyond what the Step Events dataset provides? Has anyone implemented end-to-end traceabi
How to set up the storefront for Adobe commerce as a cloud service?
We are seeing a significant dropoff in open rates and we suspect there was a recent change to how AJO handles auto opens. AJO has always included auto opens, mostly from iOS mail protection, as part of the unique open metric. While this inflated open rates, it has been that way for quite some time. Now, we are seeing a new Estimated Email Opens metric which seems to no longer include auto opens. Can this be confirmed? This is a significant change to the optics of how open rates are reported. If this change was made, can we please understand how an open is classified as an auto open? Just because someone has mail protection enabled does not mean that every email they are opening is an auto open. We need to better understand the logic behind this change if it was made.
I’m having an odd issue when receiving translations back from our provider. Issue:When translations are accepted back into AEM from our translation provider, I'm seeing a variance in the metadata the assets end up with in the target folder. It's mainly one field: "cq:TranslationSourcePath" (needed for my purposes) Project 1: Results show the cq:translationSourcePath (along with other metadata) on the target (de_de) assets “jcr:content” node. Project 2: missing translation metadata, Note it’s a different project, same target (de_de) note one of the only fields that gets copied to the target asset. Please Note: I'm not convinced this is a translation provider-related issue, as the data already exists in the "staging" area that AEM creates when initiating translations. Please see the screenshot below for the temporary location created for the translation (this is before the translation was sent back to AEM, i.e., before it was deleted as part of clean up): Conclusion:Because the data ex
Description - It would be ideal if you were to specify, at project template level, that planned hours can be front or rear loaded (in addition to being spread evenly across the task duration) when assigned to a user. Why is this feature important to you - This would help our project managers to schedule resource more accurately, it will allow them to schedule tasks on the same day, get get the most for the available resource on a granular level. The assignees would also benefit, they can concentrate on one task at a time, moving onto the next once the fist has finished. How would you like the feature to work - If a task has a two day duration and 8 planned hours and is assigned to a user who has a capacity of 7 hours per day, WF would allocate 7 hours in day 1 and 1 hour in day two. The task would be set to start at 9am and finish at 5pm which is inline with our default schedule. If the assignee has 2 hours available on day 1 and 7 available in day 2, the task would be s
We are observing an issue in AEM Guides (Cloud Service) where the translation status does not revert after cancelling a translation job. As per Adobe documentation and earlier fixed issues, when a translation job is cancelled or deleted, the “In Progress” status should revert to the original state. However, in our environment, the status continues to remain “In Progress”. Observed Behavior: When sending a DITA topic/map for translation where the target language copy does not exist: A placeholder (empty) language copy is created. If the translation job is then cancelled: The placeholder file remains in the target language folder. The translation status of the asset still shows “In Progress”. The status does not revert even after some time or refresh. Expected Behavior: On cancellation of the translation job: Translation status should revert from “In Progress” to the original state. Placeholder language copies (if not translated) should ideally be cleaned up or
Hi Team,Can we deploy AEM Guide in AEM RDE environment Thanks
Hello, As you all know, now Google usually generates an AI result for any search, giving you the sources it used on the right. If you click on those, it will take you to your site URL appending something like "#:~:text" to it. I have created a Marketing Channel to allocate traffic coming from sites like Chat GPT and so to "AI traffic", and I want to send these AI generated results to this bucket. The problem is that I don't know how to capture this "#:~:text=" used by Google. Neither window.location.hash nor window.location.href worked :s. Any ideas? I would also appreciate if you shared any other tips regarding the use of AI as a Marketing Channel. Thanks!
Hi! In my company we have set up the marketing channels in the best way, but the results I see from workspace do not convince me and I think there are errors in the processing rules, but I do not know how to solve them. The main anomalies I see in the data are: The main anomalies I see in the data are:- 55% of the audience of the marketing channel "direct" is from Referrer Type "Search Engines", specifically the majority comes from Google. In the Processing Rules "direct" is my last rule, and above it are the rules for the "search" channels. I share the configuration of the rules: Here you can see the order of the rules: Here the configuration of both "Search" channels: "Direct" Marketing Channel: Why if we have specified in the "Search" rules to collect the data "Matches Natural Search Detection Rules" not all "Search" traffic is collected in the corresponding channels and falls into "Direct"? Thank you!
Hello,I’d like to isolate first-time purchasers in Adobe Analytics — users who made their very first transaction during a specific time period. Is there a recommended way to do this using segments or calculated metrics?Any guidance or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
