Verifying On-Time Delivery logic in Workfront: same-day date comparisonsWe are implementing an On-Time Delivery KPI where work is considered on time if the Actual Completion Date is the same day or earlier than the Planned Completion Date.However, even when both dates appear as the same day in the UI (with different times), comparisons using <=, DATE(), DATEDIFF(), and DATENOTIME() sometimes return late.Is this expected due to Workfront storing DateTime values in UTC?What is the officially recommended approach for calendar-day-based SLAs in Workfront?What is the way to compare only date without time ?

I have a proof report that shows me everything I need except the planned routing due date. I have the field attached to all of our issues and projects, but I can’t find a way to get it to show on the report. Anyone have an idea how to do it?

Hi! I am trying to create a calendar that shows user’s open tasks (individual and group tasks).Users want to exclude tasks where they’ve selected “done with my part” even if the task is still open.Is there a way to filter for this in the calendar report?Thank you!

I thought this would be easy, but so far it hasn’t worked. We have a typeahead field called ‘Associated project’ that lets the user select another project in the system.  I want to add a report/dashboard to the left panel of every project in the system that will show all the other projects that list the CURRENT project in their ‘Associated project’ field.  The report works perfectly if I set it up with a prompt, but I can’t get it to work automatically when viewed within the project.Is there a way to use text mode to filter the report based on the current Project ID?  Copilot says that this text mode expression will work, but so far it hasn’t, and I think it’s just hallucinating solutions:!--scriptorstartfragment-->parameterValues:Associated Project=$$PROJECT.IDparameterValues:Associated Project_Mod=eq!--scriptorendfragment-->

I'm receiving an error when uploading documents. (Failed to upload file)This is happening to my zip file that is 1.77 GBI never used to get errors like this but for about the last month have been having this happen all the time.

It is just me or do the log files seem to be even slower to process and post? I am looking at a history screen with 9 runs that have yet to process the history - all of them are at least 15 mins old. Makes it hard to diagnosis issues... just sayin

I’ve added a custom expression to projects that calculates the fiscal quarter and year in which the project was created. I’d like to use this for past AND future reporting. Currently, all projects display “N/A” so I’ll need to recalculate the expressions of at least the past year’s worth of projects. I tried to use the bulk edit method described in the documentation here, but the UI is different from the screenshots, and I don’t see the “recalculate expressions” checkbox. Does anyone know of another way to do this, or if I’m performing the steps incorrectly? I don’t have access to Fusion, so I can only do this within Workfront itself. Thank you for your help!

I know Adobe has this feature in other platforms. It would be great to get to multiselect existing uploaded documents already in the documents tab and create a multipage proof directly from there. Thank you!

Hi,Why we cannot add a project related (Project ID) field in user object report.Is that a workfront native or is there any option to add.

In my instance, we have a frequent question/point of confusion that comes up with our team and I’ve never quite been able to come up with a good way to explain it to people that makes sense to them. I’m wondering if this is a common confusion, and if anyone has come up with good teaching methods for it?  Scenario: We make a custom form for a new intake process, and a matching summary report for the team who manage the process to see all the records/data that are input on it. Over time, the process managers get used to using that report like Excel, and rarely have a need to open the Issue/Request record that’s behind it.Challenge: Sometime later, the process managing team have someone new join the team. That person is shown the report and asked to make some updates. They are unable to make the edits, which results in a support ticket to my team incorrectly asking for edit access to the report itself rather than the records it’s displaying.  The real issue is that the new team member was

I would find a great deal of value in a webinar/Q&A session with Adobe Product Managers tailored to understanding the pivot from the standard Proofing experience to the Unified Approvals experience. Seems to be a wide range of considerations and no hard deadlines on some required changes, but documentation seems “thin” and some of these changes need measurable documentation and process re-training in my organization. There is even documentation on how to use Unified Approvals and Proofing together https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/review-and-approve-work/document-reviews-and-approvals/manage-asset-review-and-approval/doc-approvals-and-proofing but not much that speaks to when existing Proofing functionality would be phased out completely. Can this type of information event be prioritized by the Workfront team?

Grok and I have been trying to crack this nut for an hour now. (I asked the AI Assistant and….let’s just say there were many 👎🏻s) Figured I’d ask the hive mind and--if I figure it out before anyone else does--I’ll post it here for everyone else.The ask: I want to be able to determine the ID of an approval attached to an issue. The only pieces of data I have are the approvalProcessID (which I know because I have Fusion apply an approval process to these issues) and currentApprovalStepID. No matter what I do with that currentApprovalStepID, I just cannot get to the approval. If I try to use that to search for the APPROVAL object, I get a 400. If I try searching via the ARVSTP object, I get scolded that it’s “...not a top level object and can't be requested directly in internal”There has to be something that both Grok and I are missing here. Any thoughts?

Hi,I have created a calculated column in an Adobe Workfront report using text mode, and the column displays correct numeric values (0/1) in the report grid. However, this column does not appear in the “Values” dropdown when configuring a chart for the same report.What I have done Report Type: Project / Task Report Created a calculated column using text mode: The column correctly shows: 1 for on-time 0 for late Attempted to use this column in: Pie / Column / Gauge charts Different “Summarized by” options (Average, Sum, Count) Issue The calculated column does not appear in the Chart → Values dropdown. Native numeric fields and custom number fields do appear correctly. Questions Are calculated columns (text-mode columns) supported as chart values in Workfront? Is there a known limitation that prevents calculated columns from being used in charts? Is creating a custom calculated field on the object the only supported way to chart this data?

Hi Workfront SME’s- late last week, hundreds of very old proofs appeared in the My Approvals widget for several users in our Workfront instance (our Deputy CMO has 184 proofs from 2022 & on- the normal amount is 10). Did anyone experience a similar issue? We have had several instances of the My Approvals widget being out of sync with the Proofing module. This issue has happened to us 8 times since May 2025. I sent off a ticket to Adobe on Friday morning asking tech support to re-sync WF & the proofing module immediately, and I AM STILL WAITING for the re-sync to happen. Meanwhile, with hundreds of outdated proofs in the widget, it is causing confusion about what does or does not need to be reviewed, is causing delays on feedback & approvals, and is forcing people to create workarounds such as sending assets via email for approval, which could cause problems for us with internal audits in the future.

What’s the best way to set up a task with a varying duration?For example: Task A has a fixed date. Task C has a fixed date. Task B needs to start on Task A’s due date and finish on Task C’s start date. The duration will flux as the fixed dates are edited. I’ve tried various predecessors and duration types but nothing is quite giving me what I need. 

I am trying to calculate On-Time Delivery % in Adobe Workfront using a Project report, but the percentage column is not returning any values.What I have done so far: Created a row-level calculated column to flag on-time completion:  IF(ISBLANK({actualCompletionDate}),NULL, IF({actualCompletionDate}<={plannedCompletionDate},1,0)) This column correctly returns 1 for on-time and 0 for late items. Added a second column to calculate the percentage using text mode:  valueexpression=SUM({DE:On Time Flag}) / COUNT valueformat=percent Added filters: Status = Complete Actual Completion Date is not blank Planned Completion Date is not blank Added grouping (Project Type / Team / Status). Issue: The On-Time Flag column shows values correctly. The On-Time % column shows no values (blank) even after grouping.  My question: Is there a supported calculated formula in Workfront to calculate On-Time Delivery %? Are COUNT or aggregation functions not supported in valueexpression for Project

Hi,Is there any possibility to add a field in the Columns section of a report that shows the number of projects created by a specific user in Adobe Workfront?I am specifically looking to display this value as a column, rather than only seeing it in grouping summaries.Context: Report types tested: Project Report and User Report Requirement: Count of projects created by a user Expectation: A numeric value displayed directly in a column Challenge: Calculated fields do not support aggregation (COUNT) across related objects. Text mode expressions using COUNT() do not return values. Question to the community: Is this functionality supported in Workfront? If not, what is the recommended or standard approach to display the number of projects created by a user in project report?
