The Adobe Marketo Engage product capabilities described in this help article, configured and operated appropriately, support a compliant implementation. Each user is responsible for determining and complying with its obligations under applicable law.OverviewOn April 14, 2026, France’s data protection authority (CNIL) published a recommendation on the use of open tracking pixels in emails. This policy impacts any entity sending emails to subscribers based in France.CNIL provided a three-month period from the date of the recommendation for companies to inform their email recipients of the presence of the tracking pixels, their purpose, and the recipients’ right to opt-out. During this transition period, Marketo Engage users are expected to notify their

I spoke at the Adobe Summit Experience League Theater AMA series a few weeks ago. For anyone who missed it - or who's been wrestling with the same adoption challenges I keep seeing - here's what I covered. The Adoption CeilingMost Adobe Analytics and CJA implementations eventually hit the same wall. Power users are thriving. Everyone else is frustrated. They don't understand what the dimensions mean, or why some of them have no data. They've stopped trusting the numbers. And whenever they need something, they file a ticket with IT - where it joins a queue.CJA makes this worse before it makes it better. More data sources means more dimensions spanning multiple departments, and most people have no map for any of it. The Lighthouse FrameworkAt Accrease, we've built an approach around this called the Lighthouse Framework. The idea is simple: instead of routing everything to IT, every business unit gets one trusted point of guidance - a 'lighthouse' - who sits in their team, understands the

Opens and clicks have long been considered the gold standard for measuring email performance, thanks to their simplicity and broad accessibility. But in recent years, the gap between these metrics and real human behavior has grown rapidly. Today, relying on basic metrics like opens and clicks can be misleading. Why? Because they track technical signals, not real human behavior. Why Email Metrics Often Don’t Reflect Real Human Behavior Here’s the reality: Opens are recorded when a tracking pixel loads, and clicks register when a link is requested. Neither proves that someone actually read your email, paid attention, or intended to engage. Factor in modern email bots, security scanners, and privacy tools, and what looks like an “engaged” audience can be a mix of real humans and automated systems. As marketers, it’s crucial to grasp not just how this skews standard email engagement metrics, but also the ripple effects it can have on revenue and the sales funnel: Compromised A/B Test Resu

Hi,I need to add columns to a report to display real-time document approval Status and Decision values (such as "Approved", "Needs work", or "In review").Currently, these columns are showing up completely blank for several document rows, even though I can see active workflows and user decisions when viewing the files directly in the Workfront interface.I have already tried building Document, Document Version, and Document Approval reports, but I cannot locate the correct database fields. Standard Text Mode fields like approvalStatus and proofDecision are remaining empty.Could someone please provide the exact Text Mode code or the specific API fields/bridge objects required to map these active workflow decisions into a report?Thank you!
Hello,When adding an audience to an Adobe Journey Optimizer campaign, the audience-selection window displays all available audiences in a single flat list. Users can search or apply filters and tags, but they cannot browse the folder structure already available in the Audiences workspace. Why is this feature important? For organizations managing hundreds or thousands of audiences, a flat list is difficult and inefficient to navigate. Audience folders are commonly used to organize audiences by market, business unit, campaign type, environment, or use case.Without folder navigation, users must remember exact audience names or rely on tags, which may not always be applied consistently. This slows down campaign creation and increases the risk of selecting the wrong audience. How should the feature work? The AJO campaign audience selector should display the same folder hierarchy available in the Audiences workspace. Users should be able to:Browse and expand audience folders. See their current f
Strategy Is a Team SportThere's a version of marketing strategy that happens in isolation — one person, one whiteboard, a lot of thinking, and eventually a plan that nobody else has pressure-tested. That version produces a certain kind of work. It's usually safe. It's often competent. And it rarely produces the kind of breakthroughs that come from being genuinely challenged by people who see your problem from a different angle. The best marketers in the US don't work in isolation. They belong to communities where ideas get stress-tested, where someone with a different industry background spots the flaw in your assumptions, and where a casual conversation at a networking event turns into the strategic insight that reframes your entire campaign. This is what serious marketing associations actually deliver when they're functioning at their best — not just contacts, but genuine intellectual community. The Internet Marketing Association has spent more than two decades building the infrastruct
Recently we came across situation where we found out that adblockers are not blocking assets.adobedtm.com domains as well, impact of this launch scripts which is hosted in akami (adobe managed hosting option), entire ecosystem of AEP is failed on on webchannel. Here the concern was core functionality and value proposition of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Analytics implementations. As you are aware:Adobe positions AEP, Launch (Tags), and related solutions as enabling: First-party data collection Server-side tracking Resilience against ad blockers and privacy restrictions However, in our case:Adobe Launch scripts hosted on Adobe-managed Akamai domains are being blocked by ad blockers When these scripts are blocked: Data collection fails at the source Downstream AEP and Analytics capabilities become ineffective So concern here If the entry point (Launch script) itself is blocked, first-party data collection and server-side tracking become significantly limited in real-world s
I have noticed this ‘module’ section that is now accessible where you can select components to drag into the email you can also select prebuilt modules. I can’t find any documentation about this or if it’s possible to customise and add our own pre-built modules instead of creating fragments. Does anyone know if this is possible?
Right now, we can only export meta data on a folder level. This is impractical if you need to edit only meta data for 30 assets, but then wait hours for a folder meta data report because there are 5k assets in a folder. And no, smaller folder is not an option here. So what would be preferrable is that you simply select any assets you want and click “export metadata”. The upload of meta data should support this, so that you can add the meta data e.g. for the top folder and it will be applied to all assets in the csv, regardless of their sub folder location (not tested in current environment - maybe this works already?).
Currently, the meta data export csv does not contain the asset ID. This is a real problem because the asset ID (“urn:aaid:aem:”) is the unique identifier and with this ID, you can easily compare, consolidate or edit meta data import sheets or locate a specific asset in the csv, even if some assets have identical titles etc.. This is a feature that I would expect of ANY DAM, not a nice to have, but a must-have. Support asked me to send in an idea, but I feel the product is lacking a standard feature here.
Enable a client into a journey. A journey in this case could be serious of steps a client has to taken to complete an action. Taking an action is supported in multiple channels like web, mobile in app, email and push notifications. How would one should think of creating an omni channel journey that helps us visualize end to end client move through the journey? Question: How can Adobe Journey Optimizer support an omnichannel client journey today and in the future?I’m looking for guidance on how to model and orchestrate an end-to-end, omnichannel client journey using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).In this context, a journey represents a series of steps or actions that a client needs to take to accomplish a specific goal. These interactions may happen across multiple channels, such as:Web Mobile/in-app Email Push notificationsFor example, a client may start an action on the web, receive an email as the next step, continue the process in the mobile app, and then receive a push notification
As title says. I need to retrieve the organization's name. I have tried using Schema Registry API, but closest I have gotten is tenant ID, which is fine, but it is not exactly what I'm looking for. So, I got a question: is there a way to get organization name using Experience Platform APIs? Or is there an API (perhaps from Developer Console or Admin Console) that I can use to get the organization's name?
Hello everyone, Good Morning. I have worked on Adobe reporting API previously and currently exploring the CJA API to extract data from Adobe workspaces I have created a project in console and adding CJA API to it and was able to establish a connection and can see data views via the /data/dataviews end point. However the subsequent calls via /data/dataviews/{dataview_id}/dimensions end point are failing with API error 403027 . The solution mentioned is to add AEP API into the project. Can some one explain me the dependency of AEP API for the same. Thanks in advance
Hi Team,I have an AEM page that includes one or more Experience Fragments, also known as XFs. The page is already published and is accessed through a domain on the AEM Publish environment.I need to display a “Last Modified” date on the main page. This date should be calculated based on the latest published modification date across the main page and all related or referenced content. The requirements are as follows:If the main page is modified and published, the displayed Last Modified date should be the main page’s latest published modification date. If one or more Experience Fragments used on the page are modified and published, while the main page itself is not modified, the displayed date should be the latest published modification date of the Experience Fragment. If both the main page and one or more Experience Fragments are modified and published, the displayed date should be the most recent published modification date among them. If an Experience Fragment used on the page contains
