I'm sharing in case you run across this issue or have a solution. I've run across an issue with migrating classification rules containing custom text values. If the old rule contains a rule type of Regular Expression and a custom text value in the "To" field, the regex does not migrate. I open the rule in the new Classification Sets interface, go to Rules, then click Migrate. The migration completes but the rule screen is blank with the message “Drag and drop a function to get started”. The original rules are missing. (There is no "try and migrate again" option.) Ok. So, I needed to manually rebuild the rules. (If there had been a lot of rules, that would have been a burden.) I rebuilt the rule, saved the rule, and activated it. Some days later, I checked the report and the report did not show the expected custom value but showed "Unknown" instead. After a week, it still showed "Unknown". I then changed the new rule to use $1 instead of the custom value. I checked the report and that w

On my site, on each page load, we populate the following:Page Type (c1) and Page Type (v1)  - acceptable values “Home” , “Search”, “Product”.v1 is set to expire after the visit.I was expecting to see the same number of visits both for Entry Page type (c1) and Entry Page Type (v1) for each different value of the page Type but I am not.So, assuming that c1 and v1 are properly set each time on each page load, is that normal that the number of visits differ for each page type between the Entry Page type (c1) and the Entry Page Type (v1) report ? The v1 report has a lot of visits with value “unspecified”. 

Hi everyone,I’m currently trying to test the Adobe Analytics MCP.So far, I have:been granted the required permissions (MCP Access + Developer Access) created a project in the Adobe Developer Console generated API credentials/keys as part of the setupAfter adding the MCP server in Cursor, I’m able to authenticate successfully. However, all requests fail afterward with a 500 Internal Server Error coming from the MCP endpoint.Error message:Transient error connecting to streamableHttp server:Streamable HTTP error: Error POSTing to endpoint:{ "method":"POST", "error":"Proxy error", "message":"500 Internal Server Error", "targetUrl":"https://<adobe-mcp-endpoint>/mcp"}From the logs, it seems the OAuth/authentication flow succeeds, but the MCP endpoint itself fails afterward.Has anyone run into this before, or does anyone know what could be the cause?Any guidance would be hugely appreciated. thanks!

Hi team,I’m working on a 6sense + Adobe Launch integration and facing an issue with how data appears in Adobe Analytics reporting.Current ImplementationOn a first‑time visit, the page loads normally and fires a page view call, followed by a non‑page view call that contains the 6sense attributes (stored in eVars). I’m trying to avoid delaying the page‑view call.If anyone knows how to include 6sense attributes in the initial page‑view call without delaying it, please suggest. On a return visit, I merge the 6sense eVars into the page‑view call.ProblemIn reporting, I see unexpected behavior.Example: In the Country dimension, United States and Unspecified both show 70%+ for Visits—together exceeding 100%.(Refer to attached screenshot.)Any best practices to include 6sense attributes in the initial page‑view hit without delaying it?

How are you all documenting your analytics requirements to pass to developers? We release new features/products on our website and app monthly, and are currently using the same drawn-out and tedious process to request our analytics implementation work that we’ve been using for years. We (the analysts using Adobe Analytics) receive designs of the experience in Figma from Product, screenshot those screen by screen and outline what variables/events need to set on each screen/with each interaction in a PPT, and then a technical specifications document gets created by someone on the more technical side (using trackState, etc.) in a PDF. That document is then passed to IT for development. There has to be a more efficient way. I’d love to hear how all of you are handling this process when you’re pushing multiple analytics implementations across multiple platforms monthly.

Every time I close and reopen Excel, I need to login again to use the New Report Builder Add-in, although I enable “Stay logged-in” during login. This is super annoying. When will it support saving login status?

Hello, When I schedule a macro-enabled Excel file (.xlsm) in the New Report builder, it gets stuck in status “Refresh in Progress”.The same file saved as .xlsx (without macros) run without problems. I suppose this must be a bug, since it’s not documented anywhere that .xlsm files are not supported (which would render the new Report Builder useless for our use case).Any ideas?Best

In CJA, For Full Table Export feature, is there any limit on how many times an export can be executed within a given time frame, or can it be triggered multiple times without restriction?Egress-use-cases-deep-div

 How would you explain the container levels:session  - pretty straight forward - separate session  event - is it required to have separate container for that if we use event? logic group - what is that?

I created a segment based on a fallout touchpoint in Adobe Analytics, and then used that segment within a calculated metric wrapped around an event.However, I’m noticing that the value of this metric changes depending on the overall date range selected in the report.For example, when I set the date range from January 1 to January 31, the metric count for January is 100. But when I expand the date range from January 1 to April 30 and then break the data down by month, the count for January increases to 200 instead of remaining at 100 (which I believe is the correct value).Can someone explain why this is happening? Is this expected behaviour when using a segment derived from a fallout touchpoint within a calculated metric?
