Hello! I’m a researcher on Adobe’s Design Research & Strategy team. I am looking for participants who work with digital content and assets directly in AEM or other enterprise-level CMS platforms. Specifically, we want to speak with people who are creating, reviewing, and/or managing digital content themselves. We seek to learn more about how you create, review, or manage content, what friction points, if any, you experience, and how you might be leveraging AI to assist with your work.  Importantly, the design team also wants to get feedback on a new experience they’re considering building. When designers are using Asset Link to link to image files in the DAM via InDesign, the DAM is relating it to a duplicate image from a different path when the InDesign file is uploaded to the DAM. We have a current workflow that requires us to create duplicates. I am working on changing that workflow to eliminate the need for the duplicates but we aren't ready yet to do that. So my question is: When files with linked assets are uploaded to the DAM does AEM look for the first asset with that hash to relate it to or does it look for the one originally specified by Asset Link?

Hello, I have a user who has deleted assets in AEM before changing the status from ‘Approved’ to ‘Rejected’. This has resulted in the assets still appearing on Content Hub, with no way to remove them. Is there a way I can remove these assets from Content Hub? Thank you,Lana

We are building a solution in AEMaaCS to notify 3rd party system whenever a DAM asset is created, updated, or deleted — covering all asset types including images, documents, Content Fragments, and videos.Our approach uses AEM Eventing (Adobe I/O Events) with an Adobe I/O Runtime Action as the processor, which then forwards the event payload to 3rd party log monitoring system.One key question before we finalize the design:Will DAM asset events fire consistently from both the new Assets View console and the Classic Admin View (/assets.html)? Hello, I have a user who seems to have all-but-Admin rights to AEM Assets, and has access to Content Hub. He is however unable to share Collections. When he creates a Collection, the only option for who has access is “Only you and admins can view and edit”. He says he has previously been able to create a collection and give public access, but this was only to one Collection. We’ve not been using Content Hub for too long so not sure what I might be missing!Thank youLana 

Hi all, I am relatively new to AEM. I apologize in advance for the long message. I am an admin/owner for our AEM account at my job. My question pertains to my users who aren’t admins themselves, specifically our design team. They are currently uploading folders from their computers to a specific folder in AEM and we need for them to be able to add an existing metadata profile to that folder they uploaded so they can then enter the appropriate metadata info. Are there ways for users to do this, or do they need to be admins?I have created a custom folder metadata profile in Tools > Folder Metadata Schemas. Through Folder Metadata Schema Forms I am able to select this custom profile I created and then apply it to any folder in our AEM space. When I ran some testing with one of my users, they were able to access Folder Metadata Schema Forms through Tools, however they didn’t have the ability to apply the schema to a folder (presumably because they aren’t admin level). When an image in DAM is moved from folder 1 to folder 2, we see that the content pages with references to the images are updated but the content fragments are not updated. Is there a way to make sure that anytime an image is moved, the references of the image in Content Fragments are also updated? I am using AEMaaCS. Thanks, David.

Hi,We have used Asset Insights to obtain basic asset measurements. Is there a way to combine these measurements in a more expanded way using Adobe Analytics, CJA, and Workfront?Also, is there a way to integrate data from all four sources—Asset Insights, Adobe Analytics, CJA, and Workfront?Thanks. 

Does anyone know if there is a way to link AEM Assets Collection with Adobe Express Library?  

A third-party penetration test flagged that PDF files downloaded from our AEM publish instance contain embedded metadata revealing software version information (e.g., Adobe InDesign 19.5, Adobe PDF Library 17.0, Adobe XMP Core 9.1). The security team requires this metadata to be stripped before the file is served to end users.We are requesting Adobe's official confirmation that AEM as a Cloud Service does not modify or strip metadata embedded within the binary content of uploaded DAM assets, and guidance on the recommended approach. What We Tried 1. Hi,We are trying to syn asset metadata schemas from AEM Assets Old UI to the AEM Assets New UI, but we are facing several issues and need clarity on the expected behavior of the new UI.When importing metadata schemas from the Old UI, the schemas are created successfully but are not applied to any asset folder. In the New UI, there is a option to assign the imported schema to a folder but failing to add it to the folder. Even after creating a new metadata schema directly in the New UI, we are unable to apply it to an asset folder. We would like to understand whether folder properties can be viewed or managed in the New UI, and if so, how? I just purchased Adobe Dream Weaver, after having not had the Creative Cloud for about a year.When I attempt to activate it by clicking the Dream Weaver I get a message that I can’t activate it because mfc140u.dll was not found. How do I solve this dilemma? Thank you in advance for your help with this. 

I am working on AEM 6.5 CS and content hub is integrated.when we upload assets in content hub and it reached AEM’s hydrated-assets folder , it’s dc:title and dc:description value is overridden by extracted values from assets.I want to priorities Content Hub value, is there a way I can achieve this?

Is there an API connection between AEM Assets and the Google Campaign Manager image library? The use case is that images are stored in AEM Assets and need to be copied to the Google Campaign Manager image library for ad serving. Is there an automation that can be built here via an API connection? There is no OOTB utility available. So it seems it would be a custom build solution. 

I’ve tried everything to create a support ticket and keep getting the run around.  I’m the only user on the account which means I’m also the admin. It either says I’m not entitled, or I’m not authorized to log into the various support tools.  I’ve tried everything and am pulling my hair out to create a ticket. Please advise how I get my account setup as the admin so I can create a ticket. Steven

We’re trying to implement a server to server integration with AEM 6.5 AMS (not Cloud), and I’ve been trying to set it up locally.I got the OAuth2.0 client working (created the client in the OAuth Clients section of the Security Tools.Given the access to the oauthserver service users, created a ScopeWithPrivileges class giving read/write access to the /content/dam path for the service to use.I’m able to get the Bearer token correctly, but when I tried to upload an asset by posting to  http://localhost:4502/api/assets/companies/product-staging/new_test.pngI’m getting a 500with a status.message "status.message": "Can't create child on a synthetic root",the same call using basic auth for the same user (admin), works correctly. Anyone ever done this with the AssetAPI or are we stuck using basic auth for this?I’m half guessing something isn’t right with the ScopeWithPrivilege class, if anyone succeeded knows what we’re doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

I’m exploring to start using Image Templates to generate composed Images with embedded text.Now that we are defining Template details, I would like to save the templates in our code repository so it can be versioned, replicated through different environments and protected from unwanted access or modifications. I looked through documentation but didn’t found explicitly where can these templates be stored and at the same time, be available to be used.  Do you know if this templates can be saved in ui.apps, ui.config or ui.content modules and if there is any specific path allowed?I asked chatgpt and mentioned that it cna be under ui.apps directly below ui.apps as: /apps/your-project-name/dynamic-media-templates/ But I would like to know if anyone has already done this before. Thank you in advance for your help :) Luis Moreno
