Adobe Experience Manager Assets

I just purchased Adobe Dream Weaver, after having not had the Creative Cloud for about a year.When I attempt to activate it by clicking the Dream Weaver I get a message that I can’t activate it because mfc140u.dll was not found. How do I solve this dilemma? Thank you in advance for your help with this. 

I’m exploring to start using Image Templates to generate composed Images with embedded text.Now that we are defining Template details, I would like to save the templates in our code repository so it can be versioned, replicated through different environments and protected from unwanted access or modifications. I looked through documentation but didn’t found explicitly where can these templates be stored and at the same time, be available to be used.  Do you know if this templates can be saved in ui.apps, ui.config or ui.content modules and if there is any specific path allowed?I asked chatgpt and mentioned that it cna be under ui.apps directly below ui.apps as: /apps/your-project-name/dynamic-media-templates/ But I would like to know if anyone has already done this before. Thank you in advance for your help :) Luis Moreno

We have a legal/compliance requirement to store all our iterations/versions of our documents. In addition to retaining them for an indefinite period, we need to be able to view the various iterations/versions & markups (created via Adobe Acrobat) that have been created during the document creation & approval process of the document. I loaded a couple iterations of a document that had 7 iterations/versions created in another content management tool (again, markups created via Adobe Acrobat) and tried to access the prior iterations in the timeline preview but do not see the markups in the preview. I double-clicked on the current document and do see there are markups, but you can’t select them or hover over them to see the actual markups. We need an easy way to view all iterations/versions of a document and be able to see the markups made from version to version. 

I am trying to edit the image by utilizing the masking and the original source image. While using the Firefly image fill APIs, I encountered a problem indicating that Firefly is unable to read or process the images.I have already experimented with various images, including those created by Firefly itself, but the issue persists.Has anyone else faced a similar challenge?Please advise me on what I might be overlooking !Attached is a screenshot of the Postman collection and the error encountered.  Thanks in Advance !

I’m looking for suggestions and practical approaches followed by anyone or to follow for the migration of binary from Box to AEMaaCS? We get a lot of stock imagery from Getty. I’m wondering if anyone knows if there is an integration that exists between Getty and AEM?

I am wondering if there is a way to save renditions in AEM that are in essence individual assets? Here is an example:We have over 20 different lines of business and 4 separate brands. This leaves us with a lot of logos. And each logo has multiple variations: 4 color, 2 color, black and white, etc. Then there are separate file formats and resolutions for those as well. I do not trust any system to render logos out using presets so we have each of these created to meet our specific branding needs when it comes to the colors and their breakdowns. This leads to an oppressive amount of individual assets in the DAM that a user has to sift through and makes it difficult for non-creatives to know which file is the one they should use for their need.I’m hoping there is a way to set up one asset in the DAM, we’ll call it Brand 1 Logo, and then upload the rest of the variants as renditions of that one asset that we can give titles to that are related to the use (For example, Large format print, W

Hi,We are facing weird issue where video when successfully reprocessed isn’t loading when played via DASH delivery (Video.js player) but works fine when triggered via re-upload workflow. I am running into conflicts where multiple teams working on non Adobe platforms and wish to have central repository for storing raw working files for collaboration. Hello,I have a question regarding Content Fragment permissions in AEM as a Cloud Service.A user can publish Content Fragments from the Assets console, but when opening the Content Fragment Editor, the Publish button is not visible.The user currently has: jcr:all on /content/site jcr:all on /content/dam/site Membership in groups such as Authors, Contributors, and AEM Sites Content Managers (author). The user can edit and save the fragment without issues.Is there any additional permission or group required for the Publish button to appear in the Content Fragment Editor (for example jcr:replicate or workflow permissions)?Thank you for your help.

Hi, We are facing an issue while copying the content from Prod to Stage / Dev in AEM CS. We are using content copy option in Cloud manager to do so. The custom namespace  we created are getting changed from  abc:assetID to abc0:assetID this is causing an issue for the few functionalities where we are using these metadata(s). Please suggest the way to fix the issue. TIA.

Hi team,I am trying to upload password protected PDFs and I am seeing error once pdf is uploaded. Does AEM supports password protected PDFs? If no, do we have any pipeline to enable this feature? 

I'm looking for suggestions on how to handle the 10TB of assets from a vendor base to AEMaaCS. As the data is huge and confidential, no feasibility to involve any 3rd parties like tools/http calls etc. It should be cloud(like AWS/AZURE/GCP etc) to cloud(AEMaaCS). Please share inputs if anyone handled such use-cases or in and around the same, would be very much appreciated.
