AEM Assets Content Advisor now works in your browser (Beta)
Your approved assets are in AEM Assets, but their authors are writing in Word, PowerPoint, WordPress, Google Docs and other surfaces. The new browser extension brings AEM Assets Content Advisor and Dynamic Media to those apps. Install it, sign in with your Adobe ID, and go. No integration or dev work needed.
What it does -
a) Suggests assets from the whole page ("Suggest from page") or one area ("Suggest from region"), or from text you highlight ("Find related content")
b) Gives you the exact Dynamic Media rendition: presets, Smart Crops, with live-preview modifiers (for your own on-the-fly renditions) - Drag and drop assets in, or copy them/ DM URL where drag and drop isn't supported
c) full AEM Content Advisor goodness - AI search, campaign brief-based suggestions and Dynamic Media renditions all come along
d) Your layout - Show or hide the floating widget and the inline Find related content toolbar, and choose a light or dark theme
Where it works
- Word, PowerPoint, WordPress, Google Docs and most other web apps
- AEM Sites 6.5, where a remote AEM Assets Cloud Service is configured using Dynamic Media with OpenAPI (approved assets only)
- Adobe CX Enterprise products without a native AEM Assets integration
- Acrobat on the web
Good to know: Chrome or another Chromium browser (including Edge). You need an Adobe ID with repository access, plus a Dynamic Media license to see renditions
