The Workfront Wire, November 2026 - Your Go-To Source for News, Updates & Events

Welcome to the November edition of the Workfront Wire! This is your monthly roundup built just for Workfront customers. Think of this as your one-stop-shop for the latest news, updates, events, and everything happening across the Workfront world. And this month, there's a lot going on.

New Perspectives from your Peers

Did you know your peers share real-world use cases and best practices in the Perspectives area of Experience League? Recently, two Workfront Champions published their stories, and they’re well worth a read:

  • AI Collaborators in Workfront: Your new teammates by Becky Barus, Adobe Workfront & Business Architecture Associate Manager, Accenture. Learn how to assign AI agents to tasks the same way you assign people, from choosing a high-impact use case and setting up an agent to extending it with Workfront Fusion and tracking its output.
  • Context is everything: Connecting Workfront to AI with MCP server by Ross Barton, VP of Project Management, Ologie. See how connecting Workfront to an LLM turned a 90-minute weekly team update into a 10-minute review, plus ideas for daily digests, meeting recaps, and timesheet drafts, and advice on where to start.

Agentic Marketing Garage is Coming to a City Near You

Join an Agentic Marketing Garage User Group near you for a hands-on session on building with agentic AI. You'll see a multi-agent marketing workflow in action, learn how it was designed, then team up with other practitioners to design and evaluate a workflow of your own. It's a great way to move from prompting AI to designing workflows with it.

These in-person events are happening all month in cities worldwide, so find a garage near you and leave with a working agent and skills you can use right away. Don't see your city yet? Join the Agentic Marketing Garage chapter to be notified as new events are announced.

The Workfront API Explorer, Simplified

A few months ago, finding where data lived in Workfront or whether a value could be reported on meant digging through the API Explorer. Today, AI can answer many of those questions in seconds.

But when you need to validate an answer, troubleshoot a report, understand object relationships, or confirm how Workfront stores and exposes data, the API Explorer is still one of the most valuable tools available. The catch? For many admins, consultants, report builders, and Fusion practitioners, it can feel like a tool built only for developers.

That's why we created the Understanding the Workfront API Explorer guide. It explains key concepts like fields, references, collections, actions, API versioning, and field flags in plain language. Whether you have a specific question or want a deeper look at how Workfront works behind the scenes, this guide will help you navigate it with confidence.

Make the Move to Unified Review & Approvals with Confidence

Changes are coming to reviews and approvals in Workfront, and the recent 3-part event series with the Workfront Product team was designed to help you feel prepared for the transition. Each session included live demos, best practices, and a look at the product roadmap. Note that Unified Review & Approvals requires you to be on the Workfront V2 SKU. Please reach out to your Account Team with any questions.

Catch up on the full series below:

  • Unified Review & Approvals: Everything You Need to Get Started – Part 1 shows how creatives can work directly in Creative Cloud while assets, versions, and approvals stay synced. The presentation also covered AI capabilities that speed up reviews, current functionality and roadmap, and recommendations for how to transition gradually.
  • Making the Switch: Preparing for Your Move to Unified Review & Approvals - Part 2 walks through 5 (of the 10) key changes when moving from legacy Proof-based review, including the shift to Adobe Cloud Storage and Frame.io, the new Frame.io Enterprise option for creative work in progress, and an enhanced documents experience.
  • Completing Your Move to Unified Review & Approvals - Part 3 covers the remaining 5 key changes, including a phased 4-to-12-month adoption approach, technical changes to plan for (such as auditing Fusion scenarios), and how Adobe Cloud Storage connects Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign directly to Workfront assets.

Still have questions? The Product team is hosting a Q&A session on December 10. Register here and pre-submit your questions.

The Workfront Fourth Quarter Release is Here

The latest Q4 2026 Workfront release is here, bringing new ways to simplify your everyday work, speed up reviews and approvals, automate more processes, and strengthen governance. Here are a few highlights worth exploring:

  • Get work done faster with Coworker - Think of Coworker as your Workfront teammate. Ask it to help rebalance work, turn your Workfront data into useful insights, or make project changes without all the clicking. Coworker is now available right where you work, helping you move from understanding what needs attention to taking action.
  • Delegate more work to your AI Collaborators - Assign more work to AI Collaborators, keep project information up to date, and know when their work is ready for review. New built-in connectors also make it easier to bring agents such as OpenAI and IBM watsonx.
  • Review, approve, and deliver creative work faster - Review live URLs and interactive experiences, group related assets for easier approvals, and keep creative work connected across Workfront, Frame, and Creative Cloud. Plus, move to Unified Review & Approval on your terms by starting with a smaller group, validating your workflows, and expanding when you’re ready.
  • Fusion just got easier - New Fusion MCP capabilities let you interact with Fusion using natural language. You can ask about scenario executions, understand what a scenario does step by step, analyze scenarios and perform operations supported through Fusion V3 APIs. Fusion also adds automation support for Unified Approval events and grouped approvals.
