What is the sample use case for that feature?

  1. I choose the audience -  people from US.
  1. Then I choose “inner audience” for the point 1
    1. people from Texas
    2. people from Miami

I understood correctly?

Yes, correct. The logic is usually the main audience i,e the broad group eligible for the campaign and then the targeting rules / inner audiences i.e sub-groups inside that audience that receive different content, offers, or paths

Example:

  1. Main audience = People from US
  2. Inner audience / Targeting Rule 1 = People from Texas
  3. Inner audience / Targeting Rule 2 = People from Miami

So you first target all US users, then define smaller sub-groups inside that audience to show different content/offers/messages.
