ETags allow different layers of the web stack to determine whether a resource has actually changed before transferring it again, making them a powerful tool for improving performance and cache efficiency.In modern architectures where browsers, CDNs, reverse proxies, and origin applications all participate in content delivery, ETags play an important role in enabling efficient validation of cached content. Instead of repeatedly sending the same payload across the network, each layer can simply verify whether the cached representation is still valid.Despite this being a fundamental HTTP capability, many AEM implementations have historically not been able to fully benefit from ETag validation across the entire delivery stack.

Hello,we are trying to add seo schema to our page, Adobe's documentation suggests to use json-ld to author seo schema, but I am clueless on how to add it as a property to page.json. Whenever I tried to add it as a property to page.json, the content which I author in that page is being rendered as a meta tag with name property which I have defined in page.json. It is not rendering as script tag as it was mentioned in documention. Could anyone help me with this.  Thank You.

I am looking to make API calls to ACC v7 using SOAP. What permissions should the user have and where do you set these permissions.Should the instance be configured to allow SOAP Logon with an Adobe ID, or do I need a separate Technical Operator account for API calls?

I have a use case where we need the offer, for example, to start on the 1st of the month and end on the 10th.Is there a way to do this automatically without having to keep changing the validity every time?

When I'm editing or saving the audience, the condition displayed shows "current page query is not empty."However, after saving the audience and viewing it in the rules section, it appears to show the opposite condition.  

Hi all,I am using “Event grouping using session storage” feature to track activity map links in Adobe Analytics using Web SDK. (As shown below) For my Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics setup, I am using 2 send events on every page load.eventType:- decisioning.propositionFetch and "renderDecisions": true eventType :- Web Webpagedetails Page Views and "personalization": {     "defaultPersonalizationEnabled": false,     "includeRenderedPropositions": true   } so that the display event is sent for A4T purpose along with AdobeAnalytics variables (eVars, props and events).Due to this behavior, Activity Map details are getting attached on decisioning.propositionFetch server call on the subsequent page and not available in Adobe Analytics reporting. Is there any way to make the Activity Map to attach on to subsequent page view server call? I don’t want to use “No event grouping” as it increases server call usage.Thanks in advance!

Hey there!After implementing the Web SDK guided events, CJA reporting and setup are impacted by decisioning.propositionFetch events. We currently have to exclude this event type via segments to align CJA with AA, but doing so breaks Session Starts and our Internal Domains logic. Impact in CJA (we are using raw AEP data, no Adobe Analytics Source Connector): Sessions / Page Views / Session Starts  With an event-level exclusion segment (eventType = decisioning.propositionFetch):  Sessions ≈ AA Visits  Page Views ≈ AA Page Views  Session Starts much lower than AA Entries  Without the exclusion segment:  Sessions and Session Starts are higher than AA  Page Views still align with AA  At a dimension level (e.g., Canonical URL, Marketing Channel), we sometimes see Sessions > Page Views, which should not occur  Root cause: decisioning.propositionFetch fires first, so CJA treats it as the session-start event. Excluding it via segment

Assuming I have an evar1 on my site which triggers on every product page to capture the color of  the product. And assuming I had 2 visits to my site. Let’s say that the evar1 is  a regular evar, expires on visit, allocation last touch, and assuming the following scenario:  Pages visited User A - Visit #1 product page 1- color = blue evar1 is set. value = blue proudct page 2 color = red evar1 is set. value  = red product page 3 color=green evar1 is set value = green home page evar1 is not set   Pages visited User B - Visit #1 home page evar1 is not set  product page 3 color=green evar1 is set value = green marketing page A evar1 is not set marketing page B evar1 is not set       Question:​​​​​s:based on the above, if i build a report like the one below, what should i see and why? evar1 visits evar1 instances page views unspecified       blue       green       red

Hi everyone,  We’re working on creating sort of a points system within workfront to help manage capacity. We have designers input their planned hours and actual hours, but it’s hard to get everyone onboard which skews our workload balancer/tasks dashboard. I’m wondering if anyone else has created a system or workflow to help with capacity management? What we essentially would like to do is for each of our groups within workfront to get a set number of hours or points so when it reaches a certain number, they can’t request anymore projects for that month. Any suggestion or how we could implement this?? Any help would be great!

I am trying to configure a button in email such that it can redirect to multiple pages based on value of a profile attribute. For that I am trying to write if else condition. I want to get latest publish time of my aem page in publisher instance. I found out cq:lastReplicated is not available in aem cloud publisher also jcr:created is not being updated when i publish the page. And cq:lastModified only gets updated if i make some changes in page and then  publish, but i want the last publish time regardless of any changes done or not. So is there any way to get this in AEM cloud? I checked all the properties in developer console and nothing makes the match for cq:lastReplicated in author. Is there any configuration which i need to set up.
