Why Your Sling Filters Don’t Affect Asset Headers in AEMaaCS? by @daniel-strmecki Introduction When we make a request to fetch an asset from AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), our request doesn’t go straight to the AEM Publish instance. Instead, it’s handled by Adobe’s OOTB CDN, which sits in front of AEM Publisher and serves cacheable content directly from the edge. If the asset isn’t already cached, the CDN may fetch it from the cloud storage backend where AEM Assets binaries are stored. This storage layer behaves like a blob store and is fully managed by Adobe. Once retrieved, the response is cached at the CDN and served directly from there. Therefore, AEM Publisher is no longer involved in most asset delivery requests. Because of this new cloud architecture, Sling Filters or Servlets that modify response headers don’t affect CDN-served assets. We can still implement response.setHeader() inside AEM, but unless the CDN explicitly allows that header to be forwarde
I’ve noticed quite a few threads and questions in Experience League around Adobe Target Recommendations recently - and it’s no surprise, because it can be tricky to wrap your head around how everything fits together. Some of the recurring pain points I see are: Feed vs. implementation How Recs are collecting behavioural data and how it is used Balancing business rules with algorithm performance Making recommendations actually relevant for users (not just technically correct) So let’s open it up: Ask Me Anything (AMA) about Recommendations. What’s the toughest challenge you’ve had with Target Recommendations? Or, if you’ve cracked the code, what’s the one trick that made the biggest difference? I’ll share my perspective and best practices along the way — but I’d also love to hear how you are approaching it. The best insights comes from our combined experiences!
Welcome to our Monthly Hot Topics Blog! First things first – if you’ve seen our Hot Topics posts in the past, you may have noticed that this update is posted as a Blog instead of a Discussion. Why did we do that? Our hope is to make our recurring updates and our series updates easier for you to find, AND to provide a way for any “non-Sys Admins” to receive notifications when we share upcoming events and hot topic posts. How will this work? Each month we’re going to post a new Comment with all the latest events, news, and posts to (hopefully) make finding updates much easier. To make sure you get the latest, you’ll want to subscribe (and make sure to encourage your Group Admins and Power Users to subscribe too). How do you do that? Click the 3 dots in the top right of this post. (It’s called the Kebab Menu! Just learned that today!) Click Subscribe. Then relax and wait for the notifications to come in every time we add a new comment to this

Hello, I have a .csv file that feeds into my scenario and creates several new records in Salesforce. The output of the "Create new record in SF" is the ID for each newly created record. When I am testing this out:1 .csv file with 3 rows of data goes in.3 new records with ID numbers are created in Salesforce.I want the next step to be simply to create a new .csv, again with 3 rows, one for each contact and also showing the new ID number for each record. I cannot figure out where I am going wrong! The best I can get is creating 3 x csv files but I can't seem to combine them all into one place. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks CSV is parsed producing 3 bundles from the 3 rows in the file. 3 x SF records are created based on the data. Trying Array aggregator but 3 operations are still produced I want to aggreagate the 3 operations and include some data (first name, last name) from the original csv file but additionally have the ID number from the SF module
Introduction Following my blog post on tracking AI and Gen AI-generated traffic in Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), I want to share an update on OpenAI's Atlas browser and explain what this emerging technology means for your CJA implementation and analytics strategy. We're at a turning point in web browsing history. Atlas joins a growing ecosystem that includes Perplexity's Comet and The Browser Company's Dia, each offering AI-native browsing experiences that reimagine how we interact with the web. These tools represent a shift from passive browsing to active AI assistance, where agents work to understand context, execute tasks, and navigate digital experiences on our behalf. However, Atlas faces significant adoption barriers. Browser switching costs remain substantial. Users have years of accumulated preferences, bookmarks, extensions, and muscle memory invested in their current browsers. Chrome alone commands over 65% market share, with deeply entrenched user habits. Convin

I was able to publish a GLB asset (Pizza-3-Slice.glb) from AEM to Dynamic Media Classic. The asset shows as publish complete in AEM, confirming successful publishing to Dynamic Media Classic. However, I noticed the following issues:GLB not viewable in Dynamic Media Classic UIIt seems that GLB file types are not rendered or previewed directly in Dynamic Media Classic.URL behavior differencesWhen using this URL:https://s7.scene7.com/is/image/Project/content/dam/Pizza-3-Slice.glb→ The link doesn’t display anything (likely treated as an image request). When using this URL:https://s7.scene7.com/is/content/Project/content/dam/Pizza-3-Slice.glb→ The file downloads directly, but does not render in the Chrome browser. It appears that Dynamic Media Classic serves the .glb file as a downloadable binary, not with the correct Content-Type (model/gltf-binary) required for browser-based 3D rendering.Request / Input NeededAny guidance on how to properly render GLB 3D assets from Dynamic Media Classic URL

Problem Statement For certain AJO use cases, an email delivery may need to be sent, where the profile may not yet exist in AJO. As an example, let's say you are sending an order confirmation email to a new subscriber. The confirmation email needs to be sent immediately, but the customer registration went to your CRM, which might only sync to AJO daily. This could also apply to other use cases like registrations and double opt-in. If your journey uses profile data, but the profile doesn't exist yet, you won't have an email address to send to. So you'll need another method to deliver the email. Solution Overview This guide will cover how to execute an event-based delivery in a journey, which can handle both scenarios where the profile does or doesn't exist yet. As a result, you will be able to deliver an email regardless of if the profile has synced from another source like a CRM. To enable this, we will need to specify the Email Address used in the journey. While you'd usually u
Popping up different Dynamic Chat dialogues for known SFDC Contacts vs. SFDC Leads is a basic ask. It’s a smidge trickier than you might expect, though, for 2 reasons: (1) you can’t sync SFDC Type from Marketo to the DC database(2) you can’t sync SFDC Is Deleted, another key component Don’t worry, it’s still easy. Mirror SFDC Is Deleted Create a custom Boolean field SFDC Is Deleted Mirror. Keep that field updated with a simple trigger campaign: Sync SFDC Contact ID, SFDC Lead ID, and the new mirror field With the mirror field in hand, you have everything you need to reproduce SFDC Type in Dynamic Chat: Build your audience criteria Now you can match SFDC Contacts: And SFDC Leads: Not too intimidating, right?
Requirement:Currently, the Sling Distribution Forward Agents utilize the Apache Sling Distribution Packaging – Vault Package Builder Factory to export packages. However, I want to configure a custom Package Builder that can export or replicate files in their native format instead of using the Vault packaging mechanism. In other words, the goal is to export the content as-is — for example:If the file is a JSON, it should be exported as a JSON file.If it’s an HTML file, export it as HTML.If it’s an image, export it as an image. At present, the default Vault packaging exports the data in a binary (vault) format, which is not desirable for this use case.I would like to understand whether this can be achieved through configuration or if it requires a custom code implementation, so I can proceed accordingly.Currently using the default vault packaging in my forward agent :

As a Workfront admin and consultant, I've lost count of how many times I've had to explain the intricacies of Task Constraints and how each one behaves in Workfront. Chances are, so have you. Over the years, I've made a few attempts to create a task view that can coach users on which date-related fields they should edit to get predictable results in their task dates. Those attempts were inevitably not always correct due to the number of variables that can impact task scheduling. Last week I was asked to produce yet another lesson on task scheduling for a new group. I decided one more time to again try making my "dream view." This time, I did not give up. I think it paid off, and personally am really happy with the results. Knowing it can be a challenge in every instance, I've decided to share it here in hopes that it will help some of you with your own user support. The view includes Predecessor, Start, Duration, End, and Task Constraint columns that each use conditional

Hi all, I have implemented Sling Content Distribution (of type Sync Distribution) to sync nodes from one publisher to another publisher. I am using a custom trigger based on ResourceChangeListener, only looking for added events under the path /home/users/IDCS. Use case being i am only trying to sync new created users as i have enabled encapsulation token support and want to ensure newly created users are synced across publishers. I am able to sync the top level user nodes ( like /home/users/IDCS/ymk6sYtFij-x_-UkAyF_) across the publishers, How can i sync the group this user is part of in Publisher A to Publisher B, what nodes do i have to send to another publisher so the permissions are also synced?Below is the code to trigger an event to the sync Agent that i have configured called "simple-agent". package com.abc.test.core.services.impl;import java.util.HashMap;import java.util.List;import java.util.Map;import org.apache.sling.api.resource.LoginException;impo

The Show Allocation button no longer stays selected from session to session or after page refresh like it did in the past. Another in the long list of settings and UI changes that Adobe got wrong for Workfront. Adobe's AI showed me this answer, which is BS:"In recent updates, Workfront has modified how certain UI preferences are stored. The “Show Allocation” button state is now reset to its default (unselected) state when you log out or refresh the page. This change was implemented to ensure consistency across different devices and browsers. To work around this:You’ll need to re-select the “Show Allocation” button each time you log in or refresh the page.Consider bookmarking the page with the allocation view already active, if you frequently use this view."Note, the second suggested work around of Bookmarking or Pinning does not actually save the allocation setting as selected. If the “Show Allocation” button state is needing to be set as a default, then it should defaul
