Today: In the web UI, to create a new version of an existing asset, the uploaded file must have the same filename in the same folder. If the filename is different, AEM treats it as a new, separate asset, not as a version.Desired behaviour:New versions of an asset can be added regardless of the file name, e.g. by selecting the asset and clicking “add new version”.Reasoning:Updated files often come with new names but should still be stored as versions of existing assets. E.g. if a legacy asset was uploaded (or migrated from our old DAM) with the file name: coporate-presentation-2022-v1.ppt, I want to be able to upload a new version that is called hbk-coporate-presentation-2026.ppt We are not starting a DAM from scratch or renaming 30,000 files. That means that even though we can update to newer versions in AEM Assets, any errors, bad naming or typos in old file names get carried over into the new version. When users download the updated file, it has the file name of the first version, e.
Hello, we want to send gift vouchers to the winners of our prize competition with transactional emails. There is a possibility that some Clients may have won multiple prizes, so we need to send them several emails with different gift vouchers at the same email address. We have an Excel file with the target email addresses and the relative gift vouchers. In this file there are duplicated ids. We want to upload the file and make sure that Adobe Journey Optimizer sends multiple emails to the same duplicated ID/Addresses, each with its own gift voucher. The Excel file looks like this:In this example, ID 0000805085 needs to receive 2 emails, one with gift voucher 23A and one with 24B, at the same email address. How can we do this with Adobe Journey Optimizer in one single Journey?Thank you very much for your support Joseph
Hi everyone,We’re currently re-warming a subdomain that was previously warmed in Aug–Sep 2025, after a period of low volume.Since ramping up again (Feb), we’re seeing many Gmail bounces due to timeouts, classified as “Ignored” (not hard or soft). We also noticed the subdomain has DMARC set to p=none.Could this be impacting Gmail deliverability? Any recommendations to improve reputation during re-warming? Is there a way in delivery logs to see the exact gmail bounce reason? something like this: https://knowledge.workspace.google.com/admin/support/troubleshooting/gmail-smtp-errors-and-codes?hl=en&visit_id=639100432066783742-50066658&rd=1Thanks!
One of our clients requires the use of a CTA URL that includes a hashed (#) parameter (anchor link) to enable specific functionality on the website, such as scrolling to a particular section. However, when the EDM is sent via ACS, the Brand configuration automatically appends tracking parameters (e.g., brand, deliveryId) to the URL. Currently, these tracking parameters are being added after the hash (#) fragment.Example:Authored URL:https://abc.xyz#paramX URL generated by ACS (current behavior):https://abc.xyz#paramX?brand=xxx&deliveryId=YYYThis format causes an issue because anything appended after the # fragment is treated as part of the client-side anchor and is not processed as query parameters. As a result, both tracking and the intended anchor-based functionality (e.g., scrolling to a specific section) may break.Expected / Ideal Behavior:To ensure both tracking and website functionality work correctly, the query parameters should be placed before the hash fragment.Correct form
Dear community leaders,Some data is coming from inbound transition in string format, but I need to dynamically insert this data for the relevant recipient in the eDM.EX:If there is no value in the decimal places (ie, 432,897.0000), it should be display the data by removing the decimal places - eg, 432,897 or 1,234,987.If there is some value in the decimal places (ie, 432,897.5000), we keep two decimal places. Display the data into the decimal values. Eg, 432,897.50 or 2,654,684.90. Advanced thanks

Hi everyone,I am working on extending the AEM Rich Text Editor (RTE) to add custom functionality for tables. Specifically, I want to add two buttons to the table toolbar: Cell Background Color (origintable#cellbg) Cell CSS Class (origintable#cellclass) I have implemented a custom Plugin and Command using CUI.rte.plugins.Plugin and CUI.rte.commands.Command. While the current implementation works using window.prompt, I would like to know if this approach is considered "best practice" or if there are more "AEM-native" ways to handle this (e.g., using Coral UI dialogs instead of browser prompts).Current Implementation Details: Plugin Registration: Using CUI.rte.plugins.PluginRegistry.register. UI Initialization: Adding elements to the tableEditOptions toolbar via tbGenerator.addElement. Data Persistence: Manually triggering the change event on the editable container after updating the DOM via jQuery. Code Snippets:1. Plugin Logic (cell-bg-plugin.js):(function ($, CUI) { 'use stric
We discontinued supporting one of the website and even disabled the launch property build. But still some other unexpected(uncovered from collected data) websites sending the traffic to that report suite. As the other websites/current scripts it’s beyond our reach, we have no option to control the scripts itself. So is there a way to make the payloads fail at browser level for specific report suite from Admin or from Adobe, on report suite basis? Appreciate your inputs. Again, VISTA, BOTS, aborting the calls, invalidating s object doesn’t helps as we can’t access the scripts nor just exclude hits, we completely want to stop ANY/ALL calls to that report suite ID to avoid cost.
We'd like to have the option to apply contouring (i.e. edit the distribution of the allocated hours per day/week/month) to tasks & issues in the "Unassigned Work" section of WLB. The UI would be the same as that in the Assigned Work section. A task's resource needs fluctuate during the span of the task and it is often known before a user is assigned but can't be captured via the Workload Balancer UI at the moment. This would make resource planning easier and more real-life.
With the newest updates to the Learn area for Workfront, I'm wondering if anyone has put together any training plans to make the data a more cohesive flow. Examples: Getting to know Workfront Workfront for Workers Workfront for Planners Workfront for Admins Workfront for collaborators/requesters/reviewers I previously had one, but all the links are broken so looking for fresh ideas before I rebuild.
Dragging the lefthand edge of the first metric column in a freeform table no longer proportionally scales the width of ALL columns at the same time and instead only impacts that SINGLE column. You then need to change the width of every column individually. While the new behaviour can be useful, the original behaviour was easier to use.My suggestion is to revert back to the original behaviour where all column widths are scaled when you click and drag the lefthand edge, but maybe add a modifier key (Shift, Ctrl, etc) to just change the width of a single column.
I’m trying to create a segment that has condition for ‘From this date’ but am struggling to find that. Scenario: We capture the product a customer buys and have a custom metric that measures the % of visits that upgraded this product in session. We’ve extended this product tracking to another brand so want to add to the same metric, however existing sales are bringing this down. Metric is:Brand has upgrade option (Customer Upgraded (Orders) / Orders )Brand A has had product tracking all year, Brand B only had product tracking added this week but had order tracking all year. I need to add a date measure for Brand B with in my ‘Brand has upgrade option’ segment so the existing orders don’t dilute my metric before the tracking was added….
Stumped on a particular challenge regarding issue approvals. I have a use case where a particular issue type needs to route to a group of approximately 10-12 senior leaders for sign off (think traditional executive stage gate process.). All are expected to review simultaneously, as staging the reviews exec by exec would be time-prohibitive. The challenge here is that if even one person rejects, the approval workflow halts, possibly before all stakeholders have had a chance to review. And re-engaging the workflow starts over and requires that everyone review again (which would normally make sense, but in this case, is not desired.) The process owner would ideally like to capture all decisions (approvals and rejections) and then, if a consensus isn’t reached, escalate to higher level decision-maker. The only workaround I’ve come up with is to leverage a custom form to capture individual decisions rather than using the automated workflow. But that obviously comes with some serious
Those who regularly attend the CS Scale webinars know this topic occasionally comes up, but I’d like to crowdsource here: What are the pros and cons of allowing users to copy projects? Currently copying projects is prohibited in our instance, but I have project managers begging me to allow copying. I promised I would re-evaluate. I’m asking y’all to get into the weeds so my PMS better understand what they’re getting into:What junk comes with copying projects? Think about both the PM and system admin. If we allow copying, what are the best practices for keeping copied projects clean? What are the alternate approaches? I’ll start:What junk comes with copying projects? You can opt out of copying a bunch of things, which seems to solve a lot of this problem, but it comes with other problems:When you clear Assignments, it also removes job roles. When you clear Documents, it also clears folder structures. (Consider these neutral/dependent on your governance) Whether you like it or not, copyin
Description: The current process for updating the calculation within an existing calculated form field requires a highly manual and time-consuming workflow. This involves removing the field from every form where it's used, saving each form, then re-adding the field to each form, re-entering the calculation, and saving again. Why is this feature important to you? This feature is critical for efficiency and accuracy. The current manual process is extremely time-consuming, especially given that we have approximately 30 active and 30 inactive forms that utilize these fields. This creates a significant administrative burden and increases the risk of errors during the re-entry process. Automating this would free up valuable time and ensure consistent application of calculations across all relevant forms. How would you like the feature to work? Ideally, there would be a more streamlined method to manage calculated custom form fields. This could involve:Bulk Field Management: The ability to bulk
Hello - Does the priorities table in Workfront Home display items (tasks) only when the project status is set to current, and not show them when the status is planning? Can someone confirm please?
We are all unable to login to marketo this morning and continuously getting this error: No-ones instance is working and unable to log a support ticket. Can anyone help?
Is there a way to add a default value to a hidden field only if the field is blank in the database? So if the person is a known record, the hidden field should get the default value only if it didn’t have a recorded value initially. If there was a recorded value initially, it should not be overwritten by the default value.
Dear All ,We have implemented Livestream API data pull to get the data in real time into our Data Lake using Java pipeline. Since last 6 months we have been facing issues. When we start the Job the maximum connections are set to 8 using parameter “?maxConnections=8” in the API URL.But after 1-2 weeks the connections drop to 4 or sometime even to zero. This leads to data latency into our reports. In order to mitigate, when we re-start the Job, connection are set back to 8 again. This cycle repeats. As its pain to re-start Job every 1-2 weeks. We want to build Auto reconnect logic into our Java code, so that if connections drop, it automatically reconnect and we do not need to re-start the Job.If anybody has come across this issue, please share Any documentation or reference to build re-connect logic.Thank you.Sanjay
Hello - On a WF custom request form, I am trying to create a calculated field that totals the values generated in other calculated fields. If it matters, the other calculated fields plus corresponding fill-in fields for quantity entries are set to display only when a selection is made from a separate dropdown field. For the other calculated fields, I am multiplying the quantity entries by specific numbers using the PROD expression: e.g., PROD({DE:Ad or Graphic Qty},100)So, the user selects one or more choices from a dropdown field (e.g., Ad or Graphic)A new field/fields then displays to enter a quantity for the selected option (Ad or Graphic Qty - this field formatted as a number). The PROD calculated field (Ad or Graphic Cost - also formatted as a number) also then displays. This calculated field works as expected. The last calculated field is set up to SUM all of the previous calculated fields, but the number always comes up as 0: e.g., SUM({DE:Ad or Graphic Cost}, {DE:Banner-Std Co
Is this a bug……...I’m seeing that if a collapsed form is never “opened”, even if there are required fields in the custom form, you can submit the form. In essence the required fields are not holding true.
Hi all,Looking for an experienced Fusion Developer to support automation and integration efforts. Thanks
