Hello,I'm testing the Adobe Analytics Activity Map browser extension and I've noticed that some links/buttons are not showing any clicks in the overlay. For example, one standard Add to cart button appears in Activity Map, while another button (Add 2 items to cart) is displayed in the overlay (“Links On Page” Table from the extension) but always shows 0 clicks, despite being clicked during testing.I've already verified that:Both interactions send an Adobe Web SDK (/ee/v1/interact) request. Both send a commerce.productListAdds event. Neither request appears to contain webInteraction or Activity Map-specific data. The issue I'm referring to is only with the Activity Map browser extension, not the Activity Map dimensions in Analysis Workspace. Is there any known limitation or configuration required for Activity Map to recognize certain buttons (for example, JavaScript buttons versus standard form buttons)? Are there any specific Web SDK or Adobe Tags settings that should be enabled?I know
Adobe will stop supporting Batch Audiences in the Audience qualification start to a journey, and wants either streaming audiences (so 24 hour period max) or use of the read audience start. That means a read audience can’t determine which are new profiles in the audience and just sends to everyone in the audience, which just doesn’t work, or we need to define the audience in batch with very defined limits and have exclusions of people who have been messaged, which is not practical. Campaigns have an iterative type of read to process only new profiles entering the audience, journeys dont. And campaigns arent an option for Whatsapp or logic around comms segmentation Are there any work arounds that anyone has put in place to negate the potential issues here? I really feel this is a very ill advised change to something that was working very well.
We are experiencing an issue in our AEM as a Cloud Service environment where non-admin authors are unable to use standard publishing due to an implicit system path reference. When a user attempts to publish a content page, the replication payload automatically appends a reference to the legacy system path /libs/settings/wcm/designs/default/jcr:content. Because /libs is immutable and standard users lack crx:replicate permissions at the root/libs level, the replication engine blocks the direct publish and routes the payload to the default request_for_activation workflow. To isolate this issue, we created a dedicated test user and explicitly granted them jcr:all permissions on the following paths:/var & /content/dam/mygps/en/pi & /content/mygps/us/en/pi (Plus standard jcr:read on root /) Despite having full jcr:all (which includes read, write, and replicate) across all relevant content and variable directories, this test user still triggers the approval workflow. The replication
We are investigating unexpected email click-count behavior in Adobe Journey Optimizer and Customer Journey Analytics. For one email recipient, CJA displays:61 Total Clicks 1 Unique ClickThe profile’s email interaction data contains 20 message.tracking click events associated with the same profile, message execution, batch instance, campaign, and message. Here are some findings from within those records. Each click event has a different event _id. There are 19 distinct link labels and urlID values. The recorded links include buttons, ticket links, social links, app-store links, an Add to Calendar link, and other destinations throughout the email. All 20 events occurred between 22:38:45.166 and 22:38:46.383, a period of approximately 1.2 seconds. One link was recorded twice; the remaining events represent different links. Every event has "isBot": falseWe also reviewed the HTML used for the send. The links are represented as separate anchor elements, and the buttons reviewed do not contain
Hi,There was a task to publish the assets after property update. By mistake I published the assets that were deactivated before. Is it possible to get the list of assets that were deactivated before and activated now due to my automation. Does it store somewhere. Please help me if there’s any solution for this? Thanks
Hey Community! 👋If you’ve been looking for a dedicated tool like add_smart_list_rule_constraint in the Marketo MCP server to update the existing or a new smart list by applying the “Add Constraints” you won't find it listed in tool searches in the Marketo Engage MCP operations list. However, the capability is fully functional and easy to use it’s just absorbed into update_smart_list_rule. 🔍 How It Works Behind the Scenes There is no separate callable tool for constraints. add_smart_list_rule - Creates the rule shell. update_smart_list_rule - Handles the constraint via its constraints array parameter. 📌 Important Note: While the Marketo UI allows empty constraint values, the Marketo API requires at least one value when saving. Passing a default value (like 'Web service API') satisfies the API requirement and can easily be updated later!Has anyone else been experimenting with the Marketo MCP server? Let me know in the comments! 👇Take a look on the discussion I had with the Claude
We have a connector set up from Guides to our translation vendor, Propio. We send 9 languages at once. Most of the languages are imported back in without an issue. For one language, we can see in the Translation Project that all the files have been translated. However, when I go back to Assets or Guides some of the dita topic don’t seem to be working. The Title in Assets says “null” and when I open the topic, it’s just a blank screen. Other topics are working. I couldn’t find a common denominator for topics that aren’t working. There are some folders where none of the topics are working, but others were some work and some don’t.Has anyone had this issue, and if so how did you resolve it? Adobe has suggested sending only one language at a time, but we have 9 standard languages that we have to translate each document into, and sending one at a time is not feasible.
How are organization planning for changes to AJO platform which take you by surprise? Are there any pre-release notes that your Account Manager shares a month before new releases? Or is a there a release plan that you have aligned with your Account Manager so that new releases are first done in DEV environment and then pushed to PROD a week or so later.
Hi everyone,I'm brand new to Workfront Fusion and recently completed the Fusion training courses. Our team is trying to connect Workfront Fusion to our Workfront Preview environment so we can build and test scenarios before moving them to Production.I've successfully created an OAuth application and generated a Client ID and Client Secret, but I'm getting stuck during the authentication setup. When I use the Preview domain, I receive an error indicating the application can't be found, and I've also run into issues determining the correct domain and redirect URL to use for the Preview environment.I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple, but after spending quite a bit of time troubleshooting, I'm stuck and would appreciate any guidance from someone who has successfully connected Fusion to a Workfront Preview instance.Any tips, screenshots, or examples of a working setup would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
One of the challenges we're trying to address is the amount of manual effort required for users to complete and submit multiple intake forms in Workfront at a time. To help streamline this process, we are exploring a solution that would leverage a custom web service and Workfront APIs to help automate the completion and submission of custom forms. The goal is to enable users to submit multiple intake requests programmatically while still adhering to the business rules and user experience defined within the Workfront custom forms. As part of an enhancement feature, would it be possible to allow API access to the display logic (e.g., cascading rules/conditional visibility) and/or other methods to retrieve the display logic within the custom intake forms?
Under the Hood: Comparing the Official MCP Toolset to the REST APII’ve lived and breathed the Marketo REST API for years. In fact, I was so deep in the weeds that I actually built my own custom Marketo MCP before the official one existed. Back then, I was limited strictly to standard REST endpoints, since that was the only systematic way to work within in Marketo. So, when I finally got my hands on the official beta, I was dying to know: how does this new AI toolset actually stack up against the "old reliable" REST API?Whether you’re looking to supercharge an AI assistant for your team or just trying to figure out which integration path won’t break your workflow, understanding these gaps is huge. Let's dive into where they overlap, where the REST API still reigns supreme, and those cool spots where the MCP pulls off tricks the REST API can’t do at all.Just a heads-up: all of this is "as of now." Since the MCP is currently in beta, things can, and most likely will, change. Knowing the a
Canvas Dashboards are more than just another reporting option in Adobe Workfront. They offer a powerful way to visualize, understand, and take action on your work. However, since they function differently from traditional reports, many teams either avoid using them or never fully realize their potential.View the interactive, practitioner-focused session featuring Skye Hansen, Lead Functional Architect at Merkle, and Matt Mitchell, Principal Product Manager at Adobe. Discover how to use Canvas Dashboards effectively with clear, practical guidance, without getting bogged down in configuration details.Skye and Matt will explain how Canvas Dashboards fit into the broader Workfront reporting landscape, highlight their advantages over other report types, and show you how to build dashboards that people actually use. Specifically, you’ll learn:How Canvas Dashboards integrate with the Workfront reporting landscape and the unique capabilities they offer beyond standard reports and dashboards. W
Hi Community,I have been exploring the Marketo Engage MCP (Model Context Protocol) server to automate and perform operations using AI assistants, and I ran into something worth discussing.I tried to perform operations using the following 14 tools that are officially listed on Adobe's documentation page:🔗 Marketo Engage MCP Operations: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/marketo-developer/marketo/mcp-server-operations Here are the 14 tools I attempted to use:📋 Forms1. delete_form2. delete_form_field3. delete_field_from_fieldset4. discard_form_draft 📋 Programs5. delete_program_tag6. unapprove_program 📋 Smart Lists7. delete_all_smart_list_rules8. remove_smart_list_rule_constraint 📋 Snippets9. delete_snippet10. discard_snippet_draft11. unapprove_snippet 📋 Tokens12. delete_token 📋 Static Lists13. remove_from_list 📋 Folders14. delete_folder❌ The ProblemI tried to perform all of the above operations with the help of these tools through Claude MCP and attempted to execute each o
Dear AEM Community, Can you please help with a query to find out which assets my users have ‘checked out’ of the DAM? I know there are quite a few but I don’t know what they are unless I randomly encounter them. The query I’m trying to run is:path=/content/dam&type=dam:Asset&property=jcr:content/jcr:isCheckedOut&property.value=true&p.limit=-1 However I get no results with this. I also get no results with if I replace the property with property=jcr:content/jcr:lockOwner What am I doing wrong? Many thanksChris
Update (September 2026): Detach and Rejoin each now have a second(improved) way to trigger them — Detach edge is available directly from the "+" menu, and rejoining can be done with Select from canvas instead of searching a list. See the updated sections below. What We're Hearing? Since rolling out the new canvas experience, one piece of feedback has come up more than any other: connecting and rearranging nodes feels harder than it used to. "I'm unable to select and move a branch." · "Once I disconnect the in-between node, I cannot connect it again." · "Joining nodes is harder in the new experience." The common thread across these comments is drag-and-drop. In the previous canvas, you could grab a node and physically drag it onto a connection point to rewire your journey. The new canvas — rebuilt for better performance and a cleaner layout — replaces that single drag gesture with two explicit actions: Detach and Join. They're not hidden, but they also don't look like what you're used t
It’s great to see Marketo finally getting a makeover to some degree.I’m keen to understand:will this makeover will be platform-wide - ie all areas of the UI will be refreshed/optimised? will there be a dark-mode? will we be able to expand the view of advanced filters or be able to view the logic next to each filter? will we be able to copy/duplicate filters?
With the announcement of the beta program to leverage an MCP server to your preferred AI tools, I was curious if any users have started to leverage this for their organizations yet? I am looking forward to trying the beta but need to receive signoff from our internal teams before we get the greenlight.
I created a custom destination using Adobe Experience Platform Destination SDK. The destination activates audience data from AEP to a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Data Extension. As part of the activation, we need to send the AEP audience/segment name displayed in the AEP UI to SFMC. We do not want to send the mapping ID or segment ID.I found documentation and examples for passing the segment ID, but I could not find a supported parameter for passing the segment name.Could someone clarify: Is the AEP audience/segment name available to a custom destination during activation? If so, which Destination SDK field or transformation macro should be used? Can the segment name be included as a column in each activated record sent to the SFMC Data Extension? If this is not supported directly, what is the recommended approach for resolving the segment ID to the audience name? Any configuration or payload examples would be appreciated.
Has anyone figured out a way to remove or hide the Frescopa Sample Workspaces from all users in Planning? Support is saying there is no way to delete and to submit it as an idea but I wanted to see if anyone had any workarounds. I can see it causing major confusion to our new users as we role this out when they try to add a new connected column and are overloaded with Frescopa Marketing fields.
We are using a common footer fragment across multiple email templates. The footer receives a variable (welcomeText) from the email template and renders it using triple braces ({{{welcomeText}}}).When the variable contains HTML tags such as <br>, <sup>, <b>, or <p>, the email validates successfully. However, when the variable contains an HTML anchor (<a href="...">...</a>), the email validation fails with the error:welcomeText of email variant is malformed Steps to ReproduceCreate a variable in an email template: {% let welcomeText = "<a href='https://google.com'>Google</a>" %} Render the variable in the email or fragment: {{{welcomeText}}} Validate or save the email. Hi everyone,I'm hoping someone has come across this before. We've built an email template using the new Adobe Email Designer with several 2:2 content modules (icon, headline and body copy). The template works perfectly in both light mode and dark mode as long as we don’t change the icons. We can create emails from the template and everything renders exactly as expected. The issue starts when we replace the icons. As soon as we update an icon (including using the Dark Mode image setting in the right-hand panel), dark mode starts behaving incorrectly. Instead of replacing the original icon, we see both the old and new icons rendered in dark mode, typically with one stacked directly above the other. In some cases the duplicate icon is also out of alignment with the headline and body copy, causing the layout of the 2:2 module to break. What's even more concerning is that once this happens, reverting the icon change doesn't restore the template. The duplicate/new icon behaviour persists, even a
Hello, I’m trying to create a Journey using a Read Audience going into an Email. I am trying to only have the profile continue if they click on a specific CTA in the email. I created an Rule Based Event where I look for a click and Label However when I run the Journey and Click the email, I do not get the desired result of the second Email. I’ve even tried adding a Reaction Event and then see if the above event triggers and I get nothing, But when I run a query in the ActionID - I can see clicks and Label. I need to have some assistance figuring this out since this is necessary for a few more reactions I will have in the Journey, What am I doing wrong? How can I correct this Journey?
Description - Before the migration to Adobe console, we were able to have two email addresses associated to each Workfront account. One email (FedID) is what our users used to login through SSO and the other (Username) is where their email notifications from Workfront went. With console this is now no longer possible and support has been unable to suggest a workaround. Would love to see this functionality restored! Why is this feature important to you - Some of our users need their notifications routed to a shared inbox for coverage purposes/so it is easy to jump in and help each other with workloads. How would you like the feature to work - I would like to be able to have a field on the user profile again where I can input an email to send Workfront notifications to. Current Behavior - Functionality no longer exists.
