Failed data ingestion - email notification
If scheduled batch data ingestion fails is there a way to schedule an email notification?
Hi
Yes. If the ingestion is configured as a scheduled batch source dataflow in Adobe Experience Platform, you can subscribe to the Sources Flow Run Failure alert.
To configure it:
- Go to Sources > Dataflows.
- For a new dataflow, enable Sources Flow Run Failure in the Dataflow details step.
- For an existing dataflow, select the three-dot menu (...) > Subscribe alerts, select Sources Flow Run Failure, and click Save.
- To receive the alert by email, open your Adobe Experience Cloud Profile > Preferences > Notifications, subscribe to Experience Platform notifications, select Email, and set the frequency to Instant.
The alert is available for batch sources. Streaming sources are currently not supported by the Sources Flow Run Failure alert. You can also review the alert from the notification bell inside the Experience Platform UI.
