Unified Review & Approval - Fusion Connection

Hi,

what module do you use in Fusion to get a decision when it’s made on a new Unified Review & Approval document? I cannot find it in a regular Workfront Watch Events module nor in the dedicated Unified Review & Approval module.

Great question, here is what i found:
 

Hi! There currently isn’t a native Fusion trigger for decisions made in the new Unified Review & Approval experience. The dedicated connector provides actions and searches, but no instant decision trigger; Proof Approval in Workfront > Watch Events applies only to legacy Workfront Proof.

For real-time processing, create a Fusion Custom Webhook and register it through the Workfront Event Subscription API, subscribing to Approval Stage Participant for individual decisions or Approval for the overall outcome. Alternatively, run a scheduled scenario that polls approval details and checks for changes to the decision status or date.

I will check with engineering if we can add a watch event into the connector but the HTTP should work.

Hi Taylor,

Thanks for sharing. I think a scheduled scenario may be a good interim approach, until the Watch Event connector becomes available.
