tl;dr: You gotta use the API to use the API. When browsing Marketing Activities, you’ll see the URL change to reflect Program IDs, Static List IDs, and Smart Campaign IDs:.../marketo-engage/classic/PG3350A1.../marketo-engage/classic/ST6331A1LA1.../marketo-engage/classic/SC9850A1ZN19In these cases, the first sequence of contiguous digits in the last path segment is the asset ID and can be used in the API. Above, you see Program ID 3350, Static List ID 6331, and Smart Campaign 9850. The structure works for Smart Lists as well. Other asset types like Forms and Emails also have their IDs in the URL. Not Campaign Folders, though!Selecting a Campaign Folder shows a tempting URL structure —.../marketo-engage/classic/MF2421A1— leading you to think the Folder ID is 2421. Nope, in this case 2421 is the “tree node” ID, which is a UI thing only. It’s not the same as the REST API Folder ID, which reflects the persistent structure in the database. Worse, the actual Folder ID 2421 can be located some
In reading through some previous questions/answers, I think I'm understanding that the actual pdf proof is compressed or flattened into an image in the proofing tool. This is causing a major issue for us with a company-wide campaign. Our design has layers of transparencies and once it's uploaded into Workfront Proof, that image is altered and looks terrible. That proof, in the proofing tool, is what our end user must approve and it's just not accurate. We spend a tremendous amount of time dealing with this. If you can't view the proof how it's intended to look, then what's the reason for using the proofing tool at all. Does anyone else struggle with this? I would love to hear what your workarounds are. Is there anything we can be doing differently for this to look accurate once uploaded into the proofing tool. Are there settings in the pdf output that our designers should be using to remedy this situation. Is there anything within the our instance that can be changed by Adobe support t
Modern browsers use the back/forward cache (“bfcache”) to accelerate simple ⇦ and ⇨ navigation. Confusingly, the bfcache is different from both the classic HTTP cache and the new Cache API, and its impact on 3rd-party JS isn’t widely measured. The bfcache is dynamically managed and cleaned up by the browser: it doesn’t have user-tweakable settings and can’t be directly turned off. There are also lots of different reasons that the same page might be bfcache-able on one visit but not on the next. This all gives the bfcache a black-box vibe. But the bfcache usually leads only to Good Things™ so people don’t worry about it, aside from some devs trying to make sites as bfcache-able as possible. Interestingly, Munchkin’s backward compatibility (pageview and link tracking still work with old browsers) conflicts with the bfcache design. This wasn’t deliberate, of course, but the product of different goals. In this recording, check out when visitWebPage and clickLink events stop being sent to M

Hi everyone,I am migrating an AEM Forms (ICC) project to AEM as a Cloud Service. My bundle is failing to start and remains in the "Installed" state due to a dependency conflict. The Error: Looking at the bundle status in the Cloud console, I see the following mismatch:The Server provides: com.adobe.aem.forms.ic.print.api.PrintChannelRenderService My Bundle requires: com.adobe.fd.ccm.channels.print.api.service.PrintChannelServiceThe Blocker: I need to update my Java code to use the new com.adobe.aem.forms package names. However, I am unable to find the correct Maven dependency/library to include in my project. I have tried adding aem-forms-sdk-api to my pom.xml, but Maven returns a "Not Found" error for the artifact in the Adobe public repository (https://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public).Questions:What is the correct Maven dependency and version to use for AEM Forms Cloud Service to access the com.adobe.aem.forms.ic.print.api package? Is there a specific repository I should be

I have just had my first experience of the new experience for the first time. To say it is a retrograde step is an understatement. There now appears to be no option to remove all assignees from a task without manually removing everybody by deleting them and it doesn't have the option to assign a different number of hours to individuals on the same task, thus creating extra work in having to duplicate for each assignee if you want to give them different number of hours. This really breaks a huge part of our work and processes.

Validating analytics on Mobile SDK with the XDM schema format has been extremely challenging to test mobile app analytics. What used to take us 2 minutes to validate analytics using track state and track actions is now taking us close to 30+ minutes to validate analytics. Would there be a way to add in AEP calls if the call was a web interaction vs web page details like we have in the Adobe Experience Debugger?
Thanks to everyone that participated in our first event of the year for our WUG Colorado chapter. We had a great conversation and lots of discussion around how changes in our workflows and environments are the norm and how can we plan for the changes. You’ll find below both a link to the recording of the session and the slides that we presented. There was fantastic dialog regarding the 4 step process we covered for planning your change but also how it relates to projects that many of us are beginning to undertake this year, namely the integration of AEM Assets to your Workfront environment and how folks are setting up that workflow. (There were 3 or 4 of us on the call that are all in the midst of starting this integration work). We’ll look to make this a topic in an upcoming event.Link to the deckLink to the Recording
Hello,Is it possible to add a custom form to a dashboard? The custom form needs to be editable since people will have to fill it out and I also need to be able to download it as a pdf file. I am also open to add it via an external file, btw.The dashboard would be potentially linked to a project (ideally, I want to use this dashboard on all my projects without overwriting information).Asking this because I'm trying to find a workaround to make the form editable for teammates who don't have a Standard licence and also to review my whole workflow.Thank you!
When doing RAW ingestion via the HTTP API Streaming Source Connector, a source field can be mappend to multiple target field. However, there is no option to condition the mapping based on the value of the field. A case in point. If value of source field A eqauls yes, map to target field Aif value of source field A equals no, map to target field BThis cannot, to my understand, be done via calculated fields either, as you can only do if statements manipulating the value of said field, but not the mapping itself.
My idea is for Workfront to allow users the option to control the Landing Page they see. At this time, a Workfront Layout Template determines a user’s Landing Page upon login. In an effort to minimize the number of Layout Template, we have created Layout Templates by access and persona rather than by specific accounts. Therefore, most or our layout templates have Workfront Home selected as the landing page. Many teams would prefer that Workfront opens on a specific team dashboard upon login instead of Workfront Home. However, since we have over 50 accounts and a handful of Workfront personas (Discipline Lead, Project Manager, Resource Manager, Worker, Requestor, etc.), creating custom layout templates for each team by persona would be unwieldy with 250+ Layout Templates. We have let users know that they can Pin their team dashboard but it still requires a couple of clicks versus opening the team dashboard upon login. It would be great to offer users the ability to set their preferred W
Leveraging AI Translation Tools in AEM: Example using DeepL? by @daniel-strmecki IntroductionAI-powered translation has undergone significant improvements over the past few years. What once produced awkward, literal results has evolved into language output that is often remarkably fluent and context-aware. For many use cases, modern AI translations are already close to perfect.Still, close to perfect is not the same as ready to publish. Brand tone, domain-specific wording, legal nuances, and SEO considerations mean that manual review is still required before publication. The real breakthrough of AI translation is therefore not full automation, but the speed gains. Modern AI translation tools enable teams to generate high-quality drafts in seconds instead of days, shifting human effort from translation to review and refinement. For Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) projects, especially large multi-language enterprise websites, this change has a massive impact as it can save significant tim
Currently, if you delete an asset via new Assets UI [1] this will end up in the trash folder. From here, you are able to restore it easily.Although CF are stored below /content/dam this functionality is not there for CF! Why is that. CF are holding same important content (maybe more if delivered to different channels) like an asset. Why does Adobe not offer the function? Please implement the restore functionality for CF!
Based on current client feedback, I am requesting we have at minimum Portfolios/Programs - if not all work Objects - added to the “Recently Deleted” function in Workfront. This is causing some issues as we automate processes clean up Workfront. Would love to see this added to the product roadmap!
Dynamic Page Publishing in AEM Edge Delivery with BYOM and App Builder by Lars Auffarth Introduction Bring Your Own Markup (BYOM) is a powerful feature of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Edge Delivery Services that allows you to programmatically generate HTML pages from a dynamic HTTP endpoint. Rather than relying on authored content or documents, BYOM enables automated page rendering from APIs, product databases, or other backend systems - while still using the same semantic blocks and styling shared across your AEM site. In this post, we’ll explain how BYOM works, how it fits into the AEM Edge Delivery Services rendering pipeline, and how to integrate it cleanly using Adobe App Builder. Key Points BYOM is ideal for building dynamic, API-driven pages in AEM Edge Delivery Services - without sacrificing performance or consistency. In this post, we’ll walk through: What BYOM is and how to think of it as an “HTML API” How BYOM fits into the Edge Delivery Services publication fl
Hi Community, I want to define a rule in the cdn.yaml using the origin selector as described in the documentation https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/content-delivery/cdn-configuring-traffic#origin-selectors that would route the traffic for a particular path to an external website (www.website.com).Something similar to originSelectors: rules: - name: blogs when: allOf: - reqProperty: tier equals: publish - reqProperty: domain equals: <our domain> - reqProperty: path matches: "^/en-us/prefix/.*"However, prior the routing I want to manipulate the path, so the /prefix part is eliminated and for the /en-us/prefix/page path it would send a request to www.website.com/en-us/page.We have this logic working at the dispatcher tier using the ProxyPass directive. I am trying to understand if the same logic can be handled at the cdn level. Regards,Rustam
Busy MOps teams use a URL builder to manage tracking params (and sometimes for add-to-calendar URLs and other areas). They have a UI like this: And generate a copy-and-pasteable URL like this:https://www.example.com/landingpage?baseparam1=value1&utm_campaign=nosferatrix-or-treat-2025&utm_medium=email&utm_source=marketo&utm_content=logo&utm_term=defaultSometimes they’re built using Excel or a Google Sheet (ugh) instead of a separate web app, but the idea is the same.Problem: most such builders have at least one fatal bug. They do not properly support Marketo {{dotted.token}} syntax in query param values. This is bad, since tokens are a huge operational benefit on their own. Let’s say you want to use the built-in {{campaign.Name}} as the utm_campaign value: A naïve URL builder will mistakenly think {{campaign.Name}} is a literal value, as opposed to an interpolated variable, and will URL-encode it, breaking the URL in Marketo:https://www.example.com/landingpage?basepa

I created a graphql endpoint for my content fragment and it is working fine in author/publisher/dispatcher. Now I am trying to setup cache rule for the AEM persisted query.
