Hi We are not allowed to store the password in plain text on our instances under the following path:crx-quickstart/install/org.apache.felix.webconsole.internal.servlet.OsgiManager.cfg.json.We attempted to encrypt the password using /system/console/crypto and replaced the paintext value in the configuration with the new encrypted one. However, AEM does not appear to decrypt this value at startup and authenication falls back to the default admin/admin credentials. Is there a supported way to securerly store the Web Console credentials for this boot-time configuration without using plaintext? If not, what is Adobe’s recommended approach for environments where plaintest passwords are prohibited? Thanks!
Hello, I’m working through the Adobe Analytics Workspace certification training and noticed what may be an issue in one of the Fallout tutorial videos. The same wording appears in the video and in the transcript, so I wanted to check whether I’m interpreting it correctly or if the tutorial may need an update.“The blue portion of the bar shows the percentage of visitors who fell through and performed the next action, whereas the gray section of the bar shows the percentage of the visitors who did not. And this is all against the total of visitors who arrived at the first touchpoint.”My understanding is that the gray portion is against the previous step. That is what works out mathematically. Can someone confirm whether this is an error in the tutorial, or if I’m missing something in how Fallout is being explained? Thanks.
Hi everyone, I’m running into an issue with Adobe Analytics on our mobile app and hoping someone can clarify whether this is expected behavior or a configuration gap. We’ve noticed that on certain flows, when a user completes a purchase and lands on the Purchase Confirmation page, if they suspend the app immediately (background the app, switch apps, lock the device, etc.), our Track State and Track Action calls for the confirmation step do not fire. This is causing a measurable drop in attribution — we’re missing at least ~20 confirmed customers per day because the confirmation events never reach Adobe.Expected behaviorTrack State / Track Action should fire as soon as the user lands on the confirmation page, even if the app is suspended right afterward.Actual behaviorEvents only fire if the user stays active on the confirmation page long enough for the hit to dispatch. If the app is suspended immediately, the confirmation events are dropped.Questions for the community Is this expected be
What I testedWe were using the MCP to bulk-update smart lists across 59 nested programs in an engagement program. The goal was to add two filters to each smart campaign's smart list: an Email Address filter and a Marketing Suspended filter, then switch the filter logic to ANY.What workedAdding string-type filters works great. We successfully added Email Address (not contains, [".edu", ".org"]) across all 59 smart lists using add_smart_list_rule followed by update_smart_list_rule. Filter logic updates via update_smart_list_filter_logic also worked perfectly. This was a huge time saver. The bugadd_smart_list_rule returns error 709 "Smart List Rule Type Unsupported" for any Marketo system boolean field. We tested:Marketing Suspended (id: 85) Email Suspended (id: 123) Unsubscribed (id: 79) Black Listed (id: 87) Do Not Call (id: 82) Email Invalid (id: 77) Email Invalid Cause (id: 78, string type but system-managed)All return the same 709 error regardless of what we pass for ruleType, index,
Hi,We currently record sick leave in Workfront using a dedicated Sick Leave task. Employees’ sick-leave hours are logged against this task. Over time, the task has accumulated a million logged hours and a very large number of hour entries. We are now experiencing a significant performance issue: saving a new sick-leave entry takes at least 15-20 seconds compared to new tasks which take 1-2 seconds. We are considering replacing the task-based approach with Workfront’s built-in Sick Time General Hour Type, so employees would record sick leave directly on their timesheets without associating it with a task, project or issue (or) create new sick-leave tasks for every financial year. Before making this change, I would appreciate feedback from other Workfront customers:Are you using General Hour Types for sick leave, vacation or other non-project time? Have you experienced slower timesheet auto-saving as the number of Hour records has increased?Thank you in advance for sharing your experienc

Join Chris Perez, Sr. Director of Digital Marketing, and Amanda Letbetter, Director of Operations, Marketing Services at McKesson Corporate Affairs, where they share how they tackled the challenge of scaling work distribution and project management across a high-volume, multi-brand environment. Starting from a highly manual process, where project managers were juggling dashboards, Outlook calendars, and spreadsheets to assign work, they launched a Workfront Fusion automation scenario that now handles intake routing, project scoring, resource assignment, and template selection automatically. The result? So much time saved, allowing their teams to reclaim time to focus on higher-value strategic and collaborative work. Classification rules are now available in classification sets.I created a new classification set and added a rule with a regex and I wonder if any of you can shed some light on the following observations.According to the status, my new rule was directly activated without me explicitly activating it. Even after deactivating and saving, it reverts back to active. Testing the new rule gives me error messages. First it says “You have unsaved changes to your rules. Please save your changes and try again.”, although I saved it and did not change anything. After clicking on “Save rules” (again) and clicking on “Test rule set” it unhelpfully says “Failed to test ruleset. Please try again.”Are there known problems with saving/testing rules?
I’m trying to figure out the best way to report on the counts of selections made on a multi-select field for projects. There is currently a calculated field on the project form to capture choices, but that created entries on the report like “Choice 1, Choice 2”, “Choice 1, Choice 3, Choice 4” etc. Stakeholders are asking to segment them out individually. It sounds like I might have to make individual calculated fields for each of the 15 choices on the multi-select field. Am I on the right path to try and capture this data?
There should be a setting in the new launch to be able to track s.products without going to the custom code to build the product string.Kind of like how the old GTM had a checkbox to enable e-commerce tracking and it would just read the dataLayer Enhanced Ecommerce (UA) Developer Guide | Google Tag Manager for Web Tracking | Google Developers
Hi All,For batch ingestion via Source Connector, we have been using field descriptors for hashed email and phone identities. We are now evaluating a move to identityMap approach. One thing we want to confirm before migrating — when a user's email or phone updates in a new batch, does AEP automatically remove the old identity node from the graph?Or does the old node persist and require manual cleanup? Curious if anyone has observed this behavior in production.
I think this has already been submitted somewhere, but it would be great to have a feature where you can join branches of a scenario (router paths) back to the main scenario. For example, I have a form with a multi-select dropdown for brands; the selected brand determines who owns the issues, then other people are notified based on other form fields - those additional users are universal, but we need to create new issues for each brand. Some issues will only have one brand selected, some will have multiple that require duplicate issues to be created with different owners. It would be great to be able to check if multiple brands are selected, and if so iterate through the brands, creating new issues for each in a branch (if only one brand is selected, continue with the main scenario), then have that branch rejoin the main scenario and iterate through the issues to set the rest of the “universal” users based on the shared fields.

Hi, I have an AB test for two whole emails, nearly everything is the same except for the header image. If I want to send the winner based on whichever header gets the most clicks, I would do custom conversions -> clicks link in email and specify the two links, right? In this case the two links are exactly the same however I've added an "A" and "B" in the utm_term to differentiate the two.
Description - We can duplicate modules in Fusion. It's frustrating that we cannot do the same with filters. Why is this feature important to you - We all know what it's like when you're working on a Scenario and then you realize you need a filter to be on the other side of a module. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to move this like a module. Instead, you have to rebuild it. And, depending upon the complexity of the filter, it can be a pain. (I'm encountering this right now.) How would you like the feature to work - Just like you can clone a module, you should be able to copy/paste a filter. Current Behaviour - It doesn't do that and it's extremely annoying.
Consider We have a Form Page: https://www.abc.com/in/en/home/form.html which is loaded using iframe into Domain Page: https://www.xyz.com/sg/en/home/test.html.Domain: www.abc.com, https://www.xyz.com both are of using separate AEM environment.Issue:When we submit the form on this Page: https://www.abc.com/in/en/home/form.html and validated the google recaptcha, it successfully redirects to the thank-you page. But when we try to submit the above form Page which is loaded in iframe in Domain: https://www.xyz.com/sg/en/home/test.html after validating the google recaptcha successfully it is not redirecting to the thank you page and also thank-you page not loads in the iframe on the Page: https://www.xyz.com/sg/en/home/test.html. Other Information:For Page: https://www.abc.com/in/en/home/form.html we do have a redirection logic in the servlet to redirect to the thank-you page after successful google recaptcha validation. We are getting the logger statements as well for servlet in this scena

“We do these things not because they are easy, but because we have insomnia.” — John F. Kennedy (paraphrased) Known Visitor HTML lets you un-gate assets if the viewing lead is already known, so they just see a direct download button. But as a completist, I’ve always been irked by the fact that forms on other open tabs still show unless the lead manually refreshes. Those forms feel like sitting ducks for conflicting form data and unnecessary friction. If I’ve piqued your irk-terest, it remarkably easy to solve this using the BroadcastChannel API in all modern browsers. What’s a BroadcastChannel?BroadcastChannel offers guaranteed-secure, cross-window, same-origin messaging. You don’t need to worry about cross-origin security because the browser simply won’t allow cross-origin anything over a BroadcastChannel. (In contrast, the more familiar postMessage API can be secure if both sides enforce origin verification, but an inattentive dev can introduce leaks. postMessage lets you communicate
Share Your Validation Logic Recipe and be Featured in the Next Cookbook! One of the most common requests we've heard from customers over the past few months is simple: I want a list of real-world Validation Logic examples. While we did share a few in the event, Mastering Business Rules & Validation Logic in Workfront, we recognize that you want even more - more examples from your peers. So, we're excited to bring that idea to life with an upcoming Customer Validation Logic Cookbook, but…Whether you've built a simple rule that prevents bad data entry or a sophisticated workflow safeguard, your example could help inspire other Workfront customers and spark new ideas across the community. Not sure what Validation Logic is? Validation Logic is basically a smart rule on a custom field that checks the value entered to ensure it matches the defined criteria OR displays a custom error message.
