Journey Optimizer targeting rules not working in content simulation

When adding targeting rules in an action (email), I want to try these rules in the simulation content and it does not work. When I tried it at first it was working fine, but now shows the same template for every audience and they have to be different because i configured them to be different in each tier.

    Hi @Lively_society5538

    Few things to consider,

    • Clear Browser Cache / Reset Simulation: The Content Simulation interface heavily caches visual variations and test profile inputs within your active browser session. Perform a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5 or Cmd + Shift + R) and completely re-load your test profile dataset to clear stuck rule evaluations.

    • Verify Test Profile Attributes: Ensure your chosen test profiles actually contain the exact values needed to trigger the different tiers. If an attribute field is missing, empty, or mismatched (such as lowercase vs. uppercase), AJO will automatically fall back to the default baseline template.

    • AJO evaluates conditional components sequentially from top to bottom. If your first tier condition rule is written too broadly, it will capture all test profiles immediately, completely preventing subsequent tiers from ever being evaluated.
