We are on AEM in the cloud and have a requirement to send a simple contact form that the user fills out to a backend email address. E.g. no emails being sent to users, no attachments, no data storage, just take the simple form POST request and send an email.AEM has two frameworks out of the box, the older “Foundation Forms” Components and the new “Core Adaptive Forms”.I understand the Foundations Forms are kind of deprecated and Adaptive ones are encouraged, and I understand the new framework has more features, etc.but we already have implemented our custom designs (corporate styleguide) - but for Foundation Form elements only! (buttons etc.)My main question is: can I still use Foundation Forms to send an email (e.g. by building a servlet or in another way), or is it not possible at all in the cloud? If still possible but highly discouraged - what’s the Adobe roadmap for supporting such an approach? Also: is there a way to send the email using an Edge service (e.g. not hitting AEM Publis
I am working on AEM Assets(AEMaaCS) with AEM Sites(AMS), where I have connected AEM Assets to AEM Sites via the Dynamic Media Open API. I added the Image V3 component to a page, and in the Smart Cropping section, I see a list of ratios. The issue is that this list is coming from the Image V3 component and is hardcoded. However, I want this list to be generated dynamically from AEM Assets. How can I achieve this?
Hi all, I have a PDF file for a form with logo, images and styling. I want to be able to enter this form in AEM Adaptive Form while all the fields are looking part of the PDF file and not just fields separately. How to create an XSD that could be used as a Model while creating an AEM Adaptive Form so that while entering form in AEM Adaptive Form, the PDF appears exactly same? Is there a tutorial for a sample PDF?I need a tutorial with just two fields, two images and for learning purpose only. Appreciate all your responses. Thanks,RK.
HiI am getting this error on trying to instantiate new Document.I am using gradle with dependency com.adobe.aemfd:aemfd-client-sdk: 6.0.904I don’t see this class in the jar either. Is there any other dependency I should add to resolve this issue? Thanks!
Hi,I’m trying to build an audience in Adobe Journey Optimizer / AEP Audience Builder UI to target profiles whose birthday is in 4 days. The birthday field is a date attribute:birthdateLoyalty I would like to understand how to correctly configure this using the Audience Builder UIIn the UI: The operator occurs is not available. I only see relative date operators such as “is in next X days”, “is in last X days”, etc. My questions are: Is “birthdateLoyalty is in next 4 days” the correct and recommended approach in the UI for birthday use cases? Does the Audience Builder automatically ignore the year of the birthdate and evaluate only day/month? Is this approach safe for year boundaries (e.g. birthdays on Jan 2 when today is Dec 29)? Should the audience always be set as Scheduled (daily) for this type of logic? Any confirmation or best practices from Adobe experts would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
Where is Content Hub pulling schema data from and can we modify it? Lots of available metadata fields there that are not in our production schema in AEM assets. I do see our custom schema, so it is pulling our fields correctly. There are maybe a hundred other field names showing as available in Content Hub when adding fields to a section in Configuration. Any access to it all?
So, we can see now if and where a token is in use. That’s great! But looking at it a little more, I was wondering why so many of my Program Tokens were not in use. And in fact: They are in use, but obviously in a way that Marketo doesn’t recognize. I’d tentatively say this: “Used by” is only recorded when the token is in the body of an email or in a rich text area on a landing page. It is not recorded if the token is in a Smart Campaign Flow Step, in the meta tags on a landing page or in the local variables of an email module. That is probably not the extensive list, but be careful when deleting local tokens that are indicated to not be in use. It might be misleading.
Anyone had any luck connecting Zapier to Marketo zia SSFS? We’ve been testing a Zap but after following the documentation and steps, when pulling in the Zapier SSFS it came with a field titled Origin and neither Zapier or Marketo support are sure why or what we should populate in that field to make it work. Anyone had any experience with this?
We are currently experiencing significant sync latency between Salesforce (SFDC) and Marketo. We have observed a large backlog of records for both Lead and Contact objects. Currently, the sync cycle is taking almost 24 hours to process and clear the backlog, which is severely impacting our real-time marketing operations and sales handoff. Please let me know how can I bring this sync backlog to minimum.
I want to recreate a production scenario in sandbox for some changes and testing. I imported the production json into a new scenario with sandbox connections, removed the production scenario custom webhook and added a new custom webhook for the sandbox connection scenario. The new webhook is activated but errored out on the first send since the request ID and all other data wasn’t received. The production webhook is triggered by new, unconverted request creation and creates old and new state data fields. Many of the webhook data fields are used throughout the scenario. When I create a new unconverted request in sandbox, the new scenario doesn’t run through the webhook. I know I’m missing something here, but can’t figure this out. Thanks for any help with this.
Hi, I’m looking for a query to check which profiles left a certain audience (segment status: exited) in a specific timeframe.I’ve tried via the segment orchestration dataset and the profile snapshot but couldn’t figure out how to do it with both. Many thanks in advance! Best regards,Rob
Hi everyone,We’re currently using Adobe tools (Acrobat and Experience Cloud) for documentation and collaboration, but we’re facing challenges with managing meeting notes, summaries, and action items efficiently. How are others handling meeting documentation and follow-ups alongside Adobe workflows? Are there any best practices or integrations you’d recommend? We’ve experimented with an AI-based approach to summarize meetings and organize action items, which helped streamline internal workflows, but I’d love to hear how others are solving this within the Adobe ecosystem. Thanks in advance!
The GM 4L80e Transmission stands as one of General Motors’ most enduring and structurally robust automatic gearboxes, engineered specifically to tackle heavy-duty workloads with confidence and consistency. Rooted in the legendary TH400 design, the 4L80e blends foundational mechanical strength with modern electronic shift control, resulting in a transmission capable of supporting high torque levels while maintaining smooth drivability. Built for trucks, vans, commercial vehicles, performance builds, and towing applications, its internal architecture features reinforced planetary gearsets, a lockup torque converter, and a fourth-gear overdrive that enhances fuel efficiency and lowers cruising stress on the engine. The transmission’s electronically controlled system enables fine-tuned shift strategies based on load, throttle input, and speed, making it notably responsive and adaptable. This capability also supports aftermarket tuning, allowing builders to tailor shift firmness, line pressu
We are using CSV based data ingestion from ADSL 2.0 source connector. There is a field called lastUpdatedDate which is datetime field. Normal ingestion is working fine. But I want to do ingestion based on the lastUpdatedDate field. Issue I am facing is the source system is not able to send me incremental file and always sends full file. So i need to ingest only those records whose lastUpdatedDate field is newer than one we have.. This feature exists in some form in DB connectors but not present by defualt in CSV based ingestion. Possible reason for this is when we are ingesting the data from CSV and setting up rules, we dont have access to AEP dataset and hence can not figure out last updated timestamp to compare… Let me know if this is possible in some way.Regards, Kishor
Hi all,I have a summary panel in report consisting of 9 cards. Every card has its own description and numeric values. I have aligned all number values with consistent font sizes while designing the report. The alignment appears correct on my system after saving and downloading the report. However, when the same report is downloaded and viewed on other systems, the number sizes appear different, causing misalignment in the summary panel. As a result, the report looks inconsistent for different users.Could you please advise on why this happens and how can we ensure consistent number sizing and alignment across all systems? Thanks in advance.
We had a query from one of our AEM authors to see if the list component could search and display Tagged pages in multiple folders/paths. Scenario:All our news pages follow the same structure /news/year e.g:/news/2026/news/2025/news/2024etcEach containing 200+ pages in each year folder and tagged accordingly. The University library in this instance, want to show all items tagged with “library” in folders 2026/2025/2024 and possibly more.If they use the List component (using Tags) it doesnt allow the option to search in the child pages. If they use Child option, it allows you to chose a single parent and # of child pages but doesn’t allow you to filter by tag. So, question:Can this component be modified or has someone used this in a way where a AEM Author/Editor can add multiple paths AND search by tag.
I am trying to send a comms to a random sample of 30,000 from a given audience. Initially I was looking to add a profile cap condition after audience read and prior to the email being sent. Will this provide a random sample, or does it read the first 30,000 profile of the audience? Thanks in advance.
We are in the process of migrating our large and complex site from AEM as cloud service to EDS. One thing we wanted to check is if we can serve our content from localhost instead of relying on a cloud instance since we have multiple developers doing lot of POC's and research stories. Is it possible to mount localhost in fstab.yaml or any other means of having local content for EDS?
I’m currently using the Universal Editor in AEM Sites.I have a select component that determines which layout to use.When I switch to the "Six-grid layout", a container component appears, allowing the user to add multiple items inside it.At this point, I’m not using any custom JavaScript or CSS.My issue is that the values inside the container item do not appear in the view or the rendered HTML.Additionally, the content tree shows a component that I didn’t define, and I’m not sure where it’s coming from.Can anyone help me identify whether there’s something wrong with my definition file, or if I’m missing a required configuration? { "definitions": [ { "title": "Foo", "id": "foo", "plugins": { "xwalk": { "page": { "resourceType": "core/franklin/components/block/v1/block", "template": { "name": "Foo", "model": "foo" } } } } } ], "models": [ {
Hi everyone- I am looking for some resources, thinking, conversation, training etc for what to do now that timesheets/time tracking is enabled for my team. How can I make the most of this data via reports or dashboards? Ideally I’d love to understand how often we’re going over or under hours, which task types are often the most culprits? What are people spending time on? I am a WF admin team of one, and the timesheets was requested to be enabled by my BU. That was all fine to figure out, but now that we are collecting this data, I feel a little lost how to get the most value of it. Thanks in advance!
Hi all , In reports is that possible to track Number of reassignments (In Project report is task can be tracked by reassignments count) , Number of Handoffs (How many times the task is changed to someone ,is that can be tracked in count) . I need confirmation, is this possible .If not any another possibilities.
Hi,Screenshots attached......I'm trying to remove a Project User from a project in the People area, when they are no longer assigned any Tasks.I'm looking at the object Project User, which I believe is an array of the People on a Project. When I use the Search module in Workfront, I get an error saying that the object PRTU isn't available even though it's in the module drop down selection.'[422] PRTU is not a top level object and can't be requested directly in internal'Has anyone faced this issue?thanks,Kelly
Hello brilliant Workfronters! I have a few folks that want to use one project to manage multiple deliverables (flyers, email, etc.). I know that's not best practice but they insist as they don't want to set up multiple projects. There are also some projects that run all year (say, social posts for the year) and users don't want to open a separate project for every single social post. What is a good way to "capture" all that work via a custom form so I can "count" it in a chart reporting on number of deliverables completed in a period of time? Multiple "project deliverable" form fields? As in Deliverable 1, Deliverable 2, etc.
It is cumbersome when scrolling through a long list of options (such as from Search Criteria Fields, Select Forms to Map, Outputs, etc.) to see which are checked. It is especially so when you have long custom forms hundred of fields long.I suggest incorporating an action where if boxes in Fusion Scenario Modules are checked that they could be automatically pinned to the top for easy reference.
Hi all. One of the steps in a workflow is an approval and that approval link was shared to the end user by email. After he approves/disapproves in the email, how to get the result back into AEM, and specific to the work item in question?Email based approval as a part of Workflow step. Appreciate all your replies. Thanks,RK.
