Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: The AI-powered reverse image search in AEM Assets can find identical or similar images not by comparing meta data, but by analyzing the content of the image itself. Sample images can be uploaded via a button/form to trigger similarity search/reverse image search with an external asset. Use-case: When searching for a certain image or similar images in the asset bank, AI will help turn up the best matches regardless of meta data. I can easily upload any image to search for similar or identical images in the asset bank. Current/Experienced Behavior: Similarity search relies on meta data to find similar images Improved/Expected Behavior: similarity search/reverse image search uses AI to find duplicates and similar images regardless of meta data Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): ARM Assets Customer-name/Organization name: HBK Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if ap

Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Publish Button in "Open in Assets" view in new CF Editor Use-case: To enhance user convenience, "Publish Button" should be available once the user click "Open in Assets" view. Current/Experienced Behavior: There's no publish button option for the user after clicking "Open in Assets". User needs to manually navigate under full Assets UI. User should still have an option to publish the asset without publishing the CF which the asset is reference to. Improved/Expected Behavior: When the user clicks "Open in Assets," the system should provide an option to publish the asset directly within the "Open in Assets" view. This eliminates the need for the user to manually navigate to the full Assets UI. Additionally, the system should ensure that the user can publish the asset independently without publishing the Content Fragment (CF) that references the asset. This allows for greater flexibility and avoids unintended changes to the assoc

Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: When doing a quick publish in AEM 6.5.21 of a page that refers to a template that contains policies for components, the publish action fails (without any error message) when there is an issue when the cq:lastReplicated property is missing on a policy, and the cq:lastReplicationAction is set to Activate.Upon inspection of the logs, it seems like there is a NPE in the ActivationReferenceSearchBuilder. When manually replicating the default policy, the issue resolves and the replication works, as the reference search no longer errors with a NPE. I would expect either an error message, replication to skip the reference, or some more Null safety checks in the reference search service. Use-case: Users cannot Quick Publish content that has issues with related content missing cq:lastReplicated property. Current/Experienced Behavior: It's very difficult for developers to debug this as we only have an internal NPE without any re
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: I want to be able to get suggestions while adding hyperlinks So that I can have the ability to choose the path much faster These suggestions should be provided as root paths in the code. Use-case: Authoring Internal pages content path in RTE - hyperlink fields Current/Experienced Behavior: When we have to hyper link a page or content fragment , then while entering any text we do not get any suggestions and have to manually type full path or use path browser. It would be great if the path field can give suggestions of page paths as typing. Improved/Expected Behavior: If we have to author hyperlink path manually and enter text like /content it provides suggestions for available nodes so users can select it and get the URL authored quickly. Is it possible to export log details (Custom Forms, Fields, Templates, Projects, etc.) from Workfront? If so, how can we export these log details? Please advise.
Currently, the Google Cloud Storage source does not allow a resursive flag that requires extensive API operations for something that should be handled via a simple checkbox.Instead, the UI only allows importing single files and you will have to dig down to the parent folder level to be able to even see a preview of the contained data files.Pretty please, can this be added?just something that adds a params.recursive: true to the POST https://platform.adobe.io/data/foundation/flowservice/sourceConnections payload, should hopefully be as simple as that (fair enough, the UI will have to be able to dig down by itself to find the first file in the folder structure. But something as essential as this would be of great benefit for everyone using the GCS source connector. Thanks!
Hi all, Kindly walk me through a case study of AEM - Adobe Commerce Integration using CIF.It could involve high level requirements and high level steps to accomplish it.I will follow hyper links to go deep on any of these steps. Appreciate all your replies. Thanks,RK.

Complete Guide to Sling Models in Adobe Experience Manager1. IntroductionIn modern AEM development, Sling Models are used to map repository data (JCR nodes or properties) into Java objects. They simplify backend logic and make it easier to expose data to HTL components.Sling Models follow the Model–View pattern, where: Model → Java class (business logic) View → HTL script Content → JCR repository Sling Models are part of the Apache Sling framework, which is the core technology behind Adobe Experience Manager.2. Why Do We Need Sling Models? Before Sling Models, developers used: JSP scriptlets Use API classes Direct repository access in views These approaches caused:❌ Tight coupling❌ Hard-to-maintain code❌ Logic inside presentation layerSling Models solve this by:✔ Separating business logic from HTL✔ Making code reusable✔ Providing clean dependency injection✔ Simplifying JCR data mapping3. Where Exactly Do We Use Sling Models?Sling Models are mainly used in:1️⃣ HTL ComponentsTo pr
Understanding Content Fragments in Adobe Experience ManagerIntroductionIn modern digital experiences, content is often delivered to multiple channels such as websites, mobile applications, smart devices, and APIs. To manage this efficiently, Content Fragments in Adobe Experience Manager allow organizations to create structured, reusable, and channel-independent content.Content Fragments are a key feature used when implementing Headless CMS architecture, where the backend manages content and the frontend applications consume it through APIs.What is a Content Fragment?A Content Fragment is a structured piece of content stored in AEM without being tied to a specific page or layout. It allows authors to: Create structured content Reuse the same content across multiple channels Deliver content through APIs such as GraphQL Unlike traditional page content, Content Fragments are pure content without presentation.Example: Article TitleAuthor NameDescriptionImagePublish DateThis content can b
Complete Guide: AEM System User & Service User Mapping System users in AEM are used by backend services to access the repository securely without using an admin session. They are commonly used with the Sling ResourceResolverFactory to obtain a ResourceResolver.Using system users is a recommended security practice in modern AEM development.1. What is a System User in AEM?A System User is a non-login user used by services or backend code to access resources in the repository.Key Characteristics Cannot log in to AEM UI Used by backend services Has specific permissions (ACL) Works with Service User Mapping Why System Users Are ImportantOlder versions of AEM allowed: resourceResolverFactory.getAdministrativeResourceResolver()This method is now deprecated for security reasons. Instead, system users should be used.2. Architecture of Service User AccessTypical flow: AEM Service / Servlet / Scheduler↓ResourceResolverFactory↓Subservice Name↓Service User Mapping↓System User↓Repository A
AEM Sitemap Creation (Complete Guide)In this blog, we will understand everything about Sitemaps, why they are important for SEO, and how to implement them in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for both AEM On-Premise and AEM as a Cloud Service.A Sitemap helps search engines identify the list of URLs that are eligible for crawling. When search engines crawl these URLs, the pages can appear in search results.Typically, sitemaps are accessed using the following URL format: <site_domain>/sitemap.xmlExample: https://www.google.com/sitemap.xmlScroll to the end of the page to see the list of pages applicable for crawling. What is a Sitemap?A Sitemap is an XML file that lists all the important pages of a website. It helps search engines understand: Site structure Page relationships Last modified dates Alternate language versions Search engines such as Google and Bing use sitemaps to efficiently crawl websites.Sample Sitemap XML StructureBelow is an example sitemap containing the page UR
Hi Everyone, excited to be part of this awesome community. I have my first question:I need to confirm if a user has explicitly opted out of push notifications (either via device settings or an in-app preference center). Especially after sending a Push campaignWhere exactly in the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) interface can I check a profile's current push opt-out status? Is it seen as a specific field/attribute on the individual customer profile (and if so, what is the attribute name)?Or is it only reflected in the Push Notification failure/bounce metrics in the Journey reporting?
When subtasks have multiple assignees by role type, and the bulk edit tool is used to swap out a role for a name, it now removes an additional role types on those subtasks.Example attached - all subtasks with Digital Customer Experience are selected, edited to change for a name, but the subtasks that had multiple assignees (200, 202 & 203) have removed the other team despite ‘Remove all exisiting assignees’ not being checked on the edit screen. This has been the case since the new edit view was implemented. It has added considerable time to assigning projects, with lots of manual additions on individual lines being required where bulk assigning used to suffice.
Add a Full‑Screen Toggle for Proof ViewerAdd a button that allows the Proof viewer to be displayed in full‑screen mode. With the new unified experience, both the Adobe and Workfront toolbars occupy space at the top of the screen, reducing the available viewing area. Our editors would find it much easier to review Proofs if they could toggle into a true full‑screen view and see the content at full size without interface distractions.
I’m setting up our keyword hierarchy structure in AEM. I would like to mirror these in Adobe Bridge and Lightroom so I can add keywords in Bridge. I’m running into some difficulties in understanding the workflow and what’s needed.Has anybody done this? Can you provide any step-by-step directions? Thanks,Justin
This feature was recently removed. Now if I happen make a change to my document and require the approver’s decision again, I have to remove them and then re-add them. This will trigger an email to the approver saying “Your approval is no longer required.” followed by “Your approval is required” which is extremely confusing. From a user-experience standpoint, the removal of this option is a step backwards. It was a feature up until a bug was fixed. Why remove a feature?
What we’ve discovered with live chat is that when our BDRs miss a chat, we don’t have any way to engage with them in Marketo. When you build a smart list, you cannot use a filter at all for live chat was missed or anything similar. We have a weird workaround that we’re implementing with a goal right before the chat starts that we’re going to try, but I think this is a fundamental piece especially with the chat to Marketo integration. You can trigger off of goals and all kinds of other items, but there’s no way to trigger or even to provide visibility for chats that were missed.
Hi,We are facing weird issue where video when successfully reprocessed isn’t loading when played via DASH delivery (Video.js player) but works fine when triggered via re-upload workflow. Has anyone encountered this issue? We checked with Adobe support team but haven’t heard back on the root cause of this.
