1. DescriptionWhen an AEM author uses the "Convert to Experience Fragment Variation" action from the page editor, the OOTB servlet ConvertToExperienceFragmentVariation (from bundle com.adobe.cq.cq-experience-fragments) hardcodes the sling:resourceType on the converted component node to:cq/experience-fragments/editor/components/experiencefragment This prevents us from using our custom brand-specific Experience Fragment component during and after conversion. There is currently no extension point, OSGi hook, or request parameter to override this value. . Steps to ReproduceOpen any AEM page in the page editor. Right-click a component (e.g. Hero component). Select "Convert to Experience Fragment Variation". Fill in the conversion dialog and click Submit. Observe the POST request sent to: /libs/cq/experience-fragments/content/v2/conversion/converterOpen CRXDE Lite and inspect the converted component node. Observe that sling:resourceType is hardcoded to the OOTB value. Expected vs.
Hi Team -We have setup the audiences in AEP/AJO and also we have added the required asset id for japn region and once the AEP/AJO is processed email is getting deployed to all regions except for Japan. Hi everyone,I’m currently setting up a Google Ads Source Connector in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to pull campaign performance data into a dataset based on the XDM ExperienceEvent classBut am facing this challengeThe "segments.date" 400 Bad Request Error: Initially, I tried to include segments.date in the attribute list for the GoogleAds.Campaign resource. This resulted in a 400 BadRequest error.campaign.name, metrics.clicks, segments.dateDoes anyone connect google ads data into AEP?
Are there recommendations/best practices to manage content as code. One of the team I work with mentioned this as their problem statement “Our code gets deployed through Cloud Manager but our QA cannot test anything yet nor can automated regression tests be triggered through Continuous Test Pipelines because they have to wait until content is authored.”The human element in the process feels like a huge bottle neck in the process as it is hindering immediate feedback loop.I am trying to understand what strategies other enterprises who use AEM have implemented in their SDLC process. For example in a sprint, if the code and content are planned to be delivered together, cant the content creators(BA/Business) be ready with the content that go in with the fragments that get deployed as part of code
Did anyone receive Adobe Summit app link yet ?
Hello, Is there a way to sort my proof approvals in my homepage from newest to oldest? Right now, when I login, the default is it shows the oldest ones first. Thank you!
Hello !We have Analytics4Target on our website, we gets the data in Analytics and we are able to pull Activity/Experience results. But we would like to do some things that seems impossible, do you know how we can do these ?1. Get visits/visitors that got an activity/experience that were live between specifics dates. With the following dashboard, the “Activity” metric correctly show 0 for the activity that were off this month. But the other metrics are not relevant at all. Isn’t it possible to use other metrics ?2. Link an activity/experience to a PropIf I use a Prop that is also sent on the Adobe Target requests, I’m able to list activity linked to it when using “Activity impressions” (the activities that is are 0), but the other metrics give activities that are from other pages. Thanks a lot,Julien
Hello ,I would like to purge all redundant reports on the Workfront system. (i.e.,) There are a few hundreds of reports that have zero results among the thousands of records we have. Is there a way to identify them ?Happy to see a solution either on workfront or via FusionThanksHarih
Hi there,I’ve been a WF admin and in the tool for 8+ years. I’m no longer an admin, but am using it as a project manager (specifically for creative projects - think outside agencies, waterfall project setup, etc.). I’m finding the UI to be harder and harder to build easy-to-use at-a-glance views on project status (think like Smartsheets or Monday.com level of simplicity and UI). Has anyone built project reports that act as a dashboard that are user friendly, visually intuitive (color coded, etc.), or at least super effective at showing you where a group of projects is at (could be active task, status, etc.), who it’s with, maybe last update, etc.? The “Priorities” feature is definitely moving in the right direction, but it’s not customizable enough in terms of what columns I can include. Thanks in advance!Kate
I am sending SMS text messages and need to adhere to quiet hours. I am having trouble building an expression in AJO that sends at 1 PM in the fans local time zone.
The Approvals Widget has switched order so the oldest are on page one.We would prefer it go back to the way it was -- newest to oldest.I am an admin and haven't made any purposeful revisions to any setup or layout for this to occur and cannot find a place to change it.Any ideas?
When using the out-of-the box Workfront Proof integration with Adobe Express, you can select a Proof Workflow to use as the Express template for approval. Express displays the pre-set stages and approvals set in the Proof workflow. However, you must select a Workfront project for the proof to be assigned to. Can you have a project be predetermined / setup to be selected by default? i.e. have all approvals for a workflow default to “Project A” rather than having the user type and select the project each time. Background / extra context: Marketers are using Express to create creative content. Today they route content created in Express, through express for brand approval. The brand team wants to also be to track these approval requests through Workfront / proof for analytics and tracking. The workflow / proofing integration works! But often these requests are not connected directly to an active Workfront project, so the user would be confused to which project to type/select. Ideally,

Adobe's MCP servers are great. But what if you could build AI tools designed exactly for your business or development use-case?In my latest article, I show how to custom-build MCP integrations in TypeScript so AI tools like Claude or Cursor can:🗂️ Find and act on expiring DAM assets in plain language⚡ Bulk update metadata without juggling the UI🔍 Query logs with natural prompts like “show errors from the last 4 hours”🔗 Chain multiple operations in one smart prompt And the best part? It works for on-prem, AMS, and AEMaaCS setups - all tailored to your deployment, letting AI do the heavy lifting while keeping you in control 🎯 Check the article here: https://medium.com/@vorajineet/aem-mcp-your-way-design-business-specific-ai-tools-for-any-aem-deployment-ff66c3fde22dLink to Github: https://github.com/vorajineet/aem-mcp-server
I am trying to run a scenario that will trigger when a custom field is edited. The issue I am having is configuring a filter based on the oldState value being blank. Meaning if the field changes, but data existed in the field prior to the change, the scenario will not proceed. How can I configure a module to read the values of the oldState shortly after the trigger? Thank you
I want to send out reminder emails to contacts who don’t click on links in emails. I am interested in doing this in the stream of an engagement program. I was thinking of setting up the logic so that the reminder emails are in the stream, and there would be nested default programs that would skip the reminder emails for contacts who shouldn’t receive reminders.Would that be possible? The way I am thinking to try this is:For a default program, I would create a status “Skip in nurture”, in the default program channel.I would then use a smart campaign to give this status to those who clicked in the initial email.1. Can this be repeated several times, like twice?2. From a different standpoint, if a contact skips a piece of content in a stream, will they receive the next piece of content? In the same cast?
Hi, I set up a newsletter two weeks ago but I can´t see any data in the report tab. Any idea why this is happening? Thank you!
Hey AEP practitioners, One thing that keeps coming up when I talk to teams across the industry: staying on top of Adobe release notes is genuinely hard. Not because the documentation isn't there - it is - but because carving out time to check it regularly just doesn't happen when day-to-day work takes over. I built DXP Intel to solve exactly that. It monitors release notes across Adobe Experience Cloud solutions weekly, summarises what's new, and surfaces it in one place. You subscribe to the products you care about - Target, AEP, CJA, AJO, whatever's relevant to you - and only get an email when there's actually something new. No noise, no digest of nothing. Check it out → dxpintel.com Happy to hear any feedback - this is early days and I'm actively improving it.
Hello, I have data coming from the website via websdk and it is possible that we end up receiving more than 1500 request/second. Our organization has a streaming API limit of 1500requests/second, does data sent via websdk use this? Thanks,Arpan
Is there any Marketo API to set expiration date for local assets?I am using an integration tool to setup campaigns. Once the campaign has ended, I would like the API to end the campaign based on the expiration date. Currently, we do it manually. Is there a way to do it through API?
