Resourcing has been a huge focus with our team. We have 2 internal teams that have odd schedules as they work some weekends out in the field for projects. The system is setup for 40 hours, 5 days, and 8 hour days. I've tried creating a 2nd schedule to apply to specific projects for cases like this but it's not working the way I hoped. Does anyone have any recommendations on setting up the Workload Balancer to show 7 day availability but with a 40 hour work week limit?I think this has been the biggest struggle for us in trying to capture availability and scheduling within the system. Thank you!
When using a custom post-generation workflow in AEM Guides Cloud, the UI notification becomes stuck on "In Progress - Generating <output>..." indefinitely. I have a custom view that I work from and I need it to show me one more thing (which I am so close!) but I need help. I am new to this, so really playing around with the API explorer and building in text mode. I found this code in reference collections and it did get me closer to what I was envisioning... but not exactly. I specifically want to include a column that shows the designer (job role) assigned to that project. The following code shows all the tasks with all the assignees, which is great, but not what I need. Can anyone point me in the right direction? valueformat=HTMLtextmode=truetype=iteratelistdelimiter=<p>displayname=Tasks Names - Primary Assigneelistmethod=nested(tasks).listsvalueexpression=CONCAT({name},' - ',{assignedTo}.{name})

Hello guys. We use adaptive form core components in our system. We would like to generate documents of records after submitting the forms. But we get DoR with empty fileds. Could anybody provide a guide how to configure xdp templates for forms with core components?

Hello all! Thanks for taking time to read this first article in the series of Adobe Target Technical Tuesdays. Together with my colleague , we will focus on answering common challenges Adobe Target practitioners face and sharing some ways to make the most out of this powerful tool. Why Frequency Capping as a topic for this article? First, let me explain why I selected the subject for today's blog. As part of our role as community advisors, we consistently strive to assist fellow members of the Adobe Target community in addressing their queries and concerns on this platform. One particular question, in various forms, has cropped up repeatedly: "How can I ensure that an experience is displayed a limited number of times?" Recognizing the significance of this query, I decided to craft a comprehensive response that encompasses both the technical and business aspects of the solution. Our aim is to provide valuable insights to our colleagues, empowering them to enhance customer experi

When our Adobe leadership first encouraged us to use AI in our work, I was hesitant. I’m no Luddite – point me at any new gadget or a cool app that I can use in my job to make things easier, faster or just more interesting! So, it wasn’t a “resistance to change” thing. And I’m reasonably confident I’m not contributing to the creation of time-traveling cyborg assassins because I’m embracing AI prompts in the 2020s. (Don’t come at me, SkyNet.) So what was causing me to drag my heels about AI as a tool? It felt like…cheating. So – and part of using AI ethically is to be transparent about it as a source – I asked the AI tool that we use here in Adobe why using AI feels like cheating. It’s one of the first prompts I used. And its answers were illuminating to me: Cultural norms value hard work, skill, and effort; using AI to improve efficiency may seem like it skips these steps, even when thoughtful decisions are still involved. Hi everyone! Looking for some advice and best practices on onboarding teams to the proofing process. A lot of us are experienced WF users, but using the proofing process is new to our team. We have our designers owning the proofs and setting up the workflows (due to volume of work) on most projects. All of us are finding the process to be pretty complicated and glitchy. We are trying to use automated workflows that include all the relevant users/roles/etc. pre-set to make it very simple for us. What are some things you all did to make the process easier and more straightforward for the teams? What tips, tricks and workarounds do you use to make the system work for your team? Some specific issues we are struggling with are:- Controlling access to the proofs when it is not a user's turn. (Private stages only seem to hide the comments, not the proof itself)- Dealing with the "Workfront" stage that is created whenever a user looks at a proof.- Creatives needing to make a dec
Hosted in partnership with Rachel Small @rachel_small and Bill McCandless of Kyndryl, this session provided an overview of how Kyndryl’s in-house creative team took a self-taught approach to building a Workfront model that could support a $7B global business. They designed and scaled a content operations framework using native Workfront features like project templates, custom forms, reports and dashboards to balance speed, visibility, and governance. Author: Baubak Gandomi This is the first post in a two-part series about the importance of measuring efficient functional tests in platform engineering and in complex products. Baubak Gandomi is a Test Architect with Adobe Customer Journey Management. Code coverage is often a KPI used to show progress in projects. Especially when the quality of a legacy product needs to be brought up to speed. It is often expected to help detect holes in our certainty regarding the infallibility of our products and their associated tests. We think that although it seems quite clear in its results, it is quite misleading if used on its own to represent the efficiency of your tests. This is actually a very good measure and it allows us to find lines in the code that are not tested. But I feel that it does not give a clear picture of the state of the tests, and leads to false assumptions when you generalize this for tests that are not unit tests. The main focus of this article is functional testing.
