Sometimes, a collaborative dashboard can benefit from the Comments feature, but most of the time this is unnecessary and instead causes annoyance by opening frequently by accident as users try to scroll down through the workspace. While I can turn off comments individually on each dashboard, it would be much more convenient to default this to Off in Preferences and only toggle Comments section on when needed..
I’ve added a custom expression to projects that calculates the fiscal quarter and year in which the project was created. I’d like to use this for past AND future reporting. Currently, all projects display “N/A” so I’ll need to recalculate the expressions of at least the past year’s worth of projects. I tried to use the bulk edit method described in the documentation here, but the UI is different from the screenshots, and I don’t see the “recalculate expressions” checkbox. Does anyone know of another way to do this, or if I’m performing the steps incorrectly? I don’t have access to Fusion, so I can only do this within Workfront itself. Thank you for your help!
Can you please let me know if there is an option to create an audience as batch evaluation and publish it, wait for the audience evaluation job to run, once it is evaluated one time, is there a way to stop further evaluation but still have the audience available for activation to destination, and use it in other audiences.
Hello!I’m trying to follow the documentation provided here : https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/forms/adaptive-forms-authoring/authoring-adaptive-forms-core-components/create-an-adaptive-form-on-forms-cs/create-and-use-custom-function-core-component/custom-function-core-component-scope-functionEssentially I’m attempting to set the property of a field to either being valid or invalid depending on its content and then validating it.I’m attempting to call : globals.functions.setProperty(field, {valid: true}), as well as globals.functions.validate(field) but neither seem to be working. In order to try and figure out why I’m encountering this issue, I’ve added some console.logs at various levels of my code and I’ve noticed that if I attempt to log globals.functions, it comes back as undefined. This seems to be the crux of my issue since I obviously can’t call global functions if they aren’t defined, but I was under the impression this was part
Hi All,We have an Adobe Analytics + ECID + Target integration on our site which is implemented via Adobe Launch Data collection and Target is using the Target v2 extension. We have a consent partner for managing cookies and consent. We have already put all target related cookies under strictly necessary to deliver the user experiences. However, Target XF are showing blank spaces on page until user accepts the Analytics cookies from the consent banner. Upon further investigating this, we found that the Setup in launch is using the Pre-hiding snippet from a load rule to manage Flicker on site while Target is rendering. Also with this, the Consent Partner is blocking the “Adobe rum” script which is causing the XF to not load and the white space to show on site due to the pre hiding snippet from launch. We are unsure as how to manage this effectively while maintaining compliances with GDPR policies. For now, we think we can allow the ‘RUM’ script which will load the XF without user consent,
Can we get access to free AEP sandbox for training purpose and POCs?
I have got such a condition which checks if its product page.If I use it on the product page in web browser console it works. Data element looks at follows: Then in Rules condition looks at follows: Any idea why this does not work??
Hi Team — need advice on bulk video reprocessing and republishing (5k+ assets)Background: I need to reprocess videos across multiple folders. I have two options:Run CURL commands in batches (preferred — keeps processing external to platform; Adobe recommended this). Run a Groovy script inside AEM.Questions / requests:Republishing strategy — recommended batch size, pacing, and concurrency controls? Reprocessing is async, so what safe concurrency limits or delay patterns have you used to avoid overloading Dynamic Media/encoders? Is there an OOTB AEM workflow or pattern to trigger bulk video republishing across folders (e.g., adapt DAM Update Asset, Workflow Launcher, or Dynamic Media jobs)? If yes, can it be run cross-folder and at scale? Error handling & idempotency — advice on retry/backoff strategy, transient vs permanent error handling, and marking completed assets to avoid double-processing? Any known platform limits, performance caveats or recommended throttling values (per min
Hi,Why we cannot add a project related (Project ID) field in user object report. Is that a workfront native or is there any option to add.
In my instance, we have a frequent question/point of confusion that comes up with our team and I’ve never quite been able to come up with a good way to explain it to people that makes sense to them. I’m wondering if this is a common confusion, and if anyone has come up with good teaching methods for it? Scenario: We make a custom form for a new intake process, and a matching summary report for the team who manage the process to see all the records/data that are input on it. Over time, the process managers get used to using that report like Excel, and rarely have a need to open the Issue/Request record that’s behind it.Challenge: Sometime later, the process managing team have someone new join the team. That person is shown the report and asked to make some updates. They are unable to make the edits, which results in a support ticket to my team incorrectly asking for edit access to the report itself rather than the records it’s displaying. The real issue is that the new team member was
I use the functionality in Web SDK extension “On before event send callback” and put there in order to catch when specific Target experience was clicked. I want to forward this data to Google Analytics 4:if (content.xdm && content.xdm.eventType === 'decisioning.propositionInteract') { const proposition = content.xdm._experience.decisioning.propositions; console.log('propozycja', proposition)}Something like that is logged after specific experiences is clicked on the website to the console: Unfortunately there is only “Activity ID” available. Not the “Activity Name”, even though I turned on specific response tokens. Any ideas?
Idea SummaryUpdate Workfront email notification subject line formatting so the ticket subject appears first, followed by the notification type or status.ProblemUsers rely on email subject lines to scan, filter, and sort notifications. Currently, Workfront places notification actions first, which creates inconsistent subject lines and makes sorting ineffective.Current examples: Request Submitted: Subject Comment on Subject Subject is Ready to Start Because the ticket subject is not consistently positioned, users cannot easily group or prioritize notifications related to the same work item.Proposed SolutionStandardize all Workfront email notification subject lines using a consistent structure:[Ticket Subject] – [Notification Type/Status]Examples: Subject – Request Submitted Subject – New Comment Subject – Ready to Start Benefits Improves email sorting, filtering, and scanning Creates consistent notification patterns Reduces user friction managing high email volumes Aligns w
Hi!It would be great if Workfront would show all people assigned to tasks on reports instead of just the primary person.
Description:We use a specific naming structure for our Journeys and our message names. We want to be able to Query this Name when creating an audience, instead of having to use Journey ID or Message ID. Why is this feature important to you:As I empower more teams to work on campaigns as standalone teams, including test variations with split tests, I need to have overarching criteria that will allow me to all audiences who have received a type/class of mailing without having to create a manual list of Journey ID or message IDs How would you like the feature to work:For instance, if all emails with an Offer use "-OFFER-" in the message name, then I want to be able to create and audience with anyone who has received a message with "-OFFER-" in last X months and not have to recall all the journey IDs. Similarly, if a customer has been in any journey that begins with "XYZ-" in last X day I want may want to exclude them. I don't want to have to s
Many of you have been building on AEM for years - crafting sites that don’t just look great but drive measurable business outcomes. You’ve set the bar high. Now, the landscape is shifting. People are finding answers and getting work done through new, powerful tools - ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, and others. The AEM team is committed to making sure this community stays ahead of that curve. That’s why we’ve built LLM Optimizer - a new capability that gives you deep visibility into how generative AI systems (like chatbots and agents) consume and interpret your site’s content. It connects those insights to business outcomes and provides step-by-step guidance to help you capture emerging opportunities. This week, we’re starting to roll out LLM Optimizer for AEM customers on AMS and Cloud Service. You’ll start seeing real data - tracking agentic traffic and surfacing your first set of optimization opportunities. We started this journey just over 100 business days ago, and it’s only the beginning
I am trying to calculate On-Time Delivery % in Adobe Workfront using a Project report, but the percentage column is not returning any values. What I have done so far: Created a row-level calculated column to flag on-time completion: IF(ISBLANK({actualCompletionDate}),NULL, IF({actualCompletionDate}<={plannedCompletionDate},1,0)) This column correctly returns 1 for on-time and 0 for late items. Added a second column to calculate the percentage using text mode: valueexpression=SUM({DE:On Time Flag}) / COUNT valueformat=percent Added filters: Status = Complete Actual Completion Date is not blank Planned Completion Date is not blank Added grouping (Project Type / Team / Status). Issue: The On-Time Flag column shows values correctly. The On-Time % column shows no values (blank) even after grouping. My question: Is there a supported calculated formula in Workfront to calculate On-Time Delivery %? Are COUNT or aggregation functions not supported in valueexpression for Project
Hi,Is there any possibility to add a field in the Columns section of a report that shows the number of projects created by a specific user in Adobe Workfront?I am specifically looking to display this value as a column, rather than only seeing it in grouping summaries.Context: Report types tested: Project Report and User Report Requirement: Count of projects created by a user Expectation: A numeric value displayed directly in a column Challenge: Calculated fields do not support aggregation (COUNT) across related objects. Text mode expressions using COUNT() do not return values. Question to the community: Is this functionality supported in Workfront? If not, what is the recommended or standard approach to display the number of projects created by a user in project report?
Hi Is there any option to calculate the count of Number of project created by user in calculated field on user report or is there any field that exists default to count the Number project in user object report.
Enable system admin to unshare with a specific user multiple projects, tasks, etc. Today if 100 projects were shared with a user, you can not unshare the 100 projects at once, you have to unshare one by one by one by one by one by one by one.. .until done for a specific user.
When a user removes a custom form from an issue or any other object, the system updates area does not keep an audit trail letting us know that a custom form was removed. Need a way to know when a custom form was removed from a record and by whom regardless of the object.
I would like to be able to capture via a calculated field when custom text field has been changed. Current option is to look at the update feeds Update feeds captures thru Audit Text when a field change is reported in the update feed showing the before and after. Extracting thru text mode the Audit Text Entry date and making know which custom form field you are looking for and its corresponding entry date is nearly impossible.
Undo button available for system admins when designing/creating within a custom form, layout template, reporting, text mode. Please make this available when designing scenarios in Workfront Fusion as well. Why is this feature important to you - Eliminate unnecessary rework. How would you like the feature to work - Start by adding the undo button in custom forms, so if you delete a field by accident you can undo the action.Current Behaviour - There is no undo button
My idea is to offer the ability to pull Workfront Schedule Exceptions into Calendar reports in a manner similar to how user PTO can be displayed in a Calendar report. My company operates globally and uses multiple Workfront Schedules on user profiles with Exceptions to reflect regional office holidays. These Exceptions appear as holidays in the Workload Balancer and appropriately block resourcing, which works well for our resourcing needs. However, we would also like the ability to surface Workfront Schedule Exceptions in Calendar reports when reviewing task and project dates. Currently, this functionality is not supported by the API. Would love to see this added to the product roadmap.
My idea is to offer a date range filter in reports that ignores weekends. We use date ranges in many of our reports. When using a date range filter, including relative date ranges such as between $$TODAY-2D and $$TODAY, weekends are included in the calculation. As a result, when a report with the above relative date range is run on a Monday, tasks due on Thursday and Friday may not appear because the weekend days are counted in the range. We have used a Report Prompt, allowing users to manually enter the appropriate dates based on the day they are running the report. But we would like the ability to tell the system to ignore weekends when setting a date range filter in reports. Currently, Workfront offers the ability to ignore weekends in Schedules, Repeating Deliveries of reports, and creating Recurring Tasks.I would love to see a similar functionality built into report filters to tell the system to ignore weekends for date ranges. Thanks!
No task duration type, constraint type, or predecessor dependency type allows Project Managers to create tasks with variable durations. We have several instances where task A and C are set dates and task B falls between them. This duration can be 50+ business days and changes as task A and C move based on external factors. This also happens so frequently and in different workflows that a Fusion scenario isn’t feasible.Ideally Workfront would have a new predessor type that drives both the start and end date independently instead of depending on a planned duration. Task B planned start date starts when Task A’s end date finishes and Task B’s planned completion date finishes when Task C’s start date starts. The current work around is to set fixed dates for the task and manually update them as the other tasks recalculate but that takes a lot of diligence and effort on the project manager.
