You can do this by combining a read‑only group with folder‑level permissions.

1. Create a "Read only" operator group

• In the client console go to: Administration > Access management > Operator groups
• Click New and name it e.g. Read only users.
• In this group:
  • Do not add any powerful named rights like ADMINISTRATION, DELIVERY, WORKFLOW, IMPORT, EXPORT, etc.
  • Keep it minimal – this group is only for users who must view data.

2. Create the operator and assign the group

• Go to Administration > Access management > Operators.
• Click New, set the Login / Label (and password if needed)
• In the Groups and named rights (or Access rights) tab:
  • Add only the Read only users group.
  • Make sure this operator is not in Administrators, Delivery operators, or any other high‑privilege group.

3. Grant read‑only rights on folders

For each folder the user should be able to see (e.g. Profiles > Recipients, Campaign management > Deliveries, etc.):

• Right‑click the folder > Properties… > Security tab.
• Click Add, select the Read only users group (or the operator).
• In permissions:
  • Enable Read
  • Disable Write and Delete
