Does anyone have a checklist of the things we need to address before an Admin is deactivated to prevent any disruption? I know calendars will go away with their owners, an reports that run as the user, but is there anything else I may be forgetting. Also, will it effect Fusion scenarios in any way?
Has anyone successfully connected Workfront with Aprimo DAM using Fusion? Our use case is to upload final files from Workfront in the DAM, but we’re running into issues - especially files over 20MB. Would love to pick your brain if you’ve successfully done this integration!
Hi all!Has anyone had the time yet to play around with the Adobe Analytics MCP servers (beta)? created a new AA product profile with “MCP Access” permission, (actually for testing purposes added all permissions) assigned it to my API project in developer.adobe.com what I noticed there is that there does not seem to be a dedicated MCP-scope available, just as a side note, I only see “openid, AdobeID, additional_info.projectedProductContext” My MCP calls are failing with this error:(UPSTREAM_ERROR | HTTP 502 | {"method":"POST","error":"Proxy error","message":"401 Unauthorized: [no body]","targetUrl":"https://appservice-aamcpserver-prod.ethos11-prod-or1.ethos.adobe.net/mcp","timestamp":1777355456263})Now I'm wondering whether I need some additional provisioning from the Adobe side to access the MCP servers in the first place? Let me know what you think
In the Workfront UI, converting an Issue to a Project establishes a native resolving/resolvable relationship, and the Issue status is automatically driven by the Project status. In Fusion, the Convert object module:Immediately resolves the Issue Removes it from active queue visibility Does not allow control over timing of resolutionUsing Create a record:Allows delayed resolution But does NOT create the native resolving object relationship Prevents automatic status synchronizationRequest:Enhance Fusion to support:Creating a Project from an Issue using a template Establishing the native resolving/resolvable relationship Allowing control over when the Issue is resolved (not forced immediately)This would enable automation scenarios that match the native Workfront UX while preserving queue visibility and lifecycle control.Business impact:Prevents automation of intake workflows Forces manual conversion Creates inconsistency between UI and Fusion behavior
DescriptionCurrently, Adobe Analytics 1.4 API provides several powerful endpoints that allow administrators to manage report suite configurations programmatically. These include the ability to:Fetch and update eVars, props, events, and classifications.Retrieve configured processing rules for a given report suite.Adobe has announced that the 1.4 API will be deprecated in favor of the 2.0 API next year. However, these configuration-level features are not yet available in the 2.0 API. Once 1.4 is removed, these critical capabilities will be lost. For many enterprise-scale implementations, this functionality is not just convenient — it is essential. Proposed ideaExtend Adobe Analytics 2.0 API to include endpoints for:Variable Management: Create, update, and fetch eVars, props, events, and classifications at the report suite level.Processing Rules: Fetch and (if possible) update processing rules for a given report suite.Cross-Suite Comparison: Provide efficient ways to compare variable
Hi,I’m hoping someone has some ideas for a custom form or report that will help show all assignees on a task when work is done by fellow teammates. The team isn’t so thrilled with the “work is done button” as it makes it unclear to everyone else assigned (and this will always be different people from the team) who is done and when. There are also issues that prevent us from duplicating the request for each user to have their own request assigned. Any ideas on how I can get the assigned users a view on who is doing what? Right now the only thing I can think of is a freeform field where they can update each other in notes what is going on that would be included in their view/reports. However, they feel like this would be a lot of work and aren’t fully onboard with it. Any other ideas I may be missing? Thank you!
Back in 2020 when I was at Etumos I took the time to document that new UI’s tree sort order which was included in this blog post. When trying to lookup the full list today I noticed that there are some characters that were overlooked in that blog and also one anomaly that was not documented. Enjoy!-,;:!?.'"()[]{}@*\&#%`^+<=>|~$000011aaab_____a_a*Note the oddity in “_a” not showing after “_” for some reason even though “a” is higher than “_” in the single character sort.
While debugging updates to a mobile app, we can see the context data being sent properly and, in Assurance, the data being bucketed properly in the post-processed data section. However, the data is not being passed into Adobe Analytics. I have checked processing rules and everything looks ok. I've also tried adding in test evar and event and in Assurance they are populated, but not in Analytics. Another twist is I could see someone completed the same flow and the data from their session was passed into analytics. I can't seem to find any rhyme or reason to this.
Greetings.I have a website that will have two different players on its main page. They are both being tracked with Adobe Analytics and both call upon the MediaSDK, providing a mediaConfig object with the tracking server, channel, appVersion, etc. However, the two different players have different playerName values in their mediaConfig objects. Because only one player loads first, the configuration including the playerName is set for the entire page. Configuring the SDK with the second player’s values returns an error from MediaSDK saying that it’s already been configured. So any and all analytics for both players are only being housed under the first video’s analytics values. Is there a way to set up a second MediaSDK instance or otherwise edit/reset the configuration if the second video player is active?
Our users would like to be able to select, copy and submit as new an issue directly from a dashboard or a report. We have a popular project report where we have the Converted Issue: Name for the project as a column. Users would like to be able to select that issue and copy it to submit as a new request after modifying some data.
We have quite a bit of dirty data in our Marketo instance integrated with SFDC. While we establish internal alignment on deduplication logic to run via SFDC, we’d like a way to identify and segment Duplicates within our database. It seems the field “Duplicate Fields” is not available to be used within a segmentation. Could this please be reconsidered? Thank you, Raven McFarlane
For companies who are Microsoft Teams users instead of Slack, having an integration to Teams would be extremely helpful to notify sales agents of incoming live chats.
Hi Adobe Community, Greetings! I have a HTTP API connection from Salesforce which I get streaming events and a batch connector based connection with Salesforce from which I get events and profile attributes. Basically I have two connections from which I wanted to utilize events and attributes together for journeys in AJO. Streaming events sync in the profile or profile store within minutes. Also the profile attributes and events sync in the profile or profile store within <15-20 minutes. Wanted to check - If I use streaming events from the HTTP API connection to trigger the journey and users are qualified in the journey, then later down the journey if we use profile attributes and/or events from the batch connector as conditions, will the Journey continue as expected if the values are getting updated for them even with the batch connection? Thanks,Sambit
A big round of applause to Kat Shondeck (@KatSh1) , Project Manager, Office of Entrepreneurship and Commercialization, Penn State, for giving us a peek into how she’s built out Workfront for multiple teams and manages it all solo! Hi everyone,I am currently validating the behavior of the Journey Reaction Activity for Push Notifications and have observed a discrepancy in how interactions are tracked across different Operating Systems. In our implementation, we use a click_action key in the Custom Data section of the Push payload (e.g., click_action: "OPEN_BENEFITS"). Our data analysis in the Experience Event Dataset shows the following:On Android (FCM): The interaction is captured as eventType: pushTracking.customAction. On iOS (APNS): The interaction is captured as eventType: pushTracking.applicationOpened.This seems to be due to how the Mobile SDK interprets the payload on different platforms when no physical action buttons are present in the template. My question is: When using a Reaction Node in a Journey set to listen for a "Clicked" interaction, does the AJO orchestration engine perform a logical "OR" to include both applicationOpened and customAction?I want to ensure that users on both platforms are correctl
Hello Adobe Workfront team,Whenever a User is de-assigned from a Task; its Auto Assigned to the User’s Job Role. We don’t use the Workload / Resource planner functionality. Therefore this functionality of auto assignments to Job role, serves no benefit. Moreover its cumbersome, as a user has to remove a user from a Task & also remove the job owner role from the task even if the user was accidentally added. Can you therefore make this Auto assignment to Job-role functionality as optional (perhaps a system-wide setting that could toggle it on/off).ThanksHarish
Hi!I am using the cookbook’s “My People's Work Universal Dashboard” and trying to recreate Project Open Projects.workfront-customer-reporting-cookbook.pdfI created the Manager Hierarchy form and calculated field. I then created a project report and placed this text into the filter, with the only change being the field name. DE:owner:X Manager Hierarchy=$$USER.nameDE:owner:X Manager Hierarchy_Mod=cicontainsOR:1:ownerID=$$USER.IDOR:1:ownerID_Mod=inOR:1:statusEquatesWith=CUR PLN ONHOR:1:statusEquatesWith_Mod=instatusEquatesWith=CUR PLN ONHstatusEquatesWith_Mod=in I am trying to pull a list of all projects of all users the director manages, regardless if the user owns the project or not. They can just be on the project (not just own it). However, the report is blank when I view it as a director. Any thoughts or fixes?
Sending a SMS message or automated phone call to agents when a live chat is requested would greatly decrease the amount of missed live chats. Pulse notification and browser notifications are simply not effective.
We have 2 projects, using the same template, same project sharing accesses. In the template we have 2 tasks; Task 1 is assigned to Team A and one person (also in Team A) and Task 2 is assigned to Team B and one person (also in Team B).In the first project, Team A assignments show up in Team Requests on the Home Page and also in the user’s My Tasks - this is great. The issue is in the second project, both Team A and Team B’s task assignments do not show up in Team Requests, but they do appear for the named assignees on their respective tasks in My Tasks. Can anyone tell me why the tasks are no longer showing in Team Requests? What am I overlooking?
Hello! We have been modeling complex email strategy in Planning with deep connected-record hierarchies (Channel Brief → Versions → Modules → Flex Creative). The architecture works, but end users can't see a parent record alongside all of its connected records on a single page — every connection opens in a new window, which breaks down fast when a tactical brief spans 10+ related record which is not a great user experience. We've gotten the Planning AI Assistant to summarize a record + its connections ~95% of the way there, but there's no PDF export and no way to surface that consolidated view in WF Workflow for the creative, production, and dev teams who need the full tactical brief.Does anyone have any solves or know if consolidated record visualization is on the Planning roadmap?
When I go into a task and try to view all available custom forms in the drop-down box, I can only see three random ones even though we have many more than that available to select from. I tried logging out/in and have manage access to the project.

🧾 Description We are currently migrating from Adobe Analytics API 1.4 to 2.0 and have identified critical gaps that prevent us from fully deprecating API 1.4. API 2.0 does not provide feature parity with 1.4 in terms of report suite configuration and variable metadata, which creates a blocker for automation, governance, and documentation use cases. 🚨 Key Gaps 1. Missing eVar Metadata The API 2.0 /dimensions endpoint does not return essential configuration fields such as: expiration_type expiration_custom_days merchandising_syntax allocation_type These fields were available in API 1.4 and are critical for: Automated documentation Data governance Attribution validation Migration verification 2. Missing Admin / Configuration Endpoints API 2.0 does not support: Creating or updating eVars, props, events Managing Marketing Channel rules Accessing or modifying Processing Rules Equivalent functionality existed in API 1.4 via ReportSuite.* endpoints. 🎯 Impact This
