Analyse our open rate

Hello !

Sorry for my question, I’m new to Adobe Campaign v8.

I’m trying to analyse the open rate from many month ago.

The goal is to know, until ‘when’ our customer stop to open our communications. Do you know can I do it ? Is there something on our reporting or should I make a request on my workflow ?

Kind regards

    Hi,

    Welcome to Adobe Campaign v8!

Yes, you can perform this analysis, but there is an important distinction depending on the level of detail you're looking for.

If your goal is to analyze overall engagement trends (for example, open rates by month or by delivery), the standard reporting available in Adobe Campaign can help. These reports are useful for viewing:

    • Open rates
    • Click rates
    • Tracking indicators
    • User activities
    • Delivery-level tracking statistics

This is ideal for high-level analysis, such as identifying engagement trends over time.

However, based on your description, it sounds like you want to know until when each individual recipient continued opening your communications (for example, determining each recipient's last open date or identifying recipients who haven't opened an email in the last X months).

For that type of recipient-level analysis, the standard reports are usually not sufficient on their own. The recommended approach is to create a workflow that queries the tracking logs (trackingLogRcp or the equivalent tracking table in your implementation). From there, you can calculate each recipient's most recent open event and segment recipients based on their last engagement date.

    So, in summary:

    • Use standard reports for overall open rates, delivery performance, and engagement trends.
    • Use a workflow/query on the tracking logs if you need to determine each recipient's last open date or identify customers who have stopped engaging over a given period.

    I hope this helps!

    Regards,

    Nolan

    Hi Nolan

Thank you for your answer and sorry for my late answer.

Regarding my use case, I will try to create a workflow then. I will try some test during this week.

    Have a good day
