Hey WF Community,Has anyone cracked the code on generating a report that shows planned hours and actual, by assignee, for any given calendar date range, when there are many assignees on a given task?  That last part is the kicker.  If we only had one assignee per task I could generate this report. I've received this request from users many times over the years and I'm yet to find a reporting solution within WF that can accommodate this. Thanks,Nick

How do I get access to fusion for practice. Is there any trainings associated after which I can get a sandbox or something like that ?

This is a new one. I'm working on an automation which determines all common paramterValues between an issue an a document. When it has its list, it plops the list into the output field of a search module and pulls those exact fields.  Everything works...until a parameter has a comma in the name of it.  If I do things the "normal" way and specifically select the name of the field, the system works correctly:However, if I attempt to do this by entering the name of the field, Fusion gets confused. It thinks it's two fields instead of one and then Fusion errors out. I know I have to "escape out" the comma using the text parser to make Fusion realize that it's actually on field instead of two. I'm trying to look at the output bundles but I'm not seeing something which stands out. Any ideas? 

We are migrating to Admin Console early next year. We have accounts in Workfront with admin access level that we use as Fusion connections because we can manage the logins in locally. However, once we transition to Admin Console we will need actual email addresses (external or federated through my company) so that we can leverage them as service accounts in Fusion. I see three options:Create email addresses (e.g., gmail) outside my company's network and add to Admin Console as Adobe IDs and use as connections - this goes against my company's security policyCreate federated email addresses that can log in via SSO and represent a service account (e.g., workfront@[companydomain].comCreate OAuth2 Connections between Fusion and my Workfront instanceDoes anyone have any experience with this, and a recommended approach?

So, I'm playing around using the HTTP module to create webhooks which do things I can't do by using the Watch Events module. I was able to make a filter with an OR statement, which is wonderful. Hello community, most of users in our instance complain for terrible system performance today. Sometimes WF pages won't load at all, sometimes it would take minutes, sometimes they get errors, and finally sometimes it would just load fine. This seems to be independent of geo location, browser used, internet speed etc. Are you having similar problems today? If confirmed this will hopefully help to escalate with the support as for now they don't see any issue.  Let me know and thanks in advance 

I have a scenario that creates a task from a request (issue) when a custom field is selected. The problem I'm having is how to pass the attached document from the request (issue) to the new task. Does anyone know if this can be done? I'm able to see the document ID in the Watch Record module (first image), but it doesn't appear when mapping the data (second image).

I was wondering if anybody was willing to share the steps to export project data to XML?  I'm the admin but not a developer so when I reviewed EL, it appeared a bit over my head.  I DID, manually export a project to Microsoft Project (which is EML for Project from what I read), but when I imported into Excel it only brought in one row and not all the task data. Any help would be appreciated before I ping Support 🙂

We have a parent to child project setup. Our parent project is configured to allow a smaller request queue for creative development. We have many people that contribute and enter requests within the parent project. When the Project Owner places the project on hold, the child request (issue) is not routed to the creative queue. Is there any way to allow the request to push through when the project is on hold? 

We are working on exporting all assets that are currently loaded directly with Workfront to an external storage location. I am being asked to identify what storage sizes I can expect. Hi,I wonder if someone have run into this and potentially found a work around: We are trying to setup a project level report to compare 2 dates with one another. For example, we want to check if Date 1 is greater than Date 2. The issue we run into is that every date in Workfront has a timestamp attached to it. So for example, if the time on the date is after 5PM (I think this is done based on the WF instance time zone vs user time zone), Workfront will assume the date to compare falls into the next date. For example, if the actual completion date is 4/29/25 7:15PM, when comparing the date is seen as 4/30/25. To solve this, we tried a few ways:1. We created 2 custom fields for the 2 dates we tried to compare and within the formula we included CLEARTIME function. That did not seem to work.2. And similar to #1, instead of the custom fields, we used the CLEARTIME function within the filter itself, also result were not expected. A typical use case would be, I want to see

I have a custom form with Field 1 as a dropdown and Field 2 as a single line text to input the quantity required (of Field 1). This formula works:{DE:Field1}*{DE:Field2} and gives me a total. Happy. Now I would like to have Field 1 as a multi checkbox with 5 options and each option has a value associated to it. Depending on which option/s are selected in Field1, a single line text field will then appear to input a quantity for each of the 5 options selected.I want to update my calculated field to now give me a total value of Field 1 x Field 2 PLUS any of the other options. I found this as a test, but it gives me invalid expression.IF(CONTAINS("Field1Option1", (DE:Field1}), {DE:Field2}*value1,0)+IF(CONTAINS("Field1Option2", (DE:Field1}), {DE:Field2}*value2,0) And this one gives me 0:IF(CONTAINS("Field1Option1", (DE:Field1})*{DE:Field2},0)+IF(CONTAINS("Field1Option2", (DE:Field1})*{DE:Field2},0) Please can someone help? Hello! It is possible to adjust the height of a row in a task report. We have custom forms attached to the tasks, and some fields contain a lot of information, which is affecting the report's format. Is it possible to limit the row height to just one or two lines in the report?

I am noticing some of my users automatically have a Personal calendar while others do not. I have looked to see: 1.) If it is an access level issue - No2.) If it is a Iayout template issue - No  I have also searched articles on AEL but I can't find a pointed answer to this question.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you 

Hello, I would like to trigger the creation of a single-use approval process upon the submission of an issue. The details of said issue will communicate with a datastore which will help drive who is assigned to a certain step in the approval process. How is this possible in Fusion? Thank you

We have a process that is no longer being used and the department has asked us to take away the access to all of the issues within their project. There are nearly 6000 issues. I tested removing assignments but that doesn't take away their access. I was able to unshare the portfolio and project but users and teams were manually shared on the issues themself. We are trying to handle this with Fusion but are having trouble locating the correct information. Does anyone know how we could accomplish this in Fusion? (Remove all sharing access for all issues within one specific project.)

I'm trying to set up a Watch Event in Fusion to trigger when a task's Planned Hours change. However, the workRequired field (as labeled in the API) doesn't appear in the dropdown list in the Fusion UI.Is there a way to manually specify this field in the filter, or is there a recommended workaround for this in Fusion?

Hi, I am trying to solve a case where I have a multidrop down field for different Assignees (assigned to different Teams). My current issue is, if there is a multiselect it overwrites the Assigned team with the last option in the Router list instead of adding all the assignees when there is multi-select.Example:1. Someone selects Option Easter Egg - Team Green should get assigned to the issue2. If someone selects Option Christmas - Team Red should get assigned to the issue3. But if someone selects Option Easter Egg and Christmas - Team Green and Team Red should get assigned to the issue. Currently only Team Christmas gets assigned if both Options are selected since it overwrites the previous assignment. What can I do to add more assignees instead of replacing them with the latest assignee? Thanks

Is there a way to create if/then scenarios to set a condition for a column? I have a project clean up report where I need project owners to emphasize form fields that they need to complete as part of their project planning. I would like to create a condition where IF a selection is made in one field, and not an a subfield, THEN the report will highlight the missing entry for the subfield.  For example: our project entry form requires the selection of the market and business line of that market. In this case if the project owner selected a market but did not complete the business line for that market, the report should highlight that field in a color to emphasize this is a missing entry for their project.  How can I achieve this using reporting column conditional rules?
