Adobe Workfront

We are about to embark on our Workfront Planning journey and just wanted to think about topics I would need to cover in training for the end user?  They will not be the ones creating workspaces and stuff like that so just wondering what all the training could entail on their end.Currently, I have the following topics:What is Workfront Planning? Create and managing view tables Importing information from a spreadsheet   

I’ve set up reports to show “counts as revenue” hours vs total recorded hours, but since we have not required employees to fill up their time sheets, a lot of them don’t record non-revenue hours. We can change that through training but in the meantime I would like to create a report that shows revenue hours vs total available hours. But when I’m trying to build the report,  don’t see any option for an “Available Hours” column. Do I need to do this in text mode? If so, how would that be parsed? I don’t use text mode a lot, and when I do it’s mostly finding something that looks similar to what I want and copying or editing it. Thanks in advance. 

Basically - I have the same question as this user in 2023, but the code didn’t work for me - have there been any updates I should know about. I’m not savvy at text mode (like, at all).

Current situation is that if the group member does not follow the process and creates projects without the group share, the group administrator would not be able to see the project. This means that the group administrator does not have autonomy and would either require the systems administrator to share those types of projects to the group administrator or do a default sharing via access level which is missing the share to group administrator and only share to the homegroup.Let’s give the group administrator the autonomy so that they can create workflows and see all the projects for their group!

Our company has a non-standard Fiscal Year and it makes Reporting on the Fiscal Year very difficult as Calendar year or Quarter are not what our company goes by. Can we make a Setting that sets a Fiscal Year as well as Fiscal Quarters by either Company OR just for an instance?

Hello, I was wondering, is there any way to combine/sum f few expense types and display that sum as a wedge in a piechart. I need to sum up a few different expense types and show those against one different expense type. So 2 wedges in a piechart, one of them is ths sum of a few expense types and the other is just one.

I’m running an access level report in Workfront and I’m trying to get collection data to appear on the report. Based on the API explorer I’d like to get the following fieldsAccess Level PermissionscoreAction forbiddenActions secondaryActionsI set up the collection text mode column and was able to successfully get values for “coreAction”. However, it’s not returning the proper values for forbidden or secondary and instead returns a string of code.  I’ve noticed that the field types for coreAction is different than the other 2 field types Field Type: string vs Field Type: string[]  Anyone able to help solve for this?  

Hello everyone,I've a Fusion job where I create a folder in AEM and then through a custom call to Workfront, I add it as a linked folder in the desired project. I do all this in Fusion because I have a business logic that handles how and what folder i need to create and in which project i need to add it.The problem arises when i've to create a new folder inside the Linked Folder created in the previous step.i'm making the following POST request: URL /attask/api/v18.0/DOCFDR request JSON body{"name":"folderName","taskID":"xxyyzz","objCode":"DOCFDR","parentID":"aabbcc"} the error I get in both fusion and postam if I try the same request{    "error": {               "message": "Authorization is required.",               "title": null,               "msgKey": "exception.attask",               "attribute

As the title says, I am at a loss.  I do not know where to begin, I just know that I need to become the admin.  Does anyone have the patience enough to help me through it?

Is there a way to re-order the custom forms that exist on multiple projects (they exist on all of the projects)? I could not find a way to do it through bulk edit. Thank you.

Hello all,We have several Request Queue Templates that our groups use to embed requests in their projects. These are configured to use the same routing rules as the corresponding “actual” Request Queues.However, none of the embedded requests are visible in the users’ Requests tab or in their Requests widget, even though the regular submitted requests from the main queues show up as expected.I’ve tried to find documentation of this or others in the community encountering the same issue with no luck.Is this a known/temporary issue tied to the new experience, or does this sound like a configuration problem/bug that warrants a Support ticket?Thank you for you input.

I have a proof report that shows me everything I need except the planned routing due date. I have the field attached to all of our issues and projects, but I can’t find a way to get it to show on the report. Anyone have an idea how to do it?

Context: Workfront New Experience (not Fusion) - we want to set up an email notification (not an in-app notification) to a few specific users that lets them know when the status of a request (issue) = New.There is an existing Request Status Change to Request Primary Contact event notification, but we don’t see a way to copy it to make modifications or to copy the html of it so that we can modify it for an email template.Appreciate any assistance - thanks!

Hi,I have a custom form with a field where the users are expected to insert a 3 character code. I would like to have this code validated against a table from Planning, and only accept the user input if that code is not present in the table. Is this something that can be done with field validation?  Thank you in advanceJoao

We have a dropdown field (Project Scope) where the label and value differ (e.g., label = Maui SMA, value = SMA). I’m trying to build a report that displays the value instead of the label, but the only way I’ve found to do this is through text mode— which then disables inline editing.Is there any way to show the value in a report while still keeping inline editing enabled?
