Adobe Workfront

I need to see a report of Tasks and Requests that do not have hours logged by every assignee on each task/request so that we can see what Tasks/Requests are missing hours for which assignees.There’s a thread here that identifies a way for an individual user to see their own Tasks that have not been assigned hours, but I can’t seem to find anything that shows how to see multiple users who do not have assigned hours. Any advice is appreciated.

It would be very helpful to have an on/off toggle to allow default schedule exceptions (holidays) to populate on the time off calendars for users who are assigned to that default schedule. Holidays would appear in one color, and user personal time off in a different color, distinguishing the two.  This would prevent users from requesting time off on days that were already holidays, as well as giving users a quick and easy way to see the company holidays without having to set up a holiday “project” and a separate calendar as others have mentioned as a workaround. 

I am planning to refine and standardize the marketing asset types and associated deliverables used in Workfront. If I delete an asset type, will that fall off past project reporting? Is there a way to just archive an old option on a field and not completely delete? 

Hey hey Workfronters!I’m working on bringing a new team into Workfront and need your advice/expertise. What’s the best way to set up a task with a varying duration?For example: Task A has a fixed date. Task C has a fixed date. Task B needs to start on Task A’s due date and finish on Task C’s start date. The duration will flux as the fixed dates are edited. I’ve tried various predecessors and duration types but nothing is quite giving me what I need. 

Is it possible to retain the original intra-project ID on a Request that has been routed to a Request queue?We have Requests that are intra-project Requests. These Requests route to a certain Request Queue. We want to find a way using a calculated field or use Fusion to determine the Project that this Request originated from. When we use a calculated field or use Fusion, the Project info for the Request is always showing the Request Queue that the Request has been routed to.Please advise.

Hello everyone,I've a Fusion job where I create a folder in AEM and then through a custom call to Workfront, I add it as a linked folder in the desired project. Hi team,I use Power Apps to automate many of the tasks that we have as part of our projects. To help users access the app direct from Workfront, I have created a custom calculated task field that stings together a URL that will open the app on the page needed with the project loaded. The issue is, the URL is long and takes up a lot of room. Is there a way I can have this URL behind text such as "Go To Power App". I am currently using a document version report to show how many Approved proofs a user has for a certain period of time, along with the number of versions of the proof. Can I calculate the average number of proof version for the user?For example, in this screenshot, can I calculate the average number of proof versions from Kevin by totaling the “Ver” column and dividing the number of proofs (17)? I’m very open to getting this information with a different type of report, if needed.Thanks!

I’m trying to identify Standard access users who are not involved as Assignee to any object except issue and Approval process and who haven't changed any object status.Goal:If a user with Standard access has never performed a Task or Project status change or not been an assignee (excluding comments, document uploads, or approvals), we’re considering moving them to a Light/Contributor license.

Hi Workfront SME’s- late last week, hundreds of very old proofs appeared in the My Approvals widget for several users in our Workfront instance (our Deputy CMO has 184 proofs from 2022 & on- the normal amount is 10). Did anyone experience a similar issue? We have had several instances of the My Approvals widget being out of sync with the Proofing module. This issue has happened to us 8 times since May 2025. I sent off a ticket to Adobe on Friday morning asking tech support to re-sync WF & the proofing module immediately, and I AM STILL WAITING for the re-sync to happen. Meanwhile, with hundreds of outdated proofs in the widget, it is causing confusion about what does or does not need to be reviewed, is causing delays on feedback & approvals, and is forcing people to create workarounds such as sending assets via email for approval, which could cause problems for us with internal audits in the future. 

Hi I am working on formula field in Workfront Planning .  My objective is to display the selected values  of connected field (Name : Test Field) in new Formula field separated by a delimiter.Currently what is happening is when I directly write this formuala: {Test Field}, it displays values in this format. ["ABC","PQR","XYZ"]. So I am assuming this is becoming like an array field.When I change the formula to Arrayjoin(“”,{ Test Field}, the formula field displays value as below without any delimiter.ABCPQRXYZ. Wondering how do I add a separator that will enable to get display of values like ABC, PQR, XYZ  

Having an issue with Workload Balancer showing hours allocated to a user, even though they have no tasks against their name for that date. Similarly, seeing dates with inflated hours, where the assigned tasks add up to a certain number, but the number shown in balancer is significantly more. Is there a solve for this?  

Will the current workflow of proofs (making mark-ups, sending for approvals, etc.) be discontinued and the new workflow of the document approvals be the new process soon? We really use proof approvals because it's the best process for us instead of one-off approvals. Thanks so much!

This question is tied to my other question here:  New document approvals currently show like this in my view (versus the screenshot in the other post):Is there any way to build one view that covers both types of documents with a similar look? As far as I can tell, the only way so far to access the new doc approvals variables is through Canvas Dashboards, which is not useful to me. TYIA!

I need to create a report that shows jobs that have ALL tasks closed for that Team ID, in a specific time frame (last month).Meaning I want to see the number of jobs that my team completed all tasks assigned to them. I don’t care if other team members are still working on their tasks and the job is still open - my concert is only with my team. I don’t need to see jobs that still have tasks less than 100% completed by my team. Sorry, I’m being redundant but every time I explain it to someone, they have a hard time understanding what I need. Can anyone help me? I was able to get a report of tasks completed by my team, but there might other tasks on these jobs that were not completed, so these jobs should not appear on my report.Thank you.

We need to create an automatic generator of the Project ID — a unique project identifier created automatically at the moment the project is created (e.g., based on a defined pattern and numbering sequence).Before we start building any custom solution, I wanted to check with the community:Does Workfront offer any native functionality that supports automatic project ID generation?
