Adobe Workfront

Hi,I have created a calculated column in an Adobe Workfront report using text mode, and the column displays correct numeric values (0/1) in the report grid. However, this column does not appear in the “Values” dropdown when configuring a chart for the same report.What I have done Report Type: Project / Task Report Created a calculated column using text mode: The column correctly shows: 1 for on-time 0 for late Attempted to use this column in: Pie / Column / Gauge charts Different “Summarized by” options (Average, Sum, Count) Issue The calculated column does not appear in the Chart → Values dropdown. Native numeric fields and custom number fields do appear correctly. Questions Are calculated columns (text-mode columns) supported as chart values in Workfront? Is there a known limitation that prevents calculated columns from being used in charts? Is creating a custom calculated field on the object the only supported way to chart this data?

I’ve added a custom expression to projects that calculates the fiscal quarter and year in which the project was created. I’d like to use this for past AND future reporting. Currently, all projects display “N/A” so I’ll need to recalculate the expressions of at least the past year’s worth of projects. I tried to use the bulk edit method described in the documentation here, but the UI is different from the screenshots, and I don’t see the “recalculate expressions” checkbox. Does anyone know of another way to do this, or if I’m performing the steps incorrectly? I don’t have access to Fusion, so I can only do this within Workfront itself. Thank you for your help!

Hi Workfront SME’s- late last week, hundreds of very old proofs appeared in the My Approvals widget for several users in our Workfront instance (our Deputy CMO has 184 proofs from 2022 & on- the normal amount is 10). Did anyone experience a similar issue? We have had several instances of the My Approvals widget being out of sync with the Proofing module. This issue has happened to us 8 times since May 2025. I sent off a ticket to Adobe on Friday morning asking tech support to re-sync WF & the proofing module immediately, and I AM STILL WAITING for the re-sync to happen. Meanwhile, with hundreds of outdated proofs in the widget, it is causing confusion about what does or does not need to be reviewed, is causing delays on feedback & approvals, and is forcing people to create workarounds such as sending assets via email for approval, which could cause problems for us with internal audits in the future. 

Hey hey Workfronters!I’m working on bringing a new team into Workfront and need your advice/expertise. What’s the best way to set up a task with a varying duration?For example: Task A has a fixed date. Task C has a fixed date. Task B needs to start on Task A’s due date and finish on Task C’s start date. The duration will flux as the fixed dates are edited. I’ve tried various predecessors and duration types but nothing is quite giving me what I need. 

I am trying to calculate On-Time Delivery % in Adobe Workfront using a Project report, but the percentage column is not returning any values.What I have done so far: Created a row-level calculated column to flag on-time completion:  IF(ISBLANK({actualCompletionDate}),NULL, IF({actualCompletionDate}<={plannedCompletionDate},1,0)) This column correctly returns 1 for on-time and 0 for late items. Added a second column to calculate the percentage using text mode:  valueexpression=SUM({DE:On Time Flag}) / COUNT valueformat=percent Added filters: Status = Complete Actual Completion Date is not blank Planned Completion Date is not blank Added grouping (Project Type / Team / Status). Issue: The On-Time Flag column shows values correctly. The On-Time % column shows no values (blank) even after grouping.  My question: Is there a supported calculated formula in Workfront to calculate On-Time Delivery %? Are COUNT or aggregation functions not supported in valueexpression for Project

Hi,Is there any possibility to add a field in the Columns section of a report that shows the number of projects created by a specific user in Adobe Workfront?I am specifically looking to display this value as a column, rather than only seeing it in grouping summaries.Context: Report types tested: Project Report and User Report Requirement: Count of projects created by a user Expectation: A numeric value displayed directly in a column Challenge: Calculated fields do not support aggregation (COUNT) across related objects. Text mode expressions using COUNT() do not return values. Question to the community: Is this functionality supported in Workfront? If not, what is the recommended or standard approach to display the number of projects created by a user in project report?

Hi Is there any option to calculate the count of Number of project created by user in calculated field on user report or is there any field that exists default to count the Number project in user object report.

When a user removes a custom form from an issue or any other object, the system updates area does not keep an audit trail letting us know that a custom form was removed. Need a way to know when a custom form was removed from a record and by whom regardless of the object.

I would like to be able to capture via a calculated field when custom text field has been changed. Current option is to look at the update feeds Update feeds captures thru Audit Text when a field change is reported in the update feed showing the before and after. Extracting thru text mode the Audit Text Entry date and making know which custom form field you are looking for and its corresponding entry date is nearly impossible.

Undo button available for system admins when designing/creating within a custom form, layout template, reporting, text mode. Please make this available when designing scenarios in Workfront Fusion as well. Why is this feature important to you - Eliminate unnecessary rework.How would you like the feature to work - Start by adding the undo button in custom forms, so if you delete a field by accident you can undo the action.Current Behaviour - There is no undo button

Hi,Why we cannot add a project related (Project ID) field in user object report.Is that a workfront native or is there any option to add.

Hi team,I use Power Apps to automate many of the tasks that we have as part of our projects. To help users access the app direct from Workfront, I have created a custom calculated task field that stings together a URL that will open the app on the page needed with the project loaded. The issue is, the URL is long and takes up a lot of room. Is there a way I can have this URL behind text such as "Go To Power App". I need to see a report of Tasks and Requests that do not have hours logged by every assignee on each task/request so that we can see what Tasks/Requests are missing hours for which assignees.There’s a thread here that identifies a way for an individual user to see their own Tasks that have not been assigned hours, but I can’t seem to find anything that shows how to see multiple users who do not have assigned hours. Any advice is appreciated.

I am planning to refine and standardize the marketing asset types and associated deliverables used in Workfront. If I delete an asset type, will that fall off past project reporting? Is there a way to just archive an old option on a field and not completely delete? 

Is it possible to retain the original intra-project ID on a Request that has been routed to a Request queue?We have Requests that are intra-project Requests. These Requests route to a certain Request Queue. We want to find a way using a calculated field or use Fusion to determine the Project that this Request originated from. When we use a calculated field or use Fusion, the Project info for the Request is always showing the Request Queue that the Request has been routed to.Please advise.

Hello everyone,I've a Fusion job where I create a folder in AEM and then through a custom call to Workfront, I add it as a linked folder in the desired project.
