Adobe Workfront

When using the Week view layout in a Calendar report it has an hour-by-hour grid for each day of the week. When objects without a time don’t fall into these hour slots the hour-by-hour grid shows blank, taking up a lot of empty space on the page. I would like the ability to hide, collapse or turn off the hour-by-hour grid when viewing a Calendar report when the hourly grid is empty or unused. 

My WF proof has been generating for over an hour. I have cleared my cache and rebooted and nothing is working.

Currently, the description field is not included in the summary panel of the Unassigned Work portion of the Workload Balancer.  It is visible in the “Assigned Work” section, however.  There is currently no way to configure the component that governs this specific display (per Adobe).  Requesting that the task description be added to the Unassigned Work summary, as resource managers often need to refer to context within that description to make their assignment decisions. Currently the only way for them to do that is to click through to the task details, navigating them away from the WL Balancer in order to gain the necessary context.

Hi Community,I know written something disgusting here, which is returning 4 answers. In this example, the project holds 4 documents, and I’m only interested in proofs that don’t contain the word “Quote”. Two documents are not proofs (so want to ignore these), and the two proofs contain four proof versions between them.I’m not sure if I’m getting an answer per document. The actual answer I’m looking for with this example is “No”, as the first proof version was created after the estimate date. Is anyone aware of a way to surface the native task description field in the summary pane that displays on the right side of the workload balancer?  One of our user groups relies on information added to this field in order to determine the best resource to assign.  The summary pane in WL Balancer does not appear to be configurable, and I can’t seem to find a way to get that displayed in WL Balancer interface where they can also see resource capacity, other than asking the PMs to copy the description content into an Update, (since those do appear on the summary pane.). But that is far from ideal.  Appreciate any suggestions.

Hi Team ,I have a scenario, is that possible to group the planned completion date with week that consists only Mon-Fri. I have added the image with week , I need same with addition of only Working days in week.Is this being Possible? If possible, any suggestion.

Hello - I need to create a report where I can show the no. of projects and tasks assigned to each user in the group.Also need the list who have nothing assigned to them.How should I go about that?

I am working with a Team that wants to add a “Due Soon” and “Past Due” reminder notification to every task or issue added to their projects.  In the UI, I can add reminder notifications to tasks in a template, but I can’t add them automatically to newly created tasks or any issues.  I saw that there were community posts asking for this functionality (Make a Custom Reminder Notification a Default Setting for New Tasks in Group Tasks & Requests Preferences | Community, Adding Custom Email Reminder Notifications to Issues at a Template Level | Community), but it has not been implemented, so I tried to build a Fusion Scenario that will add them automatically. In the update Issue module, I can’t find Reminder Notifications or Timed Notifications as a collection, and I also don’t see this information exposed in the API explorer.  Has anyone else been able to create a Fusion Scenario that can automatically add Reminder Notifications to a task or issue, and if so, could you share how you d

The Bulk Assignments function in Workload Balancer ceased working for two users (one is a System Admin and the other a Group Admin). The functionality remains in tact for the other two System Admins and Group Admin who use it. Key info to note:Nothing was modified in the system setup or configuration The System Admin (myself) who has lost the functionality can’t assign any role in any project. The Group Admin who lost functionality only experiences with specific job roles.  All of the System Admins and Group Admins use company provided Mac computers and everyone has installed the most recent Mac system update. (I hoped that may have been the differentiating factor, but no.)Anyone experienced this before? Any advice on solving or troubleshooting the problem?

Hi I’m looking to understand how we can improve resource demand planning and forecasting in Workfront as we begin to roll out Workfront Planning.We’re trying to improve how we forecast demand across campaigns, regions, and teams. Can. you add effort in plannig and then connect to the Workload Balancer or resource planner. How is every else doing this? Thanks very much!

We have included custom form in multiple user’s  profile via bulk edit. All fields appearing fine as expected. When I go to user section and filter the user by “Category ID=Form Name” it does not show the user list. For other forms which are added individually to user showing the usernames with category ID field as expected.  I created report and below is my finding: If I user Category ID under User it does not show this bulk edits. But if go to ID under category these users shows up Please advise if it is normal behavior and will have impact in future.  

I am working on a Workfront report that groups projects by lifecycle stages (Analysis, Requirements and Planning, Implementation Phase, and Release).Currently, the report filter uses the following criteria: Task Name contains "Analysis" Task Name contains "Requirements and Planning" Task Name contains "Implementation Phase" Task Name contains "Release" The issue is that some parent tasks that are not actual lifecycle stage tasks are being included because their names contain one of these keywords.ex: Delay Implementation -- it is not lifecycle stage, I need the starting should be filtered.ex: Implementation Phase | Started -- It is lifecycle stage.I attempted to change the filter from cicontains to operators such as beginswith and startswith, but Workfront returns an "Invalid Parameter" error for both modifiers.Is there a supported way in Workfront reporting to filter tasks whose names start with specific values, or is there a better approach to ensure only the actual lifecycle s

 I'm trying to understand exactly how the "Duration (Average)" value is being calculated in a Task report.The report is grouped by Status and displays an aggregated Duration (Average) value.Example:Status: Complete (4) Discovery – Duration: 4 Days Discovery Tasks – Duration: 0 Days Marketing Snapshot – Duration: 0 Days Discovery Approved – Duration: 3 Days Report displays: Duration (Average): 1.5 Days Status: New (27) Requirements Planning – Duration: 4 Days Requirements Planning Tasks – Duration: 0 Days Marketing Plan – Duration: 0 Days RACI – Duration: 0 Days Additional tasks with mostly 0-day durations Report displays: Duration (Average): 0.33 Days My understanding is that the report may simply be averaging the native Task Duration field for all tasks in each status group.Can someone confirm: Is the "Duration (Average)" value calculated from the native Task Duration field? Or is Workfront calculating the actual time a task spent in that status using status history/au

Hi everyone,I’m hoping there are some creative ideas out there that can help with better tracking capacity for one of our teams that only receive work through requests. We are tracking actual hours on these requests but planned hours are not included currently (and the team doesn’t want to track them at this time).   I have reports showing the amount of requests coming in to each person, amount completed, and actual hours reports but our leadership is hoping to see additional reporting for capacity and who is doing what. The planner and workload balancer cannot be used since these users only receive issues/requests and not tasks along with no planned hours. Any ideas to provide some additional reporting in our current state or are we stuck since we don’t use tasks or planned hours?
