Team Request Assignment on Home Page

We have 2 projects, using the same template, same project sharing accesses. In the template we have 2 tasks; Task 1 is assigned to Team A and one person (also in Team A) and Task 2 is assigned to Team B and one person (also in Team B).

In the first project, Team A assignments show up in Team Requests on the Home Page and also in the user’s My Tasks - this is great.

The issue is in the second project, both Team A and Team B’s task assignments do not show up in Team Requests, but they do appear for the named assignees on their respective tasks in My Tasks.
Can anyone tell me why the tasks are no longer showing in Team Requests? What am I overlooking?

I would advise you go to the Workfront Support team about that first project, for some more clarification.

A quick toggle through the functionality in my own instance, shows that the team requests widget is acting like it should only show unassigned requests. Anything submitted to a team AND one of its members is not showing up on the list in my instance.

Tests I ran:

Task 1: assigned to team, then added team member from the widget (disappeared)

Task 2: assigned to team and team member (never showed up on widget)

Task 3: assigned to team and non-team member (shows up on widget for further assignment)

At no point have I seen anything where the team member added allows it to show on the team requests widget (I checked 13 requests on this one). I would actually say to check the team member to make sure they really are on that team for the first project.
