Custom Form or Reporting Tricks for Multiple Assignees on a Request?

Hi,

I’m hoping someone has some ideas for a custom form or report that will help show all assignees on a task when work is done by fellow teammates.  The team isn’t so thrilled with the “work is done button” as it makes it unclear to everyone else assigned (and this will always be different people from the team) who is done and when.  There are also issues that prevent us from duplicating the request for each user to have their own request assigned.   

Any ideas on how I can get the assigned users a view on who is doing what?  Right now the only thing I can think of is a freeform field where they can update each other in notes what is going on that would be included in their view/reports.  However, they feel like this would be a lot of work and aren’t fully onboard with it.  Any other ideas I may be missing?

Hi, if I understood correctly, you have a team of users who are all working on the same or different topics? If the team needs visiblity of what tasks are done or who did what, why not create a task for work that needs to be done and then assign that task to a team member? That way in a project they can see what is going on and who did what.

It’s a team that is assigned individually to requests through a request queue.  Multiple individuals will be assigned to the same request (but who those people are changes by each request).  The problem is that when one of the three or four people assigned to the request is done the others assigned have no idea.  They’re not sure when the work is actually done and the request can be completed or when it needs to stay open for the others to complete.
