  • I'm pretty sure you can't reference collections in a calculated field, so going to go with a big "no" on this one. Sorry!

  • if you have the experience, you should consider it like a relational database. The object you are reporting on, the task, has a "collection" of assignments (multiple assignments available per task). There's no way to engage this sort of reporting on the object report you chose to use (task report). ...

  • Based on the literature (link below) Workfront can calculate percent complete based on either duration or planned hours. I've never tried it myself, but I wonder what would happen if you switched over to using planned hours. I believe this can now be done on a group by group basis, so to be safe you...

  • If I'm reading your post correctly, I think this is normal. You sound like you're running a task report and grouping by primary assignee (a.k.a. "assigned to") which makes it look like the total planned hours all belongs to one person If that's the case, you should probably switch to using an assi...

  • I think probably best to try a document version report for this one. I see program ID is already one of the filters so I would experiment with using that and seeing if it nets you everything you need.   If you do employ use of versions, I'd additionally filter for the document's current version.   I...

  • For excel: our instance doesn't deal with a lot of excel review, so I can't personally speak to whether it's any good, but just want to point out that unless the print area and print breaks are set well on the excel file (including how much can fit on a page), it often doesn't convert to a Proof wel...

  • I would dearly love to have a reset button. Our instance was unable to adopt "sticky reorders" where a user could permanently reorder their report columns by clicking on the headers. Too many users were clicking randomly on headers and unable to reverse the process without clearing cache and cookies...

  • just a guess... this might be getting cached in some way... I would first try deleting my cache and cookies but it might also be an option to see if re-editing the view would help (add an extra column, save, delete the extra column, save... move a few columns around... that kind of thing)

  • oh no! What a pain. The only thing I can think of is to retain the assignments when you copy the project and then go in the /people section of the project and remove all (or many of) the people.

  • are you able to cite the documentation where you found the ability to use COUNT? For example, I usually go to this link: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/workfront/using/reporting/reports/calculated-custom-data/calculated-data-expressions.html?lang=en   to get my commands. I don't find it on ...
