Adobe Workfront

Hi ,I have a requirement related to Proof approvals in Workfront.I have assigned 3 approvers to a proof. Out of these, 2 users have already approved the proof, and 1 user has not responded.When the proof reaches its deadline, Workfront sends reminder notifications to all 3 approvers. However, my requirement is:👉 Only the approver who has NOT yet approved should receive the email notification👉 Approved users should NOT receive further remindersAs per current native functionality, reminders are sent to all reviewers regardless of their decision status.Is there any way to:Restrict deadline/reminder notifications only to pending approvers? Or achieve this using Workfront Fusion or any workaround?Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all—looking for some ideas/best practices here!I’m exploring how to automate task completions in Workfront based on proof decisions. From what I understand, this requires the document to live at the task level. If that’s the case, I’m curious how others are handling version control across multiple rounds of edits.Do you typically reuse the same task for each round, or create new tasks for each version? Trying to avoid things getting messy while still enabling automation.Example of what I’m trying to achieve:Design R1 – Designer uploads file to the task and marks complete Creative Review R1 – Proof is created and routed for approval Approved → completes Creative Review and moves to execution Changes Required → completes Creative Review and moves to Design R2 → Creative Review R2 This cycle would repeat until final approval.Would love to hear how others are handling this—especially if you’ve found a clean way to manage versions + automation together. Hi, I’m looking for some advice.I have a user who is trying to add a new task to the bottom of a project. The task above it is a recurring task, but this new task should be a separate item. However, when they add it at the bottom, it automatically indents under the recurring task instead of appearing as its own task.At the moment, the only workaround is to add the new task at the top of the project. Is there a way to add a task directly to the bottom of the project without it being nested under the recurring task?

Hi all, working on making a connection between Workfront Core (Sandbox instance) and Workfront Proof. I'm trying to set up the connection module in Fusion, but I'm consistently getting a Request Timeout error when I attempt to authenticate.I've double-checked the credentials and endpoints, and everything seems to be configured correctly from my end. After the quarterly release yesterday, some users received a late notification email overnight regarding a task called “Discover the New Work List,” found in the User Name Tasks projects. Did anyone else get this notification?This text was included at the end of the notification email:“Description:This is the new overview page. We've added commonly-used information like due date, the project this task belongs to, associated URLs and more. But don't worry, you can change all this as you like. Just select the three dots in the top right of the details section and select <b>Customize</b>. All of the updates on the right of this box are updates associated with this task. If you want to see more details on this task, select the <b>Details</b> tab under the title.”The Discover the new work list task doesn’t show in the User Name projects task list.Thanks  

Has anyone successfully connected Workfront with Aprimo DAM using Fusion? Our use case is to upload final files from Workfront in the DAM, but we’re running into issues - especially files over 20MB. Would love to pick your brain if you’ve successfully done this integration! 

Hi Workfront Community,Has anyone created functionality in Workfront that enables users to scope initiatives that are in the sales pipeline, but not yet converted to a closed deal?Currently, our Client Partners team puts together SOWs and scopes for various products and services we offer.  They do this in scoping spreadsheets right now to get an idea of estimated hours, resources, teams and revenue that will be involved.In the past, we had “scoping” projects in Workfront, defined by a custom project status, where we created tasks, with hours and resources, and although this worked for a while, users wanted something with more flexibility and thus moved to spreadsheets.Just seeing if anyone has implemented solutions in Workfront for this, as this will help with my ideation process.Thanks!Nick

Hi everyone, I have a scenario that attaches a couple of custom forms to an issue. It was working fine cca 4 hours ago, but all of the sudden I start getting the following error:The operation failed with an error. [422] APIModel V22_0 action assignCategory does not support argument named alreadyAttachedThe original module being used is Misc Action, with the following setup  And I also tried using a Custom API Call as such   Both modules give me the same error message. I’m really at a loss here, especially since this was working today without issues.Any ideas what can be the issue or how I can fix this? Thank you

We are looking into sharing final files from our documents section in Workfront with an external partner/agency to create efficiencies. Is there a way to trigger a notification with the documents in an email to a partner through Fusion to be sent directly to the partner? 

Hello Everyone, I would like to add a team / user on Workfront project (i.e. people section of the WF project).I tried the beloew  Custom API module  URI : prjusr Method : Post  Query String : ProjectID & UserIDError : Invalid Json at line 1 (If the parameters are passed in the Body section) -OR- null objCode (when the parameters were passed as Query Strings)   Create Record Record type : Project User Passed both fields : Project ID & User ID Error : PRTU is not a top level object 

I have a ticket open with Support about this, but I’m curious to know if anyone else is facing this. We have a large number of dashboards pinned via Layout Template to the Portfolio or Program object - things like a portfolio snapshot, program snapshot, air traffic control, that sort of thing. Previously, you could build the reports on those dashboards and not require a filter for a specific program or portfolio - they would automatically filter results down to the respective object you were viewing the pinned dashboard from. So if you were viewing the dashboard from within Portfolio A, it would NOT show you results from Portfolio B or Portfolio C. However, if you opened a specific report in another tab outside of the current Portfolio, it would show you results from the entire system (assuming you didn’t have something in your filter to prevent that from happening).Today, our Portfolio pinned dashboards work as expected, but our Program ones do not.
