Welcome to the VERY FIRST edition of the Workfront Wire!

This is your new monthly roundup built just for Workfront customers. Think of this as your one-stop-shop for the latest news, updates, events, and everything happening across the Workfront world. Each month, we’ll bring you what’s new, what’s next, and what you should know to get the most out of Workfront, without having to dig for it. Let’s get into it, and we’ll see you again next month for the next edition of the Wire.

Adobe Summit: 4 Key Workfront Announcements You Should Know

Last week at Adobe Summit, Workfront announced FOUR key updates focused on AI-driven workflow execution, enterprise operations, and more connected planning and review experiences:

  • Workflow Optimization Agent: AI that turns ideas and documents into structured plans, automates updates, speeds approvals, and delivers cross-system insights in Workfront.
  • AI Collaborators: Invokes an existing agent to execute work, leveraging instructions and context, and operates as a permissioned user in Workfront. The first (of many) AI Collaborators, the Content Reviewer, checks content against brand guidelines to speed and improve reviews.
  • Advanced Enterprise Operations: New capabilities for financial, resource, and governance management with real-time profitability insights and stronger enterprise controls.
  • Unified Review & Approval: brings together Workfront and Frame.io into a single, connected experience to centralize feedback, sync assets and versions, and accelerate approvals with real-time visibility across tools.

Hi @NicholeVargas - In previous summits, 2025 and earlier, the roadmap for the upcoming year (H1 and H2) was presented for all functionalities, not just AI. Is there a recording from the Summit that covers this?

@_Manish_Singh  There were 2 roadmap-focused sessions for Workfront, both heavily focused on AI:

However, there are talks about doing a 2H roadmap webinar for all Adobe Digital Experience solutions, including Workfront, sometime this summer. So once that date becomes available, I’ll make sure to pass it along / confirm that it gets published to the Events page!

Hi @NicholeVargas - this is great!  Is there a way to subscribe to the Workfront Wire so it hits my inbox each month?

@justinc40146696  We’re still looking at ways to communicate this newsletter out to customers every month, but I will say:

  • We plan to pin The Workfront Wire to the top of the Community feed each month
  • We currently send a monthly Announcement Center message (which should trigger an email to System Admins if activated) with a list of all events for the month. Because this newsletter contains that same info, we will likely update the language for that AC message so it links back to The Workfront Wire.
  • [In consideration] Publishing to LinkedIn - although it would come from our personal profiles (either myself, Cynthia or Leslie)

If you have other ideas, please let us know - we’d love to get this out to more customers every month!
