Adobe Journey Optimizer

Why no offers are returned if you can side on the right side of the screen that some are exisitng on that sandbox? :)

I want to send a Custom Action POST request to CRM during a journey workflow:  jo_status_code for this sendout shows 400 without any further details. I asked support for help  Additionally test authentication shows that the test is successful. Did you come across that this feature might be bugged?   So the error might be with my request structure. How would you futher debug? :(

Hi Team,I'm relatively new to Orchestrated Campaigns and am trying to develop a deeper understanding of a few concepts that seem closely related but are not fully explained in the documentation:Grain Target Dimension Reconciliation Enrichment Change DimensionI've reviewed the available documentation, but most examples are fairly basic. I'm hoping to get a more conceptual explanation, ideally with sample data and before/after results. My Current UnderstandingGrainMy interpretation is that grain refers to the level of detail of the dataset, or simply:"What does a single row represent?"Examples:Customer table → 1 row = 1 Customer Order table → 1 row = 1 Order Claim table → 1 row = 1 ClaimTarget DimensionMy understanding is that the Target Dimension represents the schema/entity that the workflow population currently belongs to.Examples:Customer Order ClaimExample ScenarioCustomerCustomerID C1 C2 OrdersOrderID CustomerID O1 C1 O2 C1 O3 C1 O4 C2 This is a standard Customer →

I'm trying to trigger a Journey entry using a unitary event condition based on an unsubscribe event coming from a landing page.Entry condition used:(isNotEmpty(@event{All_Consent_Update_Event._experience.customerJourneyManagement.messageInteraction.subscription.subscriptionListID})) and (in(@event{All_Consent_Update_Event._experience.customerJourneyManagement.messageInteraction.subscription.subscriptionChoice}, ["no"]))Context:When a profile unsubscribes via a landing page, the event is correctly generated and visible on the profile. Under messageInteraction.subscription, both subscriptionListID and subscriptionChoice are populated with the expected values (subscriptionChoice = "no"). However, when this same event/condition is used as the entry trigger for a Live Journey, the profile does not enter the journey. What I've already verified:The event is present on the profile timeline with the correct field values. The XDM path used in the condition matches the schema field path on the eve

Hi everyone,I'm implementing Web Push in Adobe Journey Optimizer with the Web SDK, and I'm trying to pass custom metadata to the service worker using the Custom data section of the push content editor. The key-value pairs don't appear in the payload the service worker receives, and I couldn't find official documentation describing how Custom data is handled for the Web platform. SETUP- Web SDK (alloy.js) 2.35.0 with pushNotifications configured (vapidPublicKey, appId, trackingDatasetId)- Official alloyServiceWorker.js served from the site root- Push channel configuration with the Web platform selected- Event-triggered journey with a Push action; Custom data added to the content and the journey republished WHAT I TESTEDTo inspect the raw payload before the Adobe service worker processes it, I added a push listener at the top of the service worker file:self.addEventListener("push", function (event) {  console.log("[DEBUG]", JSON.stringify(event.data.json(), null, 2));});The notification

Quick lesson from a recent Marketo-AJO project: Marketo is program/campaign-centric whereas AJO is event/journey-centric. This sounds obvious, but it changes the schema design, segmentation, and journey logic. This is not a mere lift-and-shift setup.  The two main things aren’t the journeys themselves. These are schema design and identity resolution. Both are harder than they look. XDM Schema DesignIn Marketo, the data model is flat and permissive - custom fields can be added without touching anything else. In AEP, the schema is formal and more structured that every journey, segment, and destination downstream depends on.Few things that matter in practice:Schema classes come first: AEP has 2 main core classes - XDM Individual Profile (attributes like name, email, title, etc.) and XDM Experience Event (timestamped events like website visits, form fill outs, etc.). Every Marketo field needs to be sorted into one of these buckets before building anything else. Some Marketo fields have no

I use a Contentful as a CMS for web. CMS requests Edge Decisioning API and then render the offer. I need to debug what identities are sent in the request do you know if that request land is some specific dataset?

Have you used that API?My Prod and Dev are not 1:1 so I am expecting problem. I assume as a first step do the POC: Prod Offer Decisioning → Dev Decisioning for one specific Decision ScopeDo you recommend creating all the profile attributes, audiences etc on Dev and then map prod → dev?Any advices?

When I replace a Custom Action for a new one in Journey I need to update email template if I use in that Email Template some parameters from Custom Action?

Assume that you would like to use journey data once again in AEP. I see that there are two ways to update AEP: Sent data from journey: Custom Action → AEP Streaming API Update Node What are the differences in you use-cases? What you prefer?

We have recently implemented send time optimization (STO) and want to understand the optimal send time for each profile. Has anyone successfully used the ‘send time rank’ or ‘send time optimization’ scores on an individual's profile to understand their optimal send time? At this stage we are really just looking for insights to help us understand our customers and when they would be most likely to open/click emails.

Hi everyone,I’m exploring how teams use Adobe Journey Optimizer when a customer’s experience depends on a mobile plan or connected device. For example, a customer buys a device with a data plan. That creates several useful moments for communication: purchase, SIM or eSIM activation, first connection, low data balance, renewal, and service interruption. The connectivity platform knows when these events happen, while Journey Optimizer could use them to send timely, relevant messages.I work with Spenza, a connectivity platform for connected devices. We’re interested in how teams would design this workflow; I’m not describing an existing Spenza–Adobe integration. For those who have built similar journeys:Which service events would you send to Journey Optimizer, and which would you keep in the operational system? How would you link a SIM or device event to the correct customer profile? Would you use a journey event for most lifecycle messages, or an API triggered campaign for immediate servic

Hi everyone,I don’t know if you can help me with this question abount Whatsapp Native Webhook: What we tested:We submitted a real Meta delivery callback payload (wamid + recipient_id + status read) directly to the AJO native WhatsApp webhook URL.The endpoint responded HTTP 200 – Webhook data processed successfully, but no event appeared in AJO Email Tracking Experience Event Dataset. Relevant docummentation (whatsapp-configuration) mention this points:"A profile must have at least one message sent from Journey Optimizer before incoming messages are captured in this dataset."Our interpretation: AJO requires having originated the message natively to register the wamid internally — without that record, it cannot correlate the Meta callback to a profile, so it accepts the payload silently (HTTP 200) but persists nothing. Questions:Is the AJO WhatsApp webhook designed exclusively for messages sent through the native AJO WhatsApp channel?   Is HTTP 200 expected even when AJO cannot correlat

Hi! a client is insisting that the whatsapp webhook URL is allowed to send any information to CDP, not only Inbound categories to tracking. They want to send whatsapp delivey logs using that webhook. I think that’s not possible, that webhook URL is only allowed for tracking logs, is that correct? thanks.

I need to add a new parameter to a Custom Action (it already works in live journey). The only solution is to create a new Custom Action and new version of a journey?

TITLE EDIT: Rulesets at action levelhi ! is there a way to retrieve all journeys which are using a rule set? using API or query service? I already know that journey_step_events is handling those ruleset values but is there another way at action (communication) level? thanks

How would you debug? Send request to Edge Decisioning API for the same user (ECID)? Is there any system dataset which tracks capping?

Hi thereIs it possible to dynamically iterate/loop through all account numbers in an accountDetails array within an AJO Custom Action expression and:Return all account numbers for a customer Display only the last 4 digits of each account number Format the output as: 1234 1234 and 5678 1234, 5678 and 9012 (for 3+ accounts) Thanks!

I'm looking for guidance and best practices from anyone who has implemented bilingual SMS compliance keywords in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), particularly in a Canadian context.ScenarioWe're using:Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Sinch as our SMS provider A single shared short code for both English and French audiencesAs part of Canadian SMS compliance requirements, we need to support mandatory opt-in/opt-out keywords in both languages, including:EnglishSTOP HELPFrenchARRET AIDEChallengeThe integration documentation between AJO and Sinch appears to rely on a single inbound webhook endpoint for processing SMS replies. Based on the documentation I've reviewed, I haven't found a clear approach for configuring language-specific automatic responses. For example:If a user texts STOP, they should receive an English confirmation message. If a user texts ARRET, they should receive a French confirmation message. However, with a single shortcode and what appears to be a single inbound processing pat

Hi all,I'm trying to understand a specific aspect of AJO's decisioning capability. Does AJO's decisioning engine have the ability to generate/select offers purely on its own — using only internal AJO/AEP configuration (like offer eligibility rules, priorities, and constraints) — without needing to pull any profile or event data from an external/3rd party source into AEP?

If the Custom Action is used in live journey I am not able to change the payload, authentication etc?

Im using the following query to consult ClientIDs that entered a specific action (Email action): SELECTDISTINCT identityMap['clientId'] [0] ['id'] AS node_enter_profilesFROMjourney_step_eventsWHERE_experience.journeyOrchestration.stepEvents.journeyVersionID = 'd67b3772-71a9-4d4c-b78f-a7c5373f8034'AND _experience.journeyOrchestration.stepEvents.actionID = 'b5a8420a-899b-437b-97fd-4a425f7a4e71'AND COALESCE(_experience.journeyOrchestration.stepEvents.journeyNodeProcessed,false) = trueAND (_experience.journeyOrchestration.stepEvents.dryRunID IS NULLOR _experience.journeyOrchestration.stepEvents.dryRunID = '')AND COALESCE(_experience.journeyOrchestration.stepEvents.inTest,false) = false Is there a way to include in this query, the date of the start of the journey as well as tags related to the journey?
