Adobe Analytics

Greetings.I have a website that will have two different players on its main page. They are both being tracked with Adobe Analytics and both call upon the MediaSDK, providing a mediaConfig object with the tracking server, channel, appVersion, etc. However, the two different players have different playerName values in their mediaConfig objects. Because only one player loads first, the configuration including the playerName is set for the entire page. Configuring the SDK with the second player’s values returns an error from MediaSDK saying that it’s already been configured. So any and all analytics for both players are only being housed under the first video’s analytics values. Is there a way to set up a second MediaSDK instance or otherwise edit/reset the configuration if the second video player is active?

We have browser height and width bucketed but it there another dimension that allows us to look at all the values (non bucketed)?

Hi! I’m doing analysis on breakpoints and bringing in adobe analytics ootb dimensions but saw that some are not always reliable in another community post. I want to double check what dimensions I should be using.  So far, I’ve been using monitor resolution for desktop and mobile screen size for mobile. For both desktop and mobile, I’ve broken out by browser height-bucketed and browser width-bucketed.  The one concern i had is that most of the mobile screen size for mobile device is unspecified. Is there any suggestions on how I should be looking at this analysis?  Can I layer in monitor resolution for mobile and can I break down mobile screen size for desktop? What would be the most accurate breakdowns and what’s the difference between monitor resolution and mobile screen size? 

I’m currently validating Adobe Analytics tags for a banking mobile app in the UAT environment. When I trigger certain events (tags), I can see the data firing correctly in the Adobe Analytics Debugger. However, the same data does not appear in Adobe Analytics Workspace. I’ve tested this across multiple devices and operating systems, but the issue persists. What’s puzzling is that when my colleague performs the same actions from her system (different device and setup), she is able to see the data in Workspace without any issues. It seems like the problem occurs only when I test it, despite not using the same device or environment as my colleague. I’m unsure what could be blocking the data visibility on my end. Has anyone encountered a similar scenario before? Any guidance or insights would be greatly appreciated.

In the screenshot above, you can see that Adobe Analytics is giving me more entries for these items than visits. How is that even possible?

Hi all,Im trying to calculate YoY% metric using CUMULATIVE fx advanced function. Do you know the cirteria or formula to calculate it base on this type of fuctions? I did MoM% and its perfectly done (see image below) but a tried to do it for YoY (ex: march 2025 vs march 2026) and was not able to do it. Does anyone know it? Could anyone help me? Do I have to use other advanced fuction? Thanks in advance for your help and experience! 

Hi Guys, We have 2 types of Youtube Videos:iframe based youtubevideo which plays inline: Here Tracking works fine with Adobe extension “Video Tracking for YouTube”. iframe based youtube video which plays with a Modal Popup.: Tracking doesn’t work when user Clicks on Video, Modal opens and video starts playing in Modal. What recommendations do you have so that the tracking for Modal Youtube videos also starts working?  Thanks,Nitin

Hello, We have several jobs that fetch data from the Adobe warehouse using the FTP server (ftp2.omniture.com). However, since March 7, we have been unable to connect to the Adobe server and retrieve files from the ftp2.omniture.com host.This is a critical job for us as it is used to obtain daily data from Adobe, and the issue is currently impacting our client data as well.We would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue on an urgent basis. Thank youShubham

AJO is not using native email channel to send emails. Instead it sends custom payload to salesforce and salesforce sends email.Now salesforce has email send/open/click etc data. Salesforce sends the data back to AEP(non profile enabled), which is then connected to CJA.Both AJO dataset and salesforce dataset has personID as identifier.AJO dataset has campaing name, and campaingn TaskCode which is unique for each email touch point. Salesforce also has the TaskCode but not the AJO campaing name.Now if I breakdown the JourneyName by Email metrics (open/click) etc, it shows 'NoValue' in the report.I have tried binding of JourneyName dimension with the Dimension related to email open/click, that still shows 'NoValue'.I have tried binding of JourneyName dimension with the TaskCode dimension, that still shows 'NoValue'.What am I missing here ? Do we need some sort of secondary level of stitching to link TaskCode from Journey dataset to salesforce dataset ?

Team,Due to front end issue(uncovered via CXM tool), for a few of our customers, just the order screen payload wasn’t dispatched, but it was success per back end system records. So, Adobe Analytics has scAdd,scView,scCheckout, custom event(billing info & order review), just s.purchase missing.  Given s.Purchase missing no s.TransactionID too, and data source option is ruled out.Now, I have those ECID & customer ID(evarX) for very sessions, via Bulk Data insertion API, can I do one ingestion for all those? and will I be able to normal report as if payloads came from browser or there any considerations to be aware of? In our marketing channel set up we saw a spike in traffic coming into our Direct Channel. In the marketing channel detail it is all going into None, where the rule is set to show what page it is on. We have no changed anything on our end and am wondering why this is happening. We have had this rule running for years and now we are facing this issue.   

Currently I am working in creating some dashboards in Adobe Analytics for a mobile app and realized that I needed data like ‘First Launch’ and ‘Upgrades’, which are provided if I enable “App Reporting” in the report suite. Before doing this I want to know if there are any impact on performance, memory, or anything of the sort. I can’t find any documentation on why this is disabled or impacts of enabling this setting.

Hi -I don’t have developer access to Adobe Developer Console, but I need to confirm which Adobe Analytics API version our organization is currently using.Is there a way for non‑developers to check this, or what steps should I ask someone with developer access to follow so they can verify the API version for me?Thanks!

Hello Everyone, I need to recreate a report from Analysis Workspace in Legacy Report Builder, and from what I have experienced the following aren't possible in Legacy ARB:  - breakdown eVar by prop (props not listed as option for breakdowns) - get custom event metrics for props  (no custom events listed in wizard) Is the above true, or am I missing something?  Thanks for any ideas.  Are there any documents which state these limitations? (I can successfully recreate the AW reports in the new Report Builder but the client isn’t running it yet)

Hi everyone,I have a question regarding user journey analysis in Adobe Analytics.Is it possible to track and analyze user movement across different channels (e.g., from paid search to display, or from social to direct) within Adobe Analytics?More specifically, I’d like to understand if there’s a way to view the flow of users based on channel transitions, rather than just single-channel attribution.If this is possible, could you please guide me on which reports, features, or metrics (e.g., Flow, Fallout, Workspace setup) would be most suitable?Thanks in advance!

I was scheduled to take the AD0-E207 exam this morning and my laptop had issues connecting to the portal.  I don’t see any option to reschedule, and it still says “in progress” If i click the take exam it just takes me to this page: And if i click schedule new session theres nothing in the dropdown: I’ve submitted an Adobe ticket as the testing company says this has to be rescheduled on Adobe’s end, but haven’t gotten any response from Adobe. ​

I don’t see any way to minimize it our close it. I checked under “Project Info and Settings” and nothing there. I’d rather use the additional real estate to focus on visualizations. 

What is the maximum value(integer) that can be passed in a numeric success event per hit? Is there a cap on the accumulated sum of a numeric event over time?
