Agentic AI is rapidly transforming marketing by enabling autonomous decisioning, content generation, audience creation, and journey orchestration at unprecedented speed. Within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Real-Time CDP, these capabilities are becoming increasingly real—not theoretical. However, with this acceleration comes a critical challenge: control, trust, and governance have not evolved at the same pace as AI capabilities.Without the right governance framework, agentic AI can introduce unintended risks across:Brand safety and consistency Regulatory and compliance adherence Customer experience integrity Decision transparency and explainabilityThe key question is no longer “Can we use AI?” but rather:“How do we scale AI responsibly while maintaining control, trust, and accountability?”This article outlines practical governance models that enable organizations to scale agentic marketing safely and effectively. Why Governance Becomes Critical in A
Hi everyone,I’m currently working on automated workflow testing for email notifications and user journeys in Adobe Experience Cloud projects, and I wanted to learn how others here are handling email delivery validation during development or QA.I’ve been researching different Bulk Emailing Marketing Solutions for API/SMTP-based workflows and recently came across DigitalAka™ while comparing providers for test environments. Are you validating email triggers through external APIs, sandbox inboxes, or custom automation scripts? I’d appreciate any recommendations or practices that work well with Adobe workflows. Thanks!

If your bounce rate is showing near-zero percentages after migrating to the Web SDK, this post explains why it happens and how to build a reliable alternative metric. Why Native Bounce Rate BreaksAdobe Analytics bounce rate = visits with exactly 1 hit / total visits. When success events fire on page load as separate beacons (component presence tracking, feature flags, etc.), every page visit immediately has 2+ hits so almost nothing qualifies as a bounce, even when users leave immediately. The Solution: Page View-Based Calculated MetricBuild a segment and calculated metric using page views instead of hits:Segment: Include > Visits > Page View (event1) equals 1 Calculated Metric: [Segment] × Visits ÷ Visits = Page View Based Bounce RateThis is immune to your success event inflation because page views don’t increment on non-page-view beacons.Watch Out: Event Multi-FireIf your custom page view event itself fires multiple times per visit (common with SPA frameworks or overlapping Adobe
Small automation win I wanted to share with the community We recently set up an automated notification in Workfront that triggers the moment a proof is approved — instantly alerting both the content owner and the project owner.Sounds simple, right? But before this, those two people were either:— Waiting on manual follow-ups— Finding out late and losing time on next steps— Relying on someone to remember to ping themNow the moment a proof is approved, the right people know. No chasing, no lag.Sometimes the highest-ROI automations aren't the complex ones — they're the ones that eliminate a small, repetitive friction point that was quietly slowing everything down.Anyone else has quick wins like this? Would love to hear what small automations have made a big difference on your team. 👇
Hi,Has anyone with Adobe Analytics Prime upgraded to Adobe Analytics Ultimate? I didn’t even know Adobe Analytics had different versions until last week. Apparently Ultimate is a good solution for cross device analysis (CDA), among other benefits, without having to upgrade to CJA. Thanks in advance.
We are creating a single email asset for 2 segments (members + default)We want to show certain areas to members but hide from the default segment.By using Conditional Content, it seems for text sections it works by simply deleting the text section (or is there a cleaner just “hide” this section”?)What I can’t figure out is how to hide the button from the default segment.
In CJA, is it possible to build this with a sequential segment? Or will it have to be derived? We are looking for people that visited a certain experience. They have should have ">4 sessions within a 30 day period within the last 4 months, with the last use < 30 days ago.” This feels more complicated than what CJA can produce.
Hello all! Question for the community. I’m looking to figure out how long it takes users to complete one of our online scheduling flows on the site on average (from form 1 to the confirmation screen), to see if mobile or desktop takes longer to complete the flow. I figured out how to create a derived field in CJA to calculate the total time it takes users to complete the flow from start to finish (meaning it calculates the entire total of seconds all users have spent completing the flow). I called that dimension Time To Complete OLS Flow and added it to my data view. Then in workspace, I created a calculated metric with Time To Complete OLS Flow divided by the total number of flow completions (booked appointments) to find the average time per user it takes to complete the flow. However, I'm not sure whether to use events or visits as the persistence in the denominator for that calculated metric. ie, Time To Complete OLS Flow / Booked Appts (visits) OR ie, Time To Complete OLS Flow / Bo
How is that possible? Or only Dev2 is on a prod?
Hey team, I recently developed a data element to dynamically populate the datastreamID based on the page hostname - however the edgeConfigID is still resolving to %data element%. Any advice on how I can configure the data element so it is available at run time? Currently on Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK v2.34.1 extension In this thread it mentions that Adobe fixed the issue at the extension level , however I am encountering the same issue Thanks,Ty
In the Marketo Admin panel under Integration > Salesforce > Edit OAuth Consumer Info, both the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret fields are displayed in plain text. This is a security concern — OAuth secrets should be masked by default (e.g., ••••••••••) with an optional "Show" toggle, consistent with how most platforms handle sensitive credentials. Current Behavior: - Navigate to Admin > Integration > Salesforce - Click "Edit OAuth Consumer Info" - Both Consumer Key and Consumer Secret values are fully visible in plain text Expected Behavior: - Consumer Secret should use a password-type input field, masked by default - Consumer Key should ideally also be masked - An optional "Show/Hide" toggle would allow authorized admins to reveal the value when needed Why this matters: - Screen sharing, screenshots, and over-the-shoulder exposure can inadvertently leak credentials - Security audits and compliance reviews (SOC 2, ISO 27001) flag plain-text credential displa
Hi Team,I’m trying to retrieve the list of journeys using the Adobe Journey Optimizer API. I found a link in the documentation that provides a YAML file, which I imported into Postman. However, when I trigger the request, I’m not getting any response.Reference link: Journeys Retrieve APICould you please help me resolve this issue?
Document Proofs do not currently “honor” the User Settings around notifications. This is an issue for users who need broader visibility to Document Proofs, but do not require detailed summaries. Is this something Adobe Workfront team can look into resolving? This resolution would help prevent unnecessary email disruption for our management/leadership team that need visibility to Document Proofs without the detailed email summaries.More detail on case study: We have Workfront contributors that will view a monthly report that contains a proof link, where they can view a document proof. For these users, all User notification settings set to off. However, when they click to view the Document Proof, Workfront is adding them as a “Reviewer” to the Document Proof and automatically subscribing them to receive Daily Summaries for that project. We tested resolution by keeping them as Reviewer with Proof notification settings disabled. [However note: this resolution would be a challenge, as Docum
I’ve been exploring different Adobe advertising and marketing tools lately, and one thing I keep noticing is how much modern campaigns now rely on personalization and user behavior data rather than just traditional ad placement. With platforms like Adobe Experience Cloud focusing heavily on customer journeys, analytics, and audience segmentation, it feels like advertising is becoming much more experience-driven instead of simply pushing ads to large audiences. Adobe communities also emphasize learning, collaboration, and improving customer experiences through smarter workflows and integrations. ()I’m curious how others here approach balancing personalization with simplicity. Do you think highly targeted campaigns genuinely improve engagement, or are users starting to feel overwhelmed by “too personalized” advertising experiences?Would love to hear how different teams are using Adobe tools for campaign optimization and customer engagement.
Models API (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/target-dev/developer/api/models-api/models-api) currently allows getting a list fi features that make up models for AP/AT activities. While it works for activity-level, would be beneficial to get the list of all features across an organisation so that we can block unwanted features globally. For mature organisations that use many AP/AT activities, its difficult to identify features as part of an activity and then block those globally. Getting list of all features in one single API response will help saving time.
Hi everyone,We are currently working with Edge Delivery Services using AEM Authoring as the content source (spreadsheet-based publishing flow). We noticed that after publishing a spreadsheet and generating the corresponding JSON, French accented characters are being replaced by the Unicode replacement character ().Example:Aller simple partir deinstead ofAller simple à partir deWhat we validated so far:Spreadsheet content inside AEM Authoring looks correct Source content is UTF-8 encoded Frontend rendering path is correct Generated JSON already contains the replacement characterThis makes us think the issue may happen somewhere in the spreadsheet → JSON publishing pipeline, possibly related to charset handling during transformation.Has anyone experienced something similar when using EDS with AEM Authoring and spreadsheet-based content? Are there any known encoding considerations, charset configurations, or best practices we should review? Thanks in advance!
Hi, The client is asking which Meta permissions are required by AJO to generate and use the access token for the WhatsApp channel integration. In a community thread, I saw that the following permissions were mentioned as required:whatsapp_business_manage_events whatsapp_business_management business_managementHowever, the client is requesting official clarification or documentation explaining why these high-level permissions are necessary. So my questions are:Are these the exact permissions AJO requires when integrating with the WhatsApp Cloud API? Is there any official documentation that explains why these specific permissions are needed? Thanks
I wanted to know that can we get the public URL of an asset using Asset Management in AJO and then use that URL in AJO email designer in HTML code view.I know that we can select the assets directly from assets menu but I am looking into an alternative using the public URL of assets.
Description - We would love to be able to freeze columns in a workfront report Why is this feature important to you - while teams need all columns, they want to be able to quickly view key columns that change priority quickly and easily How would you like the feature to work - be able to turn on and off freezing easily and adjust which column freezes Current Behaviour - we are aware of creating separate views, but freezing would work much better for the users
Think Excel. It would be great to be able to freeze the first column (or columns even) if you have a report with lots of columns. That way you could horizontally scroll, but keep the important column(s) at the beginning and frozen as you scroll over. Also if you fix that horrible breaking when there a too many columns, that would be awesome as well.
Hi Team,Could you please help me.We have put condition activity after Read Audience. In Condition activity, we have to split EML population Vs not EML population. Here attribute exclusionType is String Array storing multiple values like EML, AMB, EFG etc and customerAttributes is Object. We need to split the audience based on exclusionType=EML and others. We tried with below condition but it seems like the profile whoever having first position(index) stating as EML is only fetching in condition. It means if any profile having exclusionType=EML on 2nd or 3rd or so forth position, is not at all coming.Advanced Expression using as:#{ExperiencePlatform.ProfileFieldGroup.profile._abc.customerAttributes.exclusionType} == ['EML']Please help here - we need to check EML value at any position in exclusionType attribute.
Hi, Looking for some ideas and support here - I am the admin for a financial services company, we have lots of regulations. We received a request that we now need to have our approvers “certify” that they checked the asset in the proof for x, y, z. My initial thought is to add a custom form to the document but this would be brand new behavior for our approvers to fill out and don’t love this. We also had someone bring up adding a comment, I also don’t love this because it is manual and think that we will be chasing down approvers to add this (also will mess up my automated workflows). Has anyone ever experienced this or has any idea? TYIA
Description - Currently, delegated assignees are emailed once to notify them they are assigned as a delegated person. It does not send real-time notifications each time an approval is sent to the original person. It should reroute the approval request and email to the delegated. Why is this feature important to you - Requesters are not always checking their widgets. Without notifications, you're asking the requester to check in Workfront like a hawk to know if a new approval was sent. How would you like the feature to work - Notifications should be sent in real-time much like they do for a normal document or proof approval. Send the notification to the delegated person that there is a document that needs their review and decision. Current Behaviour - One email is sent at the time of the delegation. The original person is then out of office. The production teams send approval requests and the delegated person does not get notifications or emails of new approvals.
