I have created a custom field called "Product Scope," which is a multi-select dropdown. I want to track the changes made to this field, so I added it to the Update Feeds. When I update the field, I can see the logs in the Updates section of a project. However, when I remove 2 values and select 2 different values, it creates 4 separate log entries. Is this the expected behavior? The audit log says, "User updated Product Scope to Value1," which implies that the Product Scope is now only "Value1." However, since this is a multi-select field, there are other selected options as well.Do you also see this in the Updates section for Multi-select fields?
Hi Community, we are ingesting customer profile data into AEP via batch ingestion into a profile-enabled dataset. The batch runs show as successful in Monitoring and the data is visible in the dataset preview. However the Real-Time Customer Profile is not reflecting the updated attributes and our segment membership is not updating even after 24 hours. Identity stitching is configured with ECID as primary identity. We verified the dataset is profile-enabled and the schema has the correct union schema. Batch status shows as Success with no failed records. What could cause profile not to update even when batch ingestion succeeds?
Hello, I am encountering the error code highlighted in the title of this request when i am trying to publishing version 2 of one of my customer journeys. Why 4 is correct not 1?
Hi Smart Brains, I am trying to solve a validation problem here. On the typehead field for choosing campaigns, I want to add a validation to select campaign only created using a particular template. Else I would like to display a message saying this is not the correct type of campaign. Any hints how does that work? Thanks,Nisha
Hi,I’ve missed the last 2 Adobe Target Engineering Webinar’s (#4 and #5). Were these recorded and if so would it be possible to share the links please?
With network maintenance coming up on one Marketo pod, I was asked whether any features wouldn’t be affected during the maintenance period. First instinct: Nope. Everything uses the network, after all: outbound sends, SFDC sync, inbound LPs and forms, API calls and webhooks, etc. But one feature was unclear: unsubscribes driven by the List-Unsubscribe-Post SMTP header. Don’t think anyone looked into this before (like, anywhere). As you probably know, MAPs like Marketo comply with major email providers’ List-Unsubscribe requirement for optimal inboxing. They include a List-Unsubscribe-Post=One-Click header, plus a List-Unsubscribe header with a unique <https:> URL. Optionally, the old-school <mailto:> URL can also be included. Here’s an example:List-Unsubscribe-Post: List-Unsubscribe=One-ClickList-Unsubscribe: <https://click.example.com/u/NDEwLVhPUi02NzMAAAGhsh1UUD4gY6H_B7Njx0Jc6yQJgFRnh79OM35fojpoyZioqvs37SuRJd8HZ1U99J58MdA5RZg=?emailAddress=NDEwLVhPUi02NzMAAAGhsh1UT80Ef
The SFDC Activity Metric ID and Activity Metric Rollup ID fields are read-only, maintained by Einstein Activity Capture, and their permissions can’t be changed. These fields are not needed by Marketo. Is there another way to prevent them from syncing to Marketo?
Our users are reporting broken functionality inside Workfront’s ProofHQ tools. It also appears the UI has changed slightly, so we suspect there may have been some sort of recent release? I couldn’t find anything conclusive in the release log. Please see screenshot below for a detailed report, but essentially the text selection tools are no longer populating text, line breaks aren’t being respected, and the “edit” button erases all content. We’ve also had users unable to save copy/pasted text. Insights are much appreciated. Thanks!
Hi all, I have created two activities with two different location names for the android app. the activity with the location name bottom-sheet-mbox-fragement is delivering as expected, but the activity with the location name target-global-mbox is not delivering. has anyone faced this scenario before?
Several reports, particularly the correlations, subrelations and complex filters take a good amount of time to fetch. The user ends up navigating to some other work / different site to use the waiting time instead of seeing the waiting icon, sometimes leading to a session expiry. It would be much more useful if the user could be educated and entertained that time in that time by showing up some DidYouKnow stuff about Omniture, some Omniture/SiteCatalyst IQ Puzzles, or simple small games like TextTwister, Tiles etc which could be paused and kept to side as soon as the report arrives. (Omniture - You could even use it to upsell Discover, T&T etc.) The Exit rates from Omniture would go down significantly if that is done.
Hello :)I'm trying to find this object in layout templates to turn it off - approvals tab in documents. I was able to find and hide the approvals tab in all other objects but can't find this one. I can't find document in this list to edit the side panel the way I did for the others. What am I missing?
Can a validation rule be setup that only allows users from a particular group to access a form field? I’m trying something along these lines but I can’t get the syntax correct.IF($$USER.groupIDs="69fcf9d70002183a0944fbb90b78a5ab", "Only members of the LP Approval group can edit this field.")Any help would be appreciated.ThanksFrank
Currently [1] the option “Restore content” in the Cloud Manager gives you the opportunity to restore content of the whole environment. Here the problem is that you can only restore ALL content. If you are hosting just a small website, this would be not a problem. But if you imagine an enterprise setup for a company with several business groups who act independently, having multi-language and multi-sites, this option is not feasible. Imagine the following: you have a business group under the structure /content/business-a - here some content accident occurs which needs a content restore. Now, the content restore would effect everything under /content which means that you have to inform and coordinate ALL businesses about the restore as the work after the date where issue occurred and the point were you start restore will be gone and needs to be redone. Additionally, the editors a spread all over the world, so you can not really be sure that you reach everybody to inform them in time. So,
Hi everyone,I’m working on a large-scale DAM migration in Adobe Experience Manager using CopyMoveAssetCommandBuilder, and I’m trying to understand the best strategy for maintaining publish consistency after asset moves. The main issue I’m facing is that CopyMoveAssetCommandBuilder updates references, but it does not seem to return the list of modified resources/paths affected by the operation (or at least I haven’t found a way to retrieve them).Example: Asset is moved from one DAM path to another References inside Content Fragments are updated Pages consuming those Content Fragments are indirectly affected However, I don’t have a reliable way to identify all modified resources that should be republished This becomes a major problem at scale because: Content Fragments may remain unpublished with stale references Pages consuming those fragments may also need republication The dependency chain can become quite large Manual traversal is expensive for hundreds of thousands of ass
Can we have add-on Adobe Workfront plugin/extension for AEM Universal Editor UI to show Adobe Workfront task/assignment context directly inside the AEM Universal Editor UI so authors can see:assigned tasks approval status due dates project metadata workflow state
Hi Team ,We are trying to enable the “Open in new tab / Same tab” option in the Universal Editor RTE hyperlink dialog for the EDS Franklin text component (core/franklin/components/text/v1/text). We added the following configuration based on Adobe documentation:"rte": { "plugins": { "link": { "features": { "target": true } } }, "actions": { "link": { "hideTarget": false } } }However, the hyperlink dialog still only shows:Text Path or URL Titleand the target selection option is not displayed. Could you please confirm whether link target selection is currently supported for the Franklin text component in Universal Editor, or if any additional configuration/customization is required?Thanks.https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/developing/universal-editor/configure-rte
If your AEM multifield saves correctly in Preview or Publish but loses data in Edit mode, it's almost never a caching issue. Here are the three root causes to check in order.1. Missing composite PropertyThis is the most common cause. Your multifield node needs `composite="{Boolean}true"` otherwise AEM writes flat properties instead of child nodes, which behaves inconsistently between edit and publish rendering.<items sling:resourceType="granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/multifield" composite="{Boolean}true">2. Sling Model Reading Wrong StructureWith `composite=true`, AEM stores items as child nodes not a String array. Your Sling Model needs `@ChildResource` not `@ValueMapValue`:// Use this for composite multifield@ChildResourceprivate List<Resource> items;3. WCM Mode Hiding Output in Edit ModeCheck your HTL for `wcmmode.disabled` conditions that might be hiding rendered output specifically in edit mode.Fastest Debug StepOpen CRXDE after saving the dialog. Hi ,My requirement is to access Adobe Campaign Classic campaign details based on Campaign ID or PK from an external tool. As an initial step, I am trying to test the integration using Postman or SOAP UI.For this setup, I need to create an operator/user with API access but without access to the ACC client console (forbidden console access). However, user and access management in our environment is currently handled only through Adobe Admin Console.Could you please help me understand:How can I create such an API-only operator through Admin Console? What would be the recommended process for this setup? Is there any alternative approach or workaround for enabling external API access in this scenario?Thank you for your support.Best regards,Ankita Vishe
Hello,I noticed that for some time periods, the purchase numbers are different between Data Warehouse reports and Workspace dashboards in Adobe Analytics, even though they use the same data.Could it be because of how the data is processed, sampling, or filters? I would really appreciate any advice on how to understand or fix these differences.Thank you very much for your help.
We'd like the ability to add external URLs (hyperlinks) as items within the Documents section of projects, tasks, and issues — similar to how OneDrive allows linked files alongside uploaded documents.Use Case:Our teams frequently reference external resources (SharePoint pages, OneDrive folders, briefs hosted outside Workfront, vendor links, etc.) alongside project work. Right now there's no native way to surface those links in context — users either have to add them to custom form fields or drop them in the Updates section, both of which reduce discoverability.Expected Behavior:In the Documents section: a user can add a URL that appears as a linked item alongside uploaded files, with a display name and the external linkBusiness Impact:Reduces context-switching and improves discoverability of related resources. Teams are currently using workarounds (custom fields, pinned Updates comments) that are inconsistent and easy to miss. Sharepoint option for adding links as a line item in the Do
Hi Community,Sharing a production issue we debugged recently around GraphQL persisted queries and CDN cache invalidation on AEMaaCS. Curious if others have hit this. The Setup:- AEMaaCS with Headless delivery using GraphQL persisted queries- Content Fragments published from Author to Publish- Persisted queries cached at CDN layer (Fastly via Adobe-managed CDN)- Cache-Control headers configured via OSGi: GraphQL servlet max-age set to 7200 secondsThe Problem:After an author publishes a Content Fragment update, the GraphQL persisted query endpoint continues serving stale data for up to 2 hours. The Publish instance returns fresh data immediately if you bypass CDN (hitting Publish IP directly), but CDN-cached responses are not being invalidated on content publish. What we tried:- Verified Replication Agent is working — content reaching Publish ✓- Verified Publish serving fresh data directly ✓- Cache-Control max-age reducing from 7200 → 300 — helped but didn't solve root cause ✓- Dispatcher
Adobe has become much more than just a creative software company. Over the past few years, Adobe Advertising and the broader Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem have played a major role in helping businesses deliver personalized customer experiences across multiple platforms. ()One thing I find particularly interesting is how Adobe combines analytics, audience targeting, AI-driven insights, and cross-channel campaign management into a single ecosystem. This gives marketers the ability to better understand customer behavior and create more relevant advertisements instead of relying on generic campaigns. At the same time, I think there are still challenges for newcomers trying to learn Adobe Advertising products because the ecosystem is very large and enterprise-focused. Many users in online communities mention that there is a steep learning curve, especially for products connected to AEM and Experience Cloud. ()I’d love to hear from others in the community:What has your experience been with
A question that comes up frequently when working with shared Field Groups: does marking a field as Primary Identity in one schema affect other schemas using the same Field Group? And how do you handle required fields that don't apply to your specific dataset? These are two separate concerns that get conflated because they both live in the schema layer.Primary Identity is Schema-LocalMarking a field as Primary Identity is a local decision scoped entirely to that schema. It has zero upstream impact on the Field Group definition or any other schema using it.Identity designation and field group constraints are completely separate layers in AEP's Schema Registry:- Field Group = shared blueprint with structural rules (required, data type)- Schema = local implementation including identity role assignmentsField A stays required everywhere because that constraint is defined at the Field Group level. Field B being Primary Identity in Schema X doesn't change anything for other schemas.Handling Req
Agentic AI is rapidly transforming marketing by enabling autonomous decisioning, content generation, audience creation, and journey orchestration at unprecedented speed. Within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Real-Time CDP, these capabilities are becoming increasingly real—not theoretical. However, with this acceleration comes a critical challenge: control, trust, and governance have not evolved at the same pace as AI capabilities.Without the right governance framework, agentic AI can introduce unintended risks across:Brand safety and consistency Regulatory and compliance adherence Customer experience integrity Decision transparency and explainabilityThe key question is no longer “Can we use AI?” but rather:“How do we scale AI responsibly while maintaining control, trust, and accountability?”This article outlines practical governance models that enable organizations to scale agentic marketing safely and effectively. Why Governance Becomes Critical in A
