I am unable to set properties which already existed property using repository initialization script property cq:allowedTemplates already existed with type "String" but I am trying to set same property with multiple values with type "String[]" causing stopping server error:  org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingHttpContext handleSecurity: Possible reason is missing Repository service. Check AuthenticationSupport dependencies. can you delete/remvoe property using repository initialization script

Hi,I installed service pack 8 on a fresh AEM 6.5 instance in my mac machine. 37 bundles go into Install state which were previously active before service pack. I tried multiple times by setting up fresh instance again but its the same thing. What could be the solution?

Hi everyone, I wanted to pop in to let you know that the ability to rename pins is now available in Preview and it would be great to hear your feedback. It is planned to remain in Preview for two weeks and will be released to Production on October 27, 2022. Also, we've added an improved experience when removing a pin. These options to rename or remove a pin appear in a drop-down menu when you hover over the pin. Find more information here and here.  

Hello Members,I have a AEM 6.5 OSGi framework on-premise Author and Publisher instances running in Windows OS. It was working fine for a long time. We took a snapshot of the Windows server and we used the Window's Services to restarted the Author and Publisher instances. The Publisher instance is running fine, but the Author instance is not. The error.log in Author instance shows the following error:19.03.2021 15:27:41.963 *ERROR* [qtp1031644809-61] org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingHttpContext handleSecurity: AuthenticationSupport service missing. https://github.com/adobe/aem-sample-we-retail-journal/issues/53   The same issue I was facing Breadcrumb was working fine in my local but UAT was not working I followed the above link and fixed the issue it worked in the UAT server. But once deploy to the Production server it is not working.   My code: Page currentPage = request.getResourceResolver().adaptTo(PageManager.class).getContainingPage(request.getResource()); Instead of  @ScriptVariableprivate Page currentPage; Before this fix: It was showing child pages of the root page. All pages were displayed irrespective of the hideInNavigation property.  /content/page1/page2/page3/page4/page5 After Fix: page3/page4/page5   It solved the problem, but it is working fine QA/UAT server but in production server not working. The first thing I teach in Velocity classes is that VTL (Velocity Template Language) is essentially a simpler way to write Java, and totally unrelated to JavaScript. VTL frees you from many Java concerns. You don’t need a main method. You don’t need to think as much about classes and objects (though you’ll be a better developer if you do). We use parent tasks as our agile stories on our Kanban, which results in child tasks being assigned to team members for each story so they can track their work and "what comes next". This has created a challenge for our project managers when adjusting hours per story, since they're spread out across 2-3 tasks rather than just 1. We've had some reorgs in the company, resulting in some departmental/role name changes and restructures. If you have experienced this, have you gone in and just renamed existing roles in WF to map to their new updated naming, OR do you deactivate those existing roles and create new roles? I don't want to overload the system with legacy information, but not sure if there would be downstream impacts later on if we just rename existing active groups/roles? Any insights from those who have been here before? Thanks in advance!

Hello,   I would to find out tags under /content/cq:tags which have been modified after certain date.   I tried using Tools -> ACS AEM Commons -> Tags to CSV Exporter   https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/exporters/tags/index.html   when I just give input under Tag root as /content/cq:tags   and hit Download Tags , it gives tag only till 3 levels    i.e tag path1 {{ tag path1 }},tag path2 {{tag path2}}, tag path3 {{tag path3}} ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,   after tag path3 all empty , 1>why is not giving all the tags also 2>how to get tags  that been modified after certain date.     Regards, Srinivas

I am working with AEM 6.5 and have implemented SAML AuthN using Okta as my IdP.   I added the OSGi, configured Okta and extended the AuthenticationInfoPostProcessor, all appears to be working.   The auth process flow is as follows: siteA.com/some/protected/page.html -> (redirect to) okta.com -> POST siteA.com/saml_login -> GET siteA.com/some/protected/page.html All of that works great, now i add another site siteB and here is what happens with that one. siteB.com (all pages are protected) -> (redirect to) okta.com -> POST siteA.com/saml_login -> GET siteA.com   Okta is intentionally configured to use an endpoint on siteA as that is my main site and okta for SAML login only supports a single redirect URL.   Is this some issue with cookies not being available for the postProcess?Is there a way i can resolve this?   EDIT:So, i think this is a cookie issue. Since my postProcess is on siteA any cookies set by siteB are not sent to siteA after Okta

Like many here, I renew my Marketo certification every 2 years to keep my credential valid. This November was my 3rd time taking the expert exam and my second time renewing. In 2021 the Marketo expert exam got completely upgraded and this time around the champions and power users were involved in writing the test.
