In the fast-paced world of marketing, efficiency is the key to success. This blog post delves into the evolution of EMEA marketing efficiencies using Marketo features and how the best practices from the Americas and EMEA regions were amalgamated to create a truly global instance. Initially, regions were set up separately, which was inefficient, creating challenges and inconsistent branding and customer experiences. From dynamic content to global programs, this journey showcases a 75% reduction in setup time, ensured GDPR and global privacy compliance, increased MQL capture, and enhanced global brand consistency and efficiency. EMEA Efficiency Evolution:The journey begins with the EMEA Efficiency Evolution, highlighting key audience targeting and personalisation strategies. The EMEA region has multiple challenges, with 140 countries, 24 languages, sub-regions, local product standards, GDPR, cultural nuances including differences for addressing a person (m/f) and blocked countr
We found the issue and came to a resolution on this. Basically our issue is this https://www.mail-archive.com/dev@sling.apache.org/msg129314.html. Somewhere between SP11 and 15 the behavior of Synthetic Resources changed to remove the URL suffix and replace it with the component resource type. This behavior is in UrlBuilder in the Sling API. So if you're using a suffix to pass information to your component, it will no longer work. We worked around the issue by using a URL selector instead of the suffix. The SSI feature then creates an include with the selector intact and the component can get it from the URL using the RequestPathInfo.getSelectorString(). Hope this helps!
Migrations are becoming very prevalent in the marketing automation space. A few years ago that was not the scenario. The whole thing was so new that when most businesses installed marketing automation software they were starting fresh. But as the marketing automation space evolving, an increasing number of businesses find themselves wanting or needing to migrate. That might be because of the changing and evolving needs of the businesses. And if you’re considering migrating from Eloqua to Marketo Engage, you’re in the right place. I know you might feel overwhelmed by the process of migrating to another marketing automation platform because you don’t wish to disrupt the workflow. However, I’m here to walk you through the entire migration process successfully. From planning and data preparation to execution and post-migration tasks, I'll cover all the essential steps for a seamless transition. How to Successfully Migrate from Eloqua to Marketo Engag
Scoring in Marketo Engage allows you to build scores for people based on their engagement with your marketing activities and their demographic information. This standard scoring methodology allows sales teams to prioritize follow-up and increase conversion rates. But what do you do if your company has a diverse product line with different sales routing and processes? What do you do when one score isn’t enough? The answer for you might be interest level scoring. Interest level scoring lets people flow through a scoring program dedicated to that particular interest so that only demographic criteria and specific activities associated with that interest contribute to the score. An interest level program flow looks (and works) like this: When a person has their first scoring interaction with an interest monitored by the program, they will be added to the program as a member. The person’s demographic score is calculated and added to the in
I had a customer recently who had to fully resynch their data from Salesforce because of an unfortunate unrecoverable data mishap, and I thought it might be helpful to explain the process and mention some "gotchas" when considering this. Marketo maintains a data value change log in the activity history of every person, so if the problem is due to a list import, it might be possible to simply re-import a new list, re-overwriting that data and correct it. Another more advanced remediation possibility would be to identify the people affected, and pull the data value changes activities from Marketo. Adobe ACS consulting can help with this! We can pull those data value changes and give them to you in a CSV file so you can analyze those changes, and create the necessary "remediation import file" In certain cases.. where the "new" and "old" values are known, ACS can also write a custom solution to revert those values, pulling them from the "old" value in the data value ch

Hi Team, I want to disable the smart tagging on AEM as cloud service, I have tried below things so far : 1. I tried to manage the tags on folders so it should not apply some unwanted tags to newly uploaded assets but it is not working. 2. I tried to disable the smart tagging form folder properties but it is removing complete smart tagging for the folder. From the above image I just dont want the tags names 'Asset Properties: Orientation/ Portrait', how can I restrict the smart tagging feature to just not assigned these tags but only tags like 'stamp', 'red', 'business' etc. Thanks.
I need to update the AEM Scaffolding configuration.Actually, I need to update the Product Thumbnail image based on color or the Default image. But, I am not able to understand how they have mapped these Properties like Product Thumbnail image, hax color. Hi,I am on AEM 6.5 SP 7. Whenever I am trying to author an experience fragment, I am getting below error. Using "Admin" account with full privileges. Could not find anything in logs.. Has anyone faced this before? The content is getting updated when I refresh the page. However, the dialog is not closing on it's own and throwing timeout error with message "Fail to submit the form"

By Christopher Davis and Kevin Scally This is Part 3 of our series on Target Activity Reporting FAQs & Troubleshooting which focuses on instances where Target reporting is done using a third-party tool. Check out Parts 1 & 2 for troubleshooting tips & tricks when using Target as your reporting source, or when using Analytics for Target (A4T) as your reporting source! Response Tokens In general, third-party reporting means that Target activity reporting is being handled by a non-Adobe solution. This is usually achieved by passing Response Tokens contained in a response from Target to some other solution. Response Tokens let you expose information about activities, experiences, responses, geography, profile attributes, etc. in the response from Target. While on their own, they are useful tools for debugging information in the Target Visitor Profile, they can also be used to integrate with third-party solutions. Response Tokens are managed

Hi Team, We are using total 7 RTE's in different tabs for single dialog. bold unbold, italic is not working.sling:resourceType: cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/richtext I checked the ratio, as RTE will work only with maximum 3-4 RTE's. Anybody facing same issue, or have any idea to get this resolved via JS quickly? we are getting this JS error once we are trying to save the dialog. Thanks in advanced!Nikita M
I'm looking to customize the sub sub menu of tables in the RTE plugin. This menu specifically... in the text component, click in the table and then click the table sub menu icon the tool bar will change to just table add/remove items and click this icon that shows this sub sub menu I found a tutorial that showed me how to update _cq_editConfix.xml with the following: <cq:inplaceEditing jcr:primaryType="cq:InplaceEditingConfig" active="{Boolean}true" configPath="inplaceEditingConfig" editorType="text"> <inplaceEditingConfig jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured"> <rtePlugins jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured"> <tracklinks jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" features="*"/> <table jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" features="*"> <tableStyles jcr:primaryType="cq:WidgetCo
You don’t want it with Email Suspended. It doesn’t mess around: if a recipient’s mailserver gave a super harsh “We don’t like you” bounce message, Marketo will block all email to that lead for 24 hours. What’s not formally documented is that Email Suspended, and the related Email Suspended At and Email Suspended Cause, are also set for all other leads that exist at the time of the bounce with the same Email Address. This makes sense, of course. We’re trying to give a decidedly unmellow mailserver time to calm down and accept our email again. So hitting it with another send that qualifies the duplicate lead will just make it madder! You’ll first see Email Suspended Cause set for the specific lead who bounced: Then a moment later you’ll see the duplicate(s) updated: Lead #1132890 is being updated in the second screenshot, but notice how the Reason refers to the bounced lead, #1132889. I was working around setting up DB connection with cosmos DB. Adding the maven dependencies was not working, and I tried the OSGi conversion of the dependency.<!-- https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.azure/azure-cosmos --><dependency><groupId>com.azure</groupId><artifactId>azure-cosmos</artifactId><version>4.52.0</version></dependency>The build is happening fine, but the connectivity is not happening to the cosmos. I believe I removed some imports from the manifest.mf file.Does anyone have an OSGi bundle for the cosmos jar which is functional, or is there a better way to make this work?
You may not have noticed this in your travels, but the _mktoReferrer hidden field is cached when forms2.min.js is loaded — before forms themselves are loaded — and all forms use that cached value. The _mktoReferrer becomes the important Referrer constraint in Smart Lists. That’s how we know the page someone was on when they submitted an embedded form. For a multi-page site — I’d guess 85%+ of corporate brochure sites are multi-page, not sure though! — caching is fine, because a new main document loads when you navigate. Thus forms2.min.js reloads and reads the new document.location.href. But single-page applications (SPAs), by definition, change content and update the Location bar without loading a new document. In this case, forms2.min.js will not load again. With an SPA, the displayed and business-logical URL can change from https://www.example.com/first-product to https://www.exam
Thank you to all customers who attended and participated in today's Learn event, End of Year Reporting in Adobe Workfront, hosted by the Workfront Customer Success Team (@CynthiaBoon, @lspier and @NicholeVargas). Key takeaways included (1) Data without context is dangerous - be sure to communicate the story - this is good vs bad news, (2) Rinse and repeat reports with wildcards and (3) Consistency, communication and cadence - keep everyone informed with automatic report deliveries. In addition, there were a handful of report ideas and best practices shared in the chat, so I've done my best to capture them all in slide 11.
