Adobe Marketo Engage

Hi Team,We have a requirement where a field is currently not available in our CRM as a temporary solution which will be fixed in long term. To support this, we will be receiving an Excel file containing Marketo ID, dollar amount, and revenue for each record. The goal is to use this data within our emails.I’d like to better understand the feasible approach here, as we want to avoid creating new records and instead leverage existing ones and update them. Specifically, I have two questions: Displaying Excel-based values in emails Is it possible to take values such as dollar amount directly from the Excel file and display them in an email? If so, what would be the recommended approach? Applying calculations (e.g., 10% of revenue) We also need to display a calculated value—specifically, 10% of the revenue provided in the file (e.g., if revenue is 5,000, the email should display 500). Hi,In the pref center form in Marketo, there are 22 different client interests (like events, webinars, newsletters…..) which is in checkbox(boolean). Inorder to make it bidirectional, we tried the normal procedure which is creating 22 sfdc custom fields and mapping it with marketo for bidirectional flow)Is there any other way other than this approach (instead of creation 22 individual custom fields), kindly share your thoughts.Thanks!

I have a couple of email templates in my instance, within design studio, that appear with all the options greyed out - I am unable to preview, edit or clone these templates.Although I am still able to create an email using these particular templates, once I do so I am also unable to select the modules tab in the email editor.  I was wondering if anyone has come across this previously, or might know why this could occur? 

Hi Experts,This is my first question in the Marketo Forum so looking forward to get some feedback.We have Marketo system with a backend of SAP Sales Cloud as CRM, everything is working pretty smoothly, We have persons, companies and opportunites replicated to Marketo.We want to start TAM for Account based marketing but we are unable to see the opportunity information even though Person has opportunity information and is linked to a Company which is one of the account in our new named account. What am I missiog here?Looking forward to get some answer!  CheersDhruvin

    For those of us in marketing operations who are wired to crave efficiency, governance and time-saving techniques, Marketo Engage tokens have always been a critical part of our process. Until recently, tokens could be created at a local (program) level or at the folder level within Marketing Activities. Fast forward to today, in addition to still having your tried-and-true local tokens, you now have the ability to create instance-wide tokens that can be applied across any program or folder!    You can add and edit global tokens by going to the Admin tab, navigating to the left-hand side navigation tree and clicking My Tokens. Hi Team , Problem Statement :I’m trying to create interaction buckets in Marketo based on the most recent engagement (email open or click) so we can segment audiences based on how recently they interacted with our emails. The buckets I’m aiming to build are:0–30 days, 31–60, 61–90, 91–120, 121–150, 151–180, 181–210, 211–240, and 241–540 days.The goal is to identify how long it has been since a contact last engaged with us and use these segments for follow-up or re-engagement email campaigns. Current Approach :I created filters using email open and click activities within specific date ranges. However, I’ve noticed some inconsistencies. For example, some records that opened or clicked within the last 30 days are appearing in the 121–150 day bucket.This makes me think I might not be structuring the activity filters or AND/OR logic correctly, or that multiple open/click activities may be affecting the results. What I’m Considering :I have creating a custom field called “Interaction Bucket

I’m trying use velocity scripting to hide an Image placeholder when the Img Src is not populated. The Img Src that populated the image is referencing a PMCF Field. So IF the PMCF field is not generated via API, I want to be able to hide the image placeholder in Marketo is no longer visible when sent a sample.I tried using the below but still fairly new to velocity script. HiIn a Smart Campaign with a trigger like “Email is Delivered,” can I use the Program name instead of the email name so that I can reference all the emails in the program without having to add each email individually?  Would that work? 

Can anyone tell me what the 8% metric in the gray area of the CTO graphic is measuring? Same with the 1.6% gray area in the Clicks graphic. 

Hi Community,We're experiencing an issue in one of our lead scoring campaigns in Marketo. The flow is set up as: Change Status > Wait 5 minutes > Change Score.Most leads follow this correctly, but a few records are skipping the wait step entirely. They enter the campaign, the status changes, and their score updates within seconds - no delay observed.I already reviewed there's no racing conditions. No one updated the campaign in between. I am assuming this can be a priority issue.Has anyone seen this before? What could be the possible reasons? Any insights, troubleshooting tips, or solutions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm trying to add Gmail Annotation into a token via email script and haven't had much luck finding any examples.I've added this script and token to the <head> of my email template, but I don't know what to add to the Email Script Token. Hi everyone,I’m encountering an issue related to “Registered Error” statuses in a Marketo webinar program.For one of our webinars, we see about 60 members with the status Registered Error in the Program Members tab. Most of these records were originally marked as Registered but later moved to Registered Error after Salesforce created duplicate records and merged them. The total number of registrants coming from Marketo aligns correctly with Adobe Connect data.However, when I try to pull these same members using a Smart List with the filter Member of Program → Status: Registered Error, only a small portion of those records appear. Many of the individuals shown in the Program Members tab are missing from the Smart List results.We need to locate these members to update their status to No Show, since they did not attend the webinar.Has anyone experienced this behavior before, and were you able to find a solution or workaround?Thanks in advance for any insights!

We’re looking to enable a generic URL for joining the live session of a Marketo Interactive Webinar, so it can be shared on non‑Marketo landing pages and used by anyone to join the event. We also want to include the ICS calendar file on the external page.Has anyone encountered a similar situation, and is there any recommended workaround?

We have a large number of emails that we’d like to archive or unapprove to avoid accidental sends. Is there functionality in Marketo to do that?  Also, is there functionality to set emails to expire approval after a particular period of time or can you use a workflow to do that?  Thanks in advance for any insights!
