Hi all. I'm trying to create a report that shows how tasks, which we treat as requests for deliverables, align with certain company objectives. I've created a custom form field and have added it to a variety of custom forms we use for different requests in which the requestor can select one or more ...

This question is similar to a recent question answered at "https://one.workfront.com/s/question/0D50z00006Px3iKCAR/" https://one.workfront.com/s/question/0D50z00006Px3iKCAR/ this information would be available in a Note report. Since you're looking specifically at Tasks, you would be filtering for t...

Okay - so I found the shortened description text on WF-pro.com, easy peasy. A great site btw if any of you are unfamiliar with it. I am trying to pull the shortened project description into a task report. This seems like it should be possible by referencing the object type in the text, but as usual,...

I'm probably going to make a hash of trying to explain the EXISTS FILTER but here it is, explained as I understand it. You have to be able to know how to read the API EXPLORER a bit before trying this: PROBLEM: Show me projects where portfolio owner is no longer active in a PROJECT report. SOLUTION:...

Hi Kirsten, One thing I can think of is that you could create a custom column in text mode that limits the length of the strings. Then, to Narayan's point, have a view that allows you to edit the fields versus view these limited strings. Think: SUBSTR({string},number of start position, length of str...

I have a need to filter an hour report ideally by the teamID of the logged in user and am not seeing a pretty way to do it. For example, a manager in our company has 5 teams that roll up to him, and I want him to be able to see only hours reported by the users that report to him. Does anyone have ex...

Hi, I am trying to install the interactive proof viewer. It installs fine on my PC. On the Mac, it opens, I get to the continue or cancel. I hit continue and it closes. Any one have any ideas? Kristine Ross Great West Life & Annuity Insurance Company

Good morning, I was wondering if anyone knew of any filters I could apply to a schedule to help our employees only see what they need to do. For our production jobs we have multiple drops/blasts within a project. We have a parent task, Drop 1, Drop 2 etc. and then children tasks underneath that has ...

I'd like to run a report that gives me the count/number of times an object was rejected during the approval process. Does anyone have any idea how I would do that. Or even which approval valuefield I would use? Kristy Musgrove Havertys

I was hoping to use the Typeahead - User Object field on a custom form to record attendees in a meeting. But it doesn't look like you can select multiple users in this field. Anybody know a work around? If not I'll just add a text field. Kristy Musgrove Havertys
