The Cookbook is back! This time, we're highlighting the widely popular and ever-customizable Adobe Workfront Fusion solution. With 11 new recipes to try from both employees and customers, we hope you're excited to break out your spatulas and mixing bowls to try these Fusion "recipes" in your own Workfront kitchens. Check out the PDF attached to this thread to start cooking!

Spread out across industries, departments, teams, positions, and all in different companies, some reports are simple (but incredibly useful), and some are more complex to take your workflows to the next level.

Here's a sneak peek of some of the recipes:

  • Getting Started with Adobe Workfront Fusion Templates
  • Move New Documents from the Original Issue to Resolving Project
  • Automating Data Attributes
  • Integrating Workfront to JIRA (and vice versa)
  • And more!

A big shoutout to Jason B. (@Jason_JB, Olive), Brandon P. (@BrandonNW, Nationwide), Veronica B. (@vbright, Accenture), and Ewan H. (@ewanh, Adobe) for contributing several Fusion recipes each across a variety of use cases! We have worked closely with these Fusion experts to compile these Fusion recipes in a snackable, easily digestible, cookbook for you to take back and test out.

If you have any questions, comments, or feedback about the Cookbook, feel free to let us know in the comment section below.

Thanks for sharing. It is great to see what Fusion can do, I particularly like the idea of "Move New Documents from Original Issue to Resolving Project" - can this be done in reverse based on a custom field? For example, if a field named "share" was selected this triggers the file to move to the request?

@Matt_McC - Absolutely! You would need to have the custom field on the document object to avoid sending all documents to the request, but that should be easy enough.   You could use that field as the trigger in a stand alone scenario, or add it to an existing scenario using a separate router. I think you would also need to utilize the External Reference ID field on the document as a way to filter out documents that have already been moved. If you don't have a "flag" on the object to say it's already been moved, it would keep copying the same file every time the scenario runs. There are probably some other stipulations to consider, but bottom line is, it is definitely possible!

I also love the Cookbook it has given us many ideas of what we can do with our Fusion instance!

I'm late to the party here, but the Jira/Workfront scenario was exactly what I'm looking to do. Thanks for that contribution!

Hi @jon_chen, could you please tell me if there is a new version of the Cookbook for 2024?

Thanks for sharing this! It's helped me explain to others what Fusion can do. Fingers crossed that we can have a 2024 edition of the cookbook.

Hi @Jared_Mauch @IhorNahirnyi ! Thanks for your interest in a follow up cookbook. While we don't not have a next iteration planned, I will look into this to see if we can spin up another one for Fusion.

Is it possible to take the transfer of the document in an issue to a project a little further and have it added to a particular folder within the resolving project or is that too granular?

I.e. Our resolving projects have folders in Documents automatically and it would be nice if the submitted documents went into the "Stakeholder Files" folder automatically.
