NEW! Reporting 8-Step Guide

Reporting in Workfront can feel like a maze. With so many fields, filters, views, and groupings, it’s easy to get stuck wondering: Where do I even start?

That’s exactly why we created the strategic guide, 8 Steps to Create Simple, Effective Reports in Adobe Workfront—a practical and comprehensive checklist to help you cut through the confusion and start building reports that are clear, purposeful, and easy to use while providing resources and recommendations to help you along the way.

This guide isn’t designed to replace the in-depth reporting training available on either Experience League or Adobe Digital Learning Services. Instead, it complements those resources—acting as a hands-on starting point or quick reference tool that can easily be shared with your team.

Speed Over Perfection: Why Content Velocity is a Gamechanger

Content demands are exploding in 2025—Adobe reports 43% of marketers must dramatically increase output while maintaining personalization, yet most organizations are struggling with outdated content supply chains. The secret to staying competitive? A hidden Adobe Workfront feature that most teams completely overlook. By leveraging "secret values" in custom forms, savvy marketers are automating prioritization, streamlining workflows, and accelerating content velocity at scale. Read more about leveraging these values in this blog by consultant Jenn M.!

Workfront for “New” Microsoft Teams – Update

Microsoft will end the availability of Classic Teams client on July 1, 2025. In preparation, we are developing a new version of the Microsoft Teams integration that will be fully compatible with the New Teams client and available before July 1 to ensure a smooth transition.

Details on how customers can download and install the integration in the New Teams client will appear on Experience League after the integration is available.

Workfront for Microsoft Outlook – Update

Microsoft is in the process of disabling support for legacy Exchange online tokens, which are currently used by the Workfront Outlook add-in for authentication. After Microsoft fully disables these tokens, the Workfront for Microsoft Outlook integration will no longer function.

As part of this change, Microsoft has made the decision to change the way tokens are re-enabled. After June 30, 2025, admins will no longer be able to re-enable tokens themselves—only Microsoft Support can grant exceptions. After October 1, legacy tokens will be turned off for all tenants. Exceptions will not be granted.

Building custom UIs with Fusion (Part 1 and 2)

Sometimes certain UIs requested by your stakeholders may be hard to realize in core Workfront. In this blog by Community Advisor Sven N., he covers a unique Fusion webhook approach that fills the gap. Learn how to transform Fusion into a custom dashboard generator using webhooks, HTML templates, and external pages—complete with real examples like template backup systems and milestone reporting tools that work. The method leverages Fusion's existing modules to create interactive dashboards that solve requests you previously had to decline, turning limitations into opportunities for advanced solutions. Read the full technical walkthrough and implementation guide.

In the second part of this walk through, Sven covers conditional branching for program ID lookups, webhook parameter handling, and the exact Fusion expressions required to make dynamic searches work across project and program contexts. See the complete scenario breakdown with real examples here.
