Hey experts, I am using EDS (Document based authoring) approach to build a website for a client. The following is the structure I have for my site:- /- - en--- us--- ukI have two query-index.xlsx sheet set up, one in en/us and one in en/uk. I have not defined a custom index (no helix-query.yaml file setup). Before, I was able to publish pages within en/us and they would show up in the query-index, and the same for en/uk. However, they don't show up anymore. What could be the issue? How do I debug it? It is crucial that the query-indexes work perfectly as they are an important piece of the experience.
Authors: Raminder Singh, Praneeth Palevela, Manjeet Singh Nagi, Prithwiraj Gupta and Pratul Kumar ChakravartyIn today's fast-paced automotive market, data is constantly streaming in from every direction—dealership visits, online inquiries, test-drive bookings, and much more. However this abundance of information can become a liability if duplicates run rampant. This blog delves into the details of a real-time data deduplication solution for Data Ingestion to Adobe Experience Platform(AEP) which can help organizations maintain trustworthy and high-quality data without manual intervention. Our goal here isn’t just to lay out the technical roadmap, but to highlight how real-world challenges—like ballooning data sets and time-sensitive marketing decisions—can be tackled through a well-orchestrated data pipeline. We believe that having reliable, deduplicated data in near real time is instrumental for personalized experiences. Our problem statement is with one of the Automotive Indus

🎶✨ If you missed my Adobe Workfront Skill Exchange session at Adobe Summit last week, "Project Management and System Admin Best Practices 'Through the Eras'," you're in for a treat! My amazing colleague, Elysia Huntington, and I took the stage to share insights from two perspectives: the system admin's and the power user's. We took you on a Swiftie-themed journey through Qualcomm's ‘Eras’ of workflow transformation. Here are 5 key takeaways from the session from a system admin perspective to avoid any "Bad Blood" with your teams: 1. ✍️ "But I've got a 'Blank Space' baby and I'll write your name..." When setting up a blank instance, start strong! Utilize features like calculated fields on user custom forms, customize fiscal years if your org works with them, and create custom statuses and access levels. These steps will set the foundation for a smooth and organized system. 2. 💄 “Cause we’re never
Any Workfront users that use Workfront for something other than Marketing Campaigns? Looking to connect with other Workfront Users that use Workfront for more than marketing. We are a manufacturing company that uses Workfront as our Operational System of Record. I would like to connect during Summit if possible. We will have 3 sys admins from our company attending this year. Looking forward to Networking at Summit!!!
I am trying to figure out how to verify that all required fields are filled upon clicking the signature field. Currently, they are only being verified after the digital signature is added and the submit button is clicked. Upon adding a digital signature, the form has you save it locally. We are finding that users are just emailing the saved signed copy rather than filling the required fields when the submit button is clicked. I'm pretty new but am a quick learner. Thank you.
AUTO-PERSONALIZATION ACTIVITY SETUP RECOMMENDATIONS | ACTIVITY QUALIFICATIONAdobe Target's auto-personalization activity type, which is sort of the multi-variate version of machine learning, has a bunch of unique and useful features. AP, as with all Target activities, has the ability to target at the activity level. For example, if you want only visitors in California to qualify for the activity, you can set the audience qualification criteria with a geo-based audience. With auto-personalization, you also have the ability to set what we usually refer to as “offer level targeting”. In other words, certain offers can be set up with qualification audiences. For example, you might have a credit card offer, but you only want it available to visitors that do not currently have that credit card. One critical thing to keep in mind is that every visitor must have an available offer in every location to actually qualify for the whole activity. TIP/RECOMMENDATION: In Auto-Personalization,
Early February Adobe brought the new Email Designer to Marketo. The UI of this new designer is a much welcomed improvement to what we have been used to. There are lots of things in there to be enthusiastic about. The way fragments can be stored as independent ‘modules’ for re-use and the high level of flexibility in being able to lock content are already great features. Not to even start about the fact you can create your own templates without much in terms of html experience. Yet, there are questions to be answered with the current release. So, what is available right now? In Marketo instances that have migrated to the new Adobe IMS, any user can be granted access to the new Email Designer. With that access, you can create and edit both email templates and emails using the new UI. You can do this inside Design Studio, in a separate folder from where your existing emails and templates live. You can also create emails using the new Email Designer inside Email Programs. In the ne
We’re building out an account-based referral program for a client. The program lets people invite colleagues to in-person events. It’s like “Forward to Friend” on PEDs. An email preview needs to accompany the referral form, and rather than the huge time suck of manually creating thumbnail images, we realized the standard “View as Web Page” (VAWP) would be perfect if we could get it into an <iframe>: Turned out to be net-easy — though, as with many such projects, 10% harder than you might think! Set up the HTML and CSS First, the <iframe> and some critical styles and attributes: <style> iframe#emailWebView { pointer-events: none; user-select: none; } </style> <iframe id="emailWebView" scrolling="no" tabindex="-1"></iframe> The HTML attributes scrolling and tabindex, together with those two CSS “event neutralizing” styles, make the <iframe> behave like a static image so it can’t be accidentally clicked or selected.* Se
Morning -Creating forms in AEM Designer 6.5.21, saving as static forms extended for Reader. When opening the form in Acrobat links in Text objects are fine and appear in tab order, whereas links in a field caption do not. In other words, Acrobat does not tab to an inline link in a field cation. When using JAWS on the attached, the links in field captions are read with the full caption ("link. Checkbox with an inline link. link"), which means that the caption is now read three times. The button link is is read using the Custom Text.Sooooo.....Can we please have Acrobat tab to inline links in field captions? And please don't tell me that I have to make button objects for every single link - here are SOME of the problems with that, all of them making forms production extremely inefficient:The button has to be placed with correct spacing on top of the caption The caption will now read only the text in the caption and not the link text. This has to now be remediated:You can add the link t
Do you tend to keep and leave deactivated users in their home groups and teams or do you remove them? Until now, we've kept deactivated users in their home groups and teams. We've got about 400 deactivated users in our instance, and I'm wondering if we should create a deactivated users group and move them there.
In the age of data-driven decision-making, the ability to quickly analyze and act upon customer data is not just an advantage; it's a necessity. BI tools such as Power BI help businesses visualize and interpret their data, while Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (CDP) has transformed the management and activation of customer information. However, the real magic happens when these two powerhouses are directly integrated. This integration, coupled with the capability to author additional insights data models directly within the Adobe Real-Time CDP using Data Distiller, is not just beneficial—it's critical. The Value of Direct IntegrationImmediate Access to Data: Direct integration between Power BI and Adobe Real-Time CDP eliminates delays inherent in transferring data between systems. This immediacy allows businesses to react to customer behaviors and market trends, making decisions that are both timely and informed.Reduced Complexity: By streamlining the data pipeline, direct integr
Hi, I'm looking for a simple (preferably OOTB) way to prevent certain assets from being deleted in AEM. These assets all pdfs, they share a specific tag, and they each are a source to a live copy. The expiration date feature is not an option for this specific use case. Any recommendations on this? I'm guessing the answer is building a workflow, however I have very limited experiences with this AEM feature. Thank you,Morgan
Hi,We have a requirement where if a user clicks on an asset and then presses the browser back button, the scroll bar should not go to the top but should remain at the asset that was clicked earlier. This functionality is crucial for maintaining a seamless user experience, as it prevents users from losing their place on the page.Example:Step 1: Suppose a user clicks on the asset. Step 2: The asset is opened, and now if the browser's back button is clicked. Step 3: The scroll bar goes to the top.Step 4: However, we want the functionality where the scroll bar remains at the asset that was clicked earlier. We would appreciate your assistance in implementing this feature. Thanks & Regards,Vishal Jain
In an AEM Sites implementation with the integration of Adobe Commerce using the CIF add-on and components, we want to expose information through content fragments in a structured manner for a headless use case. In testing, we correctly obtain the internal values, such as the product ID and category ID. However, I would like to be able to obtain, for example, product information such as the name, slug, etc., and the category name. Is this possible? I am sharing the query I am currently using and the data types I'm talking about. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

This blog post aims to demystify the “Person is Pushed to Marketo” trigger and clear up what it is, why you might want to use it, and show you how to use this trigger. Explanation A lot of people incorrectly assume that the “Person is Pushed to Marketo” trigger will fire when a lead syncs from your CRM to Marketo. This is NOT the case. The “Person is Pushed to Marketo” trigger and “Person was Pushed to Marketo” filter will ONLY run when the Push Lead to Marketo API call is made. As shown in the API docs the “Push Lead to Marketo” API request can be used to upsert a lead i.e. create a new lead or update an existing lead, with field values specified in the body of the request. This API request can be used for lead capture events e.g. when you have a non-Marketo form you can send the lead information to Marketo using this request. Body of the “Push Lead to Marketo” API request The “programName” and “input” parameters must be specified in

Hi Team, Our AEM project test cases are Junit4 based. Recently we added Junit 5 dependency as well in POM.Line causing below exception (with JUNIT 4, It used to work perfectly fine)context.load().json("/empFile.json", "/emp");empFile.json:{"empID": "xx57jmf","empType": "regular","personalinfo": {"name": "ABC","geo": [{"id": "geo_456","coordinate": "xf73hj"},{"id": "geo_456","coordinate": "xf73hj"}],"education": [{"state": "Milan","duration":"4"}]}} Almost all test cases are throwing below error: org.apache.sling.jcr.contentparser.ParseException: Multivalue array must not contain maps/objects.
Hi All, I am trying to create a translation job where the job gets created successfully but on trying to rename the job it usually keeps loading with 500 server error pointing to issue with granite.min.js. Also noticed console errors like DuplicateDefinitionError as below in coralUi3 when project is opened. Trying to rename the projectIf we scroll to bottom of the page with many jobs on the page we see DuplicateDefinitionError again.Try to rename the job when the scroll is in between the page rename works fine w/o any errors in console.so the issue is mostly on scrolling to the bottom page.Any suggestions to fix and what could have caused the issue?
Dear All, I have one scheduler called asset test in my AEM6.5SP22 environment. This scheduler runs at 8:30 AM, on every Monday. The scheduler scans through "/content/dam/asset zone" for all newly created assets, checks for missing metadata and sends notification email to the author who created the asset as shown below ********************** ASSET SCHEDULER IN AEM 6.5 ********************@Designate(ocd = AssetTest.Config.class) @Component(service = Runnable.class) public class AssetTest implements Runnable { @ObjectClassDefinition(name = "Test Asset Creation Notifier", description = "Cron-job with SQL statement to send emails to users who uploaded assets.
