Hi there, I have a full subscription and I plan on taking lots of trainings. Since I will be training with little kids at school, I wonder what are the limitations? Is this a full hands-on participation class? Can I go offline for half-hour during the session? If I'm late (1 hour) in logging in, will I get dropped? Please explain to me the process of these virtual trainings so I can plan ahead. Thank you!-Leo

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/forms/customize-aem-forms/custom-appearance-widget-adaptive-form.html?lang=en#introductionSeems custom-appearance-archetype is very old and mvn even cannot build the project after generated. Also, there's no working example and code bundle for this. The reason we want this is the AEM forms dropdown is not adaptive on small device when the option is very long, it cannot word-wrap.Please help.

Adobe Digital Economy Index: Flight bookings pick up, e-commerce surges in the U.S. and globally by Taylor Schreiner Abstract When 100 million vaccines were administered in the Unites States and a round of stimulus checks were delivered, Americans’ online spending habits began to shift once again. That’s the key takeaway of the latest Adobe Digital Economy Index, which examines the impact on travel and e-commerce trends. The report measures transactions of seven of the top 10 U.S. airlines, eight of the top 10 U.S. hotels, and 1 trillion visits to retail sites, including more than 100 million SKUs in 18 product categories. For the first time, Adobe is also providing a global view of e-commerce based on direct transaction data in over 80 countries across 3 regions (Americas, APAC, EMEA) — more than any other technology company or research firm. The findings paint a picture of growing consumer confidence and interest in travel, as more Americans get vaccinated. At the same time, it ce
Adobe announces availability of B2B Edition of Adobe Real-time CDP by Brian Glover Abstract A dramatic shift in B2B buying toward more digital, self-serve options has led to a steady decrease in the amount of time buyers spend with vendors when considering a purchase — as little as 17 percent of their time across all potential suppliers according to Gartner. This shift is ushering in a new era of B2B customer experience centered around respect for a buyer’s time, process and privacy, and this means showing a deep understanding of the customer — the individual people, their preferences and their business — to earn their attention and engagement. There’s a lot at stake when it comes to partnering with the right vendor — for the buying teams and the companies making the purchase. Suppose you’re about to spend thousands and potentially millions of dollars with a company. Your experience leading to that purchase is your best indicator of what your experience will be with the vendor after
Announcing new Adobe Experience Manager capabilities for rapid delivery of brand experiences by Loni Stark Abstract When you provide an amazing brand experience, your customers are more likely to return, and tell family and friends about their positive experience. This is what every brand strives for when they think about winning in customer experience management (CXM). And yet, what we hear about more often are the bad experiences. Maybe it’s that a brand lost an important order. Or that a brand isn’t getting any customer feedback, because their content isn’t relevant or interesting to whom it’s being served. A part of the challenge is that most organizations don’t realize that the content they are creating isn’t appealing to their customers. Another issue: enterprises often suffer from departmental silos, meaning the various business units that touch the customer experience don’t realize how their separate decisions impact the overall customer journey. As consumers continue to rai
Adobe Summit 2021: Driving business growth in the digital economy by Adobe Blogs Abstract Today we kicked off Adobe Summit 2021, the world’s largest digital experience conference, and our second year hosting it entirely digital, and free. COVID-19 has brought an unprecedented new reality into our business environment and has forced the world to quickly transition to a digital-first economy as digital has essentially become the only way for people to connect, work, learn, and be entertained. Global commerce continues to see record-breaking growth with $876 billion in the first three months of 2021 (up 38 percent YoY) and $4.2 trillion expected for the year. This year, we’re introducing innovations and new features across Adobe Experience Cloud including new enterprise applications with Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, and our next generation Real-time Customer Data Platform (CDP). We’re also introducing our industry-leading Marketing System of Record through
Adobe named a leader in Forrester Enterprise Marketing Software Suites Wave Q2 2021 by Amit Ahuja Abstract Adobe leads the way in Customer Experience Management Like anyone, we love kudos. But there is a bigger story here beyond Adobe being named a leader. The new customer-centric, data-driven reality is pushing brands into a brave new world of Customer Experience Management, or CXM. Customers have made it clear that they are not just interested in products, they are captured by experiences, and those experiences happen across a growing set of channels. Adobe is the leading technology vendor capable of facilitating the digital transformation required to enable and execute Customer Experience Management. But analysts reports are an important tool for identifying and recognizing vendors capable of delivering on that vision. What is required? Of course, any successful EMSS vendor must excel in many areas, but Forrester calls out three primary areas that EMSS customers should look for:
Adobe announces new solutions to improve ecommerce experience for Adobe Commerce by Jason Woosley Abstract COVID-19 was one of the defining moments of 2020, and its impact on how we connect, work, shop and entertain ourselves still reverberates today. One of the most profound shifts we’ve seen during the global pandemic is the significant and almost immediate acceleration in ecommerce. According to Adobe’s Digital Economy Index, the pandemic gave ecommerce an extra $183 billion boost in the U.S. within the last year, as consumers flocked online to meet their daily needs and mitigate the spread of the virus. And, as significant as the changes were on the consumer side, the shift to digital among companies serving business buyers was even more dramatic. According to a McKinsey report, 85 percent of business-to-business (B2B) companies shifted their models to include digital commerce in 2020. In today’s digital economy, the idea that brands must better understand their customers’ path t
I am trying to add the styles plugin to one of my newly created component. I am following the instructions from https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/administering/operations/configure-rich-text-editor-plug-ins.html?lang=en#operations. The Documentation says, addition of the 'styles' node under rtePlugin node should automatically render the plugin symbol on dialog. But even after adding the necessary properties, some features, I am still unable to view any styles plugin icon in both dialog and dialog full screen. I have attached the code i am using for _cq_dialog. <jcr:root xmlns:sling="http://sling.apache.org/jcr/sling/1.0" xmlns:cq="http://www.day.com/jcr/cq/1.0" xmlns:jcr="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/1.0" xmlns:nt="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/nt/1.0" jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" jcr:title="Temp Dialog" sling:resourceType="cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog"&
Quick post today to provide reference on the Touchpoint Position “Pending” that you might see in Buyer Attribution Touchpoint (BAT) reports. Marketo Measure (fka Bizible) has 4 milestone Touchpoint Positions: First Touch, Lead Creation, Opportunity Creation, and Closed. If you have access to the Custom Attribution Model though, you might have added other Touchpoint Positions such as MQL or Demo Scheduled. Here comes the curveball… when you’re looking at a Buyer Attribution Touchpoint report, you might also see a Touchpoint position of Pending. Here is what it would look like: Pending is stamped as the TP Position when the Opportunity is still open because Attribution credit must always add up to 100%. To elaborate further, if you’re using the Full Path Model (22.5% to FT, LC, OC, Closed and the remaining 10% to any middle touches) and the Opportunity is still Open, the 22.5% credit that is allocated to Closed must go somewhere. So Marketo Measure has the tempora

Does a form created by Adobe Lifecycle Designer limit write access to one person so that if another person opens the file after a person has the form open, he/she will be restricted from making data entries to prevent overwriting and duplication? I want users to enter their inputs into a common file for centralization.
Hi All,We have a serious issue with AEM InvokeService (i.e. guidelib.dataIntegrationUtils.executeOperation() ) and guideBridege.validate() as the invokeService never terminates after guideBride.validate() returns true. We have an adaptive form consisting of 6 tabs and 6th tab is Review and Submit. Once user clicks on Submit button(type="button"), i will run guideBride.validate on each tab and once it returns true, i will invokeService which could be either POST (If user hasn't saved the form) or PUT operation. If I disable the validation then the form gets submitted but if i enable the validation, it shows the errors messages for all required fields if they are left blank and finally control goes to executeOperation but never exits. In the sample code below we are never going to see "after fdm" in the console after successfull validation. But if i disable guideBridge.validate then form will get submitted and we can see the log message "after fdm" in browser console.var operationInf

Webify PDF Files in AEM using Adobe Cloud APIs by KM Robin Abstract With the introduction of SDKs in Adobe’s Document Cloud Platform, connecting the magic to Adobe Experience Manager just feels natural. Managing PDF files on web pages is not a new thing, but the process has never been so intuitive. Let’s take a look at the foundations by solving a sample problem statement (derived from recent conversations with a couple of Adobe customers). Problem Statement: An organization XYZ has recently discovered the need to focus on the content of type PDF from its internal divisions across geographies (most of them are using AEM for Content Management). These PDF files need to be put on the web and made searchable. About 25 percent of files need a manual summary and internal review before being published as webpages. XYZ would also like to analyze the user behavior in-depth, e.g. time spent by readers, devices used, building trends around search terms to personalize the visitor experience. C
Optimizing the AEM Dispatcher by Optimizing the AEM Dispatcher Abstract After spending a lot of time getting an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environment together, the Dispatcher can sometimes be an afterthought. With all the variables and moving parts, a solid Dispatcher configuration is hard to achieve. And with its structure, it is easy to make small mistakes with large consequences. So, what can you do? Read on to find out. Adobe has open sourced the Dispatcher Optimizer Tool (DOT) that parses and analyzes the Dispatcher configuration based on a set of extensible rules. It provides detailed information about the syntax errors it finds and configuration values that contradict best practices. It even includes the same scanning and analysis for the Apache Httpd configuration, if one is present. The findings are reported complete with file location and line number. Documentation links are included, explaining why the violations are important to fix, and how to fix them. Read Full Bl
Formatting Tips and Tricks for Adobe Document Generation API by Raymond Camden Abstract As you know by now, I’ve been having a fun time playing around with our Adobe Document Generation API service (be sure to see my intro and follow up on complex conditional logic). It provides an easy to use API for generating PDFs and Microsoft Word docs based on a template and your data. Today I’m going to give you a deep dive into another topic — formatting. When I talk about formatting, I’m talking about ways to display information nicer in your documents. Imagine for a moment the following text in your Microsoft Word document: Sales for cat toys and treats over the past year were ${{ salesTotal }}. Now imagine the data sent to our Document Generation API included this value: { // other stuff would be here of course... "salesTotal":45309435 } Read Full Blog Formatting Tips and Tricks for Adobe Document Generation API Q&A Please use this thread to ask the related questions.
