Page specific clientlibs in AEM by @mukeshyadav_ Dear AEM Community,I would like to share a useful solution for enabling page-level control over Client-Side Libraries (Clientlibs) in AEM. Problem Overview: AEM by default allows authors to manage Clientlibs at the template level and component level but there are cases where authors may need the same level of control at the page level. For example, when using JavaScript libraries like Vue.js or React or any micro-frontend module, it is inefficient to load these libraries globally for every page. Additionally, managing the order and placement of these Clientlibs for optimized DOM rendering that is it should load the clientlibs in footer which is ideal for perfect DOM rendering and performance of the page Solution Overview: The solution involves creating a custom page properties that allows authors to control the Clientlibs at the page level without affecting other pages of the same templates. Key Steps: C
Hello, We are currently facing a problem while converting a docx document to a PDF format using Adobe Experience Manager 6.5, The issue arises when the word document contains a double prime symbol (″). Hi all,I'm facing an issue with Universal Editor connecting to my local AEM Author. I'm following react headless tutorial with wknd boilerplate and running local-ssl-proxy --source 8443 --target 4502 / local-ssl-proxy --source 8001 --target 8000 / node universal-editor-service.cjs as recommended. Even so, after added the data-aue-prop, data-aue-type, and data-aue-label (instrument-to-edit-content) the editor tries to fetch CF details from 8443 when selecting the "team members" component and get status 302 with no body to the following endpoints:https://localhost:8443/content/dam/my-project/en/john-doe.4.jsonhttps://localhost:8443/content/dam/my-project/en/alison-smith.4.jsonStill able to add, remove and edit the members and every property of the teams component. But for selecting a CF from the modal I have no options to DAM folders and the same 302 issue in the network console to the following endpoint:https://localhost:
From my understanding, it is common to create multiple content fragments of an object in order to support multiple languages. However, when doing so, we will result in multiple content fragment UUIDs. In such a case, what is the best way to associate these content fragments so that we know they are just different translations of the same object? I have thought of 2 different approaches. 1) Simply using the native "title" field as an ID field, input the same value for the multi-lingual content fragments- This seems to work, but I am not sure if the field should be used as such. And if this will break certain AEM structure in the long run. 2) Adding a custom field called "id" and inputting the same value for the multi-lingual content fragments To be honest, it seems like the AEM content fragment is relatively weak in handling multi-lingual. Other solutions in the market usually bundle all languages in a single object... Or did I miss out some basic principles in
We'd like to build common layout patterns as experience fragments so that an author can drop in a pattern and then break the connection to the XF so that they can directly edit the content on the page. For example, a pattern of heading + 3-columns + cards in each column, or a pattern for a campaign page using an image hero, HTML block, text, icon tiles for unique selling points. We want to do this in order to avoid having to build multiple different templates - that wouldn't give us the flexibility we're looking for as then we have to maintain multiple templates unnecessarily. However, I can't see an option to break the connection to the original XF (eg with an inheritance chain disconnection). I thought this existed but is this only when creating launches?Keen to know if anyone has ideas about how to achieve what I am trying to do.

Hello community, most of users in our instance complain for terrible system performance today. Sometimes WF pages won't load at all, sometimes it would take minutes, sometimes they get errors, and finally sometimes it would just load fine. This seems to be independent of geo location, browser used, internet speed etc. Are you having similar problems today? If confirmed this will hopefully help to escalate with the support as for now they don't see any issue. Let me know and thanks in advance
This is one of my favorite scenarios to date and it is very simple to create yourself. I always hated looking up the system status codes and also love having all my fusion data in one spot. This scenario gets all statuses and puts them into a report that is then added to a dashboard. I have multiple reports that are related to any and all WF IDs including this.Outcome:
The WUG Colorado Chapter kicked off its first session on Aug. 27, 2025. Thank you to everyone that attended and registered for the event. Attached is the deck materials we covered including the links and polls we went through. We will communicate our next event shortly and based on some topic discussion it may be focused on Fusion (How can it help? How can I learn?) and possibly some advanced reporting (textmode) thoughts. If any of you have ideas for things to cover in the next event or may you have a use case you'd like to share to get insights and input from the collective...either way...reply here with those ideas so all can consider.
We continually experience 'proof sync' issues whereby proofs have been approved, but the user's widget is not updated. This is creating huge user dissatisfaction at our senior leadership level. We've been told this is a 'known issue' which is over a year old:This problem is a known issue, that our product team is aware of. This is being addressed in an overall reworking of the proof system. This will be part of a future release and is too complicated a fix to attempt to correct in a bug. We're told to 'self monitor' and open a ticket for each case. We are now at minimum of 3 instances since we started tracking. Is anyone else having this constant issue? Adobe: What is the target fix date? We've been told for months that 'new and enhanced' proofing is coming. WHERE IS IT?
Hi,I am trying to create a few custom search filters onn the AEM Guides Search dialog, as explained in the documents: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-guides/using/install-guide/cs-ig/web-editor-configs-cs/config-text-filtershttps://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-guides/using/install-guide/on-prem-ig/web-editor-configs/conf-custom-file-filtersNOTE : i am trying this over a repository initialized with aem-cloud-sdk-quickstart-2024-11 and aem-guides cloud package 2025.02i did enable metadata extraction in the system/console/configMgr, and ran the "Extract DITA Metada" over the DAM folder where my DITA topics and maps exist; and i do see the extracted metadata under the jcr:content/ditameta node of every topic.however, when i uploaded the modified ui_config.json file to the Global Profile under Tools > Guides > Folder Profiles / XML Editor Configuration, with the following changes to the repositoryFilters , { "t

Is there any information if and when AEM On-Premise (AEM 6.5) will support running on Java 17 or later?I do not want to get stuck with Java 11 forever. 😞
Hi, Groovy console was one of heavily used dependencies in AEM projects I was working on. As far as I understand using the /apps/groovyconsole admin panel will not be an option for AEM as a cloud but I am exploring the ability to run groovy scripts automatically. Could you please advise what is the recommended approach for using groovy console in AEM as a Cloud world ? Do you see any scenario that would be problematic for AEM as a cloud ? Could you also advise what's the recommended way to install groovy console in AEM as Cloud ? In old deployments we just installed a zip package via crx manager but it seems that this is not an option for AEM as a Cloud. I also wonder whether there is a recommended approach for handling content migrations and updates for AEM as a Cloud service?

Hello Community,We are in the process of implementing an integration with Adobe Target. Our goal is to sync the segments from Target, which we are able to do successfully. My question is: if we personalize content in AEM for different audiences, how are the segments resolved? I understand that we need to call Target (using mbox and passing parameters if required), but I would like to confirm—based on the response from Target, is the content on the page updated accordingly? For this implementation, we are not using any A/B testing or experience targeting from Target. We are only pulling the segments and authoring the content in AEM. I want to understand what role Adobe Target plays as an engine in this scenario. If anyone has implemented a similar setup, could you please share your experience or advice? Thank you.

Introduction Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) represents a significant advancement in analytics capabilities, enabling organizations to connect disparate data sources and analyze customer journeys across multiple touchpoints. The potential of this tool is remarkable, with many companies already realizing its benefits. However, like other analytics products and perhaps even more so due to its vast scope, your team's success with CJA depends on defining and understanding the right set of use cases to pursue. A well-defined framework for use case development helps organizations and teams move beyond tactical reporting to strategic analysis that drives business outcomes. Without such a framework, you may find yourself stalled immediately, either haphazardly combining data or uncertain which data to combine. Your colleagues won't know when to leverage CJA's powerful ability to quickly answer unique questions, and your progress with translating customer insights into action wi
