I've had a few engaging conversations lately around access levels and permissions in Workfront. Here are a couple of narratives I've heard: Custom access levels are imperative for system governance If I'm paying for users to have X license, they should be able to do everything with that license for the cost to make sense What value have you seen from putting strong governance in place around access levels and object permissions? Or, on the contrary, why are you not limiting what your users can do? I’d love to gather real-world insights and lessons learned from the Workfront community.
I'm trying to make a paragraph custom field appear when a date custom field meets a specific criteria. IF(ISBLANK({DE:Test Date Field with Logic}),"",IF({DE:Test Date Field with Logic}<ADDHOURS($$NOW,"48"),{DE:To help us better understand and meet the needs of our partners, please let us know why this request requires expedited production.})) Has anyone done anything like this? Is it even possible?

Hi all, Why do we typically create Header and Footer with Experience Fragments? Is there an advantage? My understanding is that Experience Fragments are to be created when we want the experience, not just data, so that even non AEM front ends could display it as it is. Appreciate all your responses. Thanks,RK.
Hi Folks,I’m facing an issue while upgrading our AEM environment from 6.5.21 to 6.5 LTS. As part of the upgrade, I updated the dependency in our pom.xml like below: <dependency><groupId>com.adobe.aem</groupId><artifactId>uber-jar</artifactId><version>6.6.0</version><classifier>apis</classifier><scope>provided</scope></dependency> However, during the build process, I’m encountering the following error:ZipException opening "uber-jar-6.6.0.jar": zip END header not foundUpon inspection, I noticed that the downloaded uber-jar-6.6.0.jar is only 2 KB in size, whereas the previous versions like 6.5.21 and 6.5.22 are around 62 MB and work without issues. This suggests that the 6.6.0 Uber Jar might be corrupted or incomplete in the public Maven repository. Could you please confirm if this is a known issue then can anyone provide a valid solution for this? If possible kindly provide detailed steps.
Description - It would be amazing if the LOG ID or Error Event ID and/or URL were added to the "Add Error Handler" modules. By defualt you only provide the fields "Type, Message, and Detail". Adding the LOG ID to the error would be immensely helpful. Why is this feature important to you - We use the Ignore module but still want to send private message like this - That works well, but we are then forced to search through hundreds of logs to find the right error log related to the event. If we could pass a URL to the log or an ID for the event (that we could use to create our own URL), it would be awesome and save so much time!! How would you like the feature to work - Add the URL of the log and/or the ID of the LOG related to the error that occurred and triggered the "Error handler"! Current Behaviour - it does not exist.
Does Target keeps separate profiles for different workspaces? Or not and profiles might be merged?Examply:1. Domain 1 - Workspace 1 - User 12. Domain 2 - Workspace 2 - User 1Would Target keep separate profile or it would be one profile?
We would like the Workfront Mobile App to allow the screen to be mobile-responsive and display all information in landscape mode. Some of our project names are long so it only displays some of first and last characters with an ellipsis in the middle when searching for projects. We are hoping landscape mode would fix that issue and make the app more user friendly.
Description - Please add the Workfront Project "securityAncestorsDisabled" field to the "Project Endpoint" in the public API!! It's shocking that this is not in the public api and part of the internal-only api. Why is this feature important to you - it would be good for us to have this type of information to better align data over fusion updates and also have the ability to better know which projects are intentionally isolated from permissions. Going through the internal API is harder. How would you like the feature to work - add the "securityAncestorsDisabled" field to the Project Endpoint in the "public api". Current Behaviour - the field "securityAncestorsDisabled" is only available in the private/internal-only api. Thank you,DD
As a RevOps professional, you may be struggling with SPAM form submissions, keyword matching on job titles to determine personas, or messy open-text fields that make it hard to extract insights from your data. These data categorization challenges hinder segmentation, personalization, and reporting, preventing your team from leveraging your data and making it difficult to send tailored content to your audience. This blog will show you how to use the Fine Tuning feature offered by OpenAI to train models on your custom data to boost the accuracy of SPAM filtering, automate persona classification, and intelligently categorize open text fields. Description - Do not allow time to be entered on a project or task before the Start Date (planned or actual) Why is this feature important to you - better compliance when it comes to entering time/timesheets and in the end give more accurate reporting. Currently our team is using Workfront for time/timesheets so it is important to be as accurate as possible. How would you like the feature to work - When a user goes to enter time on a project or task, the days before the start date of the object are greyed out, not allowing them to enter time in the past or before the object was created. Helpful if this could be an option in the Setup menu. Current Behavior - The user can enter time in the past for a project or task that was just created, giving inaccurate data on Timesheets and in reporting.
We are trying to use the native connector in PBI to report on our Adobe Analytics data. Unfortunately, any time we try and do anything remotely close to the type of reporting we need, it does not work. Either will take for-ev-er to even try and load the rows or will just error out. I've investigated with Adobe & MS and it seems it is the way the 2.0 API works that causes any worthwhile reporting (more than 1 dimension & 1 metric over a daily time period) hits the limits of the 2.0 API calls. https://developer.adobe.com/analytics-apis/docs/2.0/guides/faq/Even trying something simple like: - Daily data for a 6 month time period- Marketing Channel - broken down by Device Type - Visits- Orders- Revenue this should be a "simple" report, yet it hits the API limits and effectively renders PBI useless for us. Has anyone use PBI w/AA connector successfully?
When you go to log time on a task, the previous days are available to add time even if the project was just opened, I have checked the settings and don't see anything that relates to not allow this. Wondering if anyone knows of a setting/workaround to not let users log time on a project/task before the start date? Thanks!
When a user is deactivated, they should be removed everywhere. I keep finding little easter eggs of old users and can't even begin to find all the places they need to be removed. Examples, assignments on templates, sharing on projects created from templates, custom views sharing. The only thing that should remain, is a history of what they did. They should not still have views and such shared with them or newly created projects shared/assigned.

AEM Frontend Architecture Guide: Classic, JAMStack, or EDS? by @daniel-strmecki Introduction Choosing the right frontend architecture in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is no longer just a technical decision; it’s a strategic one. Whether you opt for a classic AEM server-side component approach with HTL, a modern JAMStack implementation with frameworks like React and Next.js, or Adobe's Edge Delivery Services (EDS), each choice impacts time-to-market, SEO, authoring experience, and scalability. This guide will help you align your frontend architecture with your business goals and future-proof your digital experiences. With AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), Adobe has shifted towards a more composable and scalable content delivery model. The frontend layer is now a critical part of the decision-making process, influencing authoring workflows, site performance, operations, and integration flexibility. Businesses should choose an architecture that aligns with their
Description Sorting for bucketed dimensions in CJA should default to logical sorting by the dimension's numerical value, rather than it's label. Buckets should be displayed more clearly (Less than 30, 30 to 59, 60 to 119, 120 or more) Why is this feature important to you Bucketed dimensions are intuitively understood when sorted in logical order by the value of the dimension. For example, shortest to longest time. It's confusing when two buckets are ambiguously defined and contain the same value (example: 30 to 60, 60 to 120). How would you like the feature to work Bucketed dimensions should default to logical sorting by the dimensions numerical value. At a minimum, users should have the option to sort by logical order. Example: If I have a bucketed dimension for time in seconds (Less than 30, 30-60, 60-120, 120 or more), I'd like the option to sort them logically as either: Less than 30, 30 to 60, 60 to 120, 120 or more, or &nb

To whom it may concern, When I clicked on the AEM installer, I received this error message:"It seems that your Adobe ID is not linked with your Adobe Experience Cloud solution accounts" I cannot download any of the AEM installers. Can you help me to solve this matter? Warm regards,Gisela
Hello everyone, I have recently run into an issue where I want to filter the pages that appear inside of a pathfield's selection dialog, to pages that have a specific resourceType (e.g. "products"). I have tried using a custom predicate to achieve this, but it does not seem to work (predicate gets registered as an OSGi service, but never fires). Could anybody shine some light on this? Is a predicate even the correct way of approaching this? I will attach the code bellow nonetheless. We are using AEM as a Cloud Service. Thanks in advance! Predicate: // Imports omitted @Component( service = Predicate.class, property = { "predicate.name=allowed-article-predicate" } ) public class AllowedArticlePredicate extends AbstractNodePredicate { private static final Logger log = LoggerFactory.getLogger(AllowedArticlePredicate.class); private static final String[] ALLOWED_RESOURCE_TYPES = { CommonConstants.NEWS_RESOURCE_TYPE, CommonConstants
I am currently working on a POC for Machine translation. In my local I couldn't setup as its asking for subscription key. So tried creating Translation Integration Config in lower cloud environment, and mapped it to my page (My Site - Language Master - Language Copy root page (English, Russian and Arabic) - in Page Properties Advance Tab Cloud Configuration path - It taking up /conf/mysite path but I tried to replace it with /conf/mysite/settings/cloudconfigs/translation after reading a blog. I have then created Translation Project and Jobs, Set translation rules by adding path of the project components(Page,Text, XF, Title) used in test page, inside the jobs added my pages, but when I start the translation Job its showing "Error Update" as status for page. For Tags Metadate its showed ready for review and showed accept translation option.I would like to what is missed? should I push conf related changes via code base and then check the flow, or any config or setup missed?

Hi,I was always puzzled by the way the mobile tracking is set up and wanted to verify this once and for all. Implmenting tracking in the app is straight forward with adobe .trackState for a page views and .action for events. Fair enough. However, everything is implemented in the code and I have no control over what is send to Adobe, unless I brief a developer to take something out of the app code. This is strange to me as the Adobe SDK contains a Launch container which is used to host the Analytics extension. You can setup Analytics tags but they are triggered by .trackState and .trackAction which send the data to Analytics anyway. So what is the point of creating Adobe Analytics tags in mobile tag manager? Ideally the tag manager would work like for the website and give me the capability to fetch structured data and decide what to send to Analytics, but it doesn't seem to be possible to do this? Best regardsUwe
The latest Adobe Cloud 6.5 has discontinued the classic UI interface for editors/authors. I would like to know if this can still be enabled because many users in our organization are comfortable and like the classic UI more than Touch UI. Most of our authors/editors feel touch UI is not user friendly. This is not something I get this report from users, they have been saying this for past 4 years.
