I noticed the new Functions area in Fusion and was intrigued. Although we don’t have a current use for the section, I can imagine that it can be extremely useful in the future.I’ll be honest: I’m a “refugee” from magazine publishing. I’ve got giant sucking-chest-wound-sized holes in my knowledge base. At this point, I’m trying to think through “unknown unknowns” when it comes to using such cool-looking new functionality. So, for people who didn’t yoke themselves to a dying industry for most of their careers, what are you most excited to do with this new functionality? And has Adobe considered a “cookbook” in the way that it has with Fusion?-j (wishing I had a degree in data science)
I'm opening up a discussion thread for the new functionality described here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/administration-and-setup/customize/custom-forms/design-a-form/display-skip-logic-form-designer (validation logic in custom forms) Please add questions/issues or discovered functionality below. If you're posting something that works please use the format: *use case *code *screenshot of expected result thanks for your participation!
If you build content-heavy AEM sites, you know the pain: designers live in Figma, content authors live in AEM, and someone is stuck manually copying text and assets between the two. This article walks through an n8n workflow that automates that pipeline end‑to‑end: from Figma designs to AEM Content Fragments, complete with uploaded assets and AI‑generated SEO tags.I built an n8n workflow that automates this pipeline end-to-end — from Figma designs straight into AEM Content Fragments, with DAM asset uploads and AI-generated SEO tags handled automatically. Thanks to everyone who joined today’s INCREDIBLY INSPIRING workshop, Rethinking Resource Management the Agile Way at Advisors Excel, to learn about Advisors Excel’s 3-year transformation from a manual, rigid resource management approach to an agile, queue-based system in Workfront. Lindsey Brown @lindselib , Creative Operations Product Manager, and Cathy Clifton, Project Coordinator Director, explained how shifting most work into shared queues, introducing structured backlogs, and redefining team roles improved flexibility, scalability, and visibility while reducing stress and bottlenecks. Highlights of the workshop included: They shifted 85% of work into shared backlog queues (“Friday” and “MARCO” queues) with automated prioritization using a custom priority score, improving flexibility and reducing bottlenecks. Key operational improvements included using queue blocks for capacity planning, standardized task durations (1 and 5 days) for accurate reporting, and increased autonomy

This would allow for conversations to continue and reviewers to quickly see the thread without having to flip back several versions or searching through the document updates
We have recently become aware that we are no longer able to create negative expenses. This has created a huge problems on our end with invoicing clients. We often have corporate card returns/refunds that, of course, come through as a negative number. If we’ve already invoiced a client by adding the original expense to a billing record, we have no way to now add a negative expense to a future billing record to reduce the next invoice for that client. And if we haven’t already invoiced the client, zero’ing out that expense creates an audit mis-alignment with our financial system. We also often have credits that come from suppliers related to an invoice that we’ve posted. Same as expenses, not being able to create a negative expense for supplier credits causes the same problems on this expense type.We were not made aware that this change was coming and it is causing errors in our Fusion automations that try to create a negative expense record in Workfront, in addition to the client invoicin

Background:Working with AEP and connected tools like CJA and AJO for a while now, one thing has become painfully obvious lately: the lack of a useful documentation of the client setup. There may be great yet unofficial community tools out there, but let's be honest, in many cases people using the system may not have the required setup like programming languages (Python or NodeJS) to generate the documentation for themselves, so might require a developer to support them. What I am trying to say is:The Adobe tools are powerful and highly complex to set up, and creating and maintaining client-specific documentation on that is cannot possibly be a manual task. This is surely not sustainable. What I would like to pitch is:We need a Documentation section built into the UI AEP and connected tools, that lets you generate an ad-hoc, standardized documentation as downloadable Excel workbook. This you can then either keep in AEP to be accessible for everyone with access, or decide to download and
