I am trying to write test cases using JUNIT4 for a class (AssemblerHelperService.java) with method (GetTotalPages) that accepts Assembler Service (com.adobe.fd.assembler.service.AssemblerService) instance and a PDF File (com.adobe.aemfd.docmanager.Document) as parameters.I created a separate Test class (AssemblerHelperServiceTest) with a method getTotalPages, created an instance of Assembler Service and then read a PDF file that i placed in resources folder of my project and then passed them both to the actual method that does the processing.when i run my test case, i always get Null Pointer exception for the Assembler Service object that i created within my test class, so the same gets passed to the actual method and eventually throws same Null Pointer Exception. Any Help would be much appreciatedI was thinking I might need to have a running local AEM server to retrieve the Assembler Service but did not find a way to do itjava.lang.NullPointerException at pdfgenerator.core.s

We're back with another installment of the Marketo Success Series! In this series, we partner with Marketo Champions and Champion Alumni to fully explore how some of our most celebrated Marketo experts are using Marketo to drive success. In this edition, Marketo Champion Alumni @rachel2-2 and @erikhe1 teamed up to share all of their tips and tricks for leveraging Engagement Programs to their fullest potential. When you meet someone new, you don’t start the conversation by pouring out your entire life story. In the beginning, you build trust, find common interests, and if you’re lucky, share a few laughs.Similarly, a good nurture strategy starts with warming up the brand-prospect relationship. Start by establishing trust with your brand. Build awareness and establish yourself as a thought leader in the space. Next, relate to prospects on a personal level by connecting on pain points and common goals. At this point, the relationship is established. Now you

If you’re preparing to take a Marketo Engage certification test, you may be wondering what it’s like to take it remotely from your own home. I’ve compiled advice that I’ve gotten from other Marketo Engage Champions as well as my own experience taking the Adobe Certified Expert-Marketo Engage Business Practitioner (formerly Marketo Certified Expert) exam last year. I hope this helps set you up for success in your journey becoming Marketo Engage certified! PSI vs Examity There are two companies that provide remote administration of Marketo exams: PSI and Examity. PSI uses their own software to administer the exam. You can’t download or test your connection ahead of time, which can cause delays when you are ready to take your exam. Examity uses remote meeting software to proctor the exam (which you probably already have installed on your computer). This means you can test ahead of time and jump right into the exam when you log in. I used Examity for my exam last year,
Demystifying Oak Search Part 4: Included / Query Paths by Daniel Klco Abstract One of the common mistakes I've seen in customizing Oak Lucene Indexes is with the included/query paths feature. To understand why this is a common area for mistakes and what impact this has, you have to understand what the includedPaths and queryPaths configurations do. When executing an Oak query, you can supply constraints in the form of node types, property values or paths. As discussed previously, to write a fast query, you must narrowly constrain the set of nodes your your query may apply to. Therefore, it’s best to always use a path constraint so only a portion of the JCR needs to be included. This is especially important of you need to run a query against a generic node type such as nt:base or nt:hierarchyNode as constraining to a specific path can eliminate thousands of nodes that would otherwise need to be evaluated. How Path Restrictions Work in Oak Indexes If you set the property evaluatePat
Our AEM instance talks to a lot of other systems in terms of export & import of data/assets. Often these export/import is done in Bulk, thus there is enough room for mistakes/exceptions. Requesting for suggestions what options your might have explored to ease: Effort from business to validate data Effort from AEM tech team to troubleshoot from logs If we drop emails for each exception, slowly people may start treating it like SPAM and ignore it. AEM Inbox isn't very user-friendly either. So, looking for other options

A/B testing is a powerful technique to optimize various aspects of your e-commerce site. Making tweaks to each iteration of an A/B test can result in millions of dollars of revenue for your organization. Consider implementing the following tweaks in your A/B tests, focusing on badges and their placement on your site pages:Badges on Category vs. PDP Pages:Test whether adding badges (e.g., “Best Seller,” “New Arrival,” “Limited Stock”) impacts user engagement and conversions more substantially on category pages or on product detail pages (PDPs). For instance, one hypothesis for the difference in these tests may be that badges on category pages may encourage exploration, while PDP badges can influence purchase decisions.Multiple Types of Badges:Test different badge types simultaneously:Most Popular: Highlight top-selling products to increase desirability.Ships Free: Emphasize free shipping to make the deal more appealing to customers.Almost Gone: Create urgency to drive qui

In AEM 6.5 publisher instance, stdout.log file has millions on entries "RHINO Usage" as below. In general it means any value that are coming from Java object is directly use in JavaScript. But, here my question is, how to identify the code in our repository that is causing this issue? there is no hint or linenumber, class name, function name from where this is getting fired. Any suggestion or input will be highly appreciated. Thank you! One thing I have noticed when creating a more complicated nurture in Marketo, you have to be creative to make things work the way you want them to and the great part about Marketo is that you have a whole arsenal of features available. This hack works with a lot of use cases, but the specific way I got to making it was when a client wanted a specific nurture for free trials for licenses from their website that would be sending on specific days of the trial.I've seen a lot of questions about variable cadence on the community. I was overjoyed seeing Marketo's announcement of this feature (screenshot above from summit slides) on the Summit this year. There is still some time remaining until that so I figured I will share this method. This has been tested for a few months and is proven to work given the right setup.I will also share some learnings from setting up this a few different ways which I would strongly not recommend .Example of 30 day product trial nurture with fixed days for sendo

Hi All,We are creating forms using Adaptive Form Core Components and there is a use case in which we need to submit Form Data to a Backend API which saves form data in CRM along and also store form data in Sharepoint as a backup mechanism. To cater to this scenario, we are writing our own custom submit action. Is there is a mechanism by which we can utilise OOB Submit form action that submits form data to SharePoint within our custom submit Action? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Mohit
