Campaign Classic v7 & Campaign v8

Hello,  We are wondering why Adobe Campaign Classic adds extra fields when querying the database, and whether we can change this behaviour?  In a typology rule, we search the nmsDelivery table for specific rows by selecting the relevant expressions, operators and values (joined with nmsOperation). The query box allows us to view the “Corresponding SQL query”. In the query we see, there is no mention of selecting mData, yet when Adobe Campaign Classic queries the database whilst this typology rule is applied, it retrieves the mData information for the nmsDelivery table, which increases the load on the database and, with concurrent processes, can cause errors.  Hence my question: why does Adobe Campaign Classic use this additional field? Is it possible to change this behaviour to reduce the load on the database?  Kind regards,

We have recently upgraded ACC to 9391, but facing issues disabling the IMS.Everything works except the SMS delivery status with error message- XSV-350033 IMS authentication is not configured (iRc=-69)I am looking at serverConf file and there are some additions found when compared prior to upgrade:mainly around <ims allowedIMSServiceClientId="campaign_io" authIMSClientId="" authIMSClientSecret=""       authIMSCode="" authIMSEndpoint="https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com" authIMSTAAPI="/ims/token/v3"       authIMSTAClientId="" authIMSTAClientSecret="" authIMSTAId="" authIMSTAPrivateKey=""       durationLogThresholdMS="5000" isOAuthS2S="0" logIMSCallsNumber="true">some more    <imsConfig campaignioUrlForImsLogin="">Error:Timestamp: 2026-xx-xx14:50:44Correlation ID: xxxxxxxEndpoint: https://xxxremovingmainurl.se/nl/jsp/soaprouter.jspOperation: xtk:persist#WriteCollectionResponse: XSV-350033 IMS authentication is not configuredHTTP status: 403I would need to understand, if anyone expe

@ParthaSarathy ,kindly help with below requirement in adobe campaign,The campaign needs to be executed twice a month (during the 1st and 3rd weeks) using one email template, and twice a month (during the 2nd and 4th weeks) using a different email template. Additionally, one template should be executed once every month during the 2nd week.

What is the best way to retrieve the list contents and the list metadata (list label, internal name, type etc.) via a workflow? I know we can query both individually - nms:group has the list metadata and wen can simply do a Read List to read the list contents. How to append the List metadata to the contents - without manually adding a join key? For instance, if I am reading 5 lists, I don’t want to manually enter a segment code or introduce a manual join key.

Good day folks, I am trying to trigger a journey where the payload will be sent from AJO to ACC for real-time push notification for android and ios, my question is in the current setup, I don’t see any registration token field that can be sent into aec, I am wondering how to proceed, The registration token is present in campagin and linked to the userID, this userId is also sent over on the payload too, so can I script a lookup and match and send functionality and link it up with the template, I was unable to find an example on the docsSo what I want to achieve is that I want user the userID from the event and then use that to fetch the registration token from ACC and then trigger the push notification from the message template is this feasible, any relevant docs for the same? Thanks in advance for the help

Hi Team,Is it possible to use dynamic values (like workflow variables) in a Wait activity? My goal is to schedule different wait durations based on weekdays, instead of hardcoding them. Here’s the approach I tried: In the first Scheduler, I calculated the wait time and stored it in a numeric variable. In the second Wait activity, I attempted to reference that variable in the Advanced script tab. Unfortunately, it didn’t work as expected. Could you please suggest the right approach?

Hi everyone,We are using Adobe Campaign Classic 7.4.2 and in a workflow’s Content Management activity, we select Explicit and open the Content selection dialog. The dialog’s default search field is “Name contains”, which searches the content’s internal name (@name). Our users identify content by its Label (@label), rather than its automatically generated internal name. We would therefore like the default search field to be “Label contains”. Is there a supported way to configure this selector to search by Label instead of Name? The relevant input in the xtk:workflow input form is:<input img="ncm:content.png" xpath="content"/>I tested adding filterEditField="@label": <input filterEditField="@label" img="ncm:content.png" xpath="content"/> but the selection dialog still displays “Name contains”.For context: The target schema is ncm:content. Its compute string is already <compute-string expr="@label"/>. The ncm:core navigation hierarchy defines the content list under ncmChan

Hi, I am creating a custom workflow which extracts texts from workflow XML and returns a list of schemas used in each workflow. The issue I am running into is that some workflows have many schemas, and the default text datatype has a 255 character limit. I’m looking for guidance on how I can add an output column to a query, enrichment, or javascript activity for long text datatype to get around the 255 character limit. Thank you,Skyler

In a workflow I set a variable, e.g. vars.contentId, in a Content Management activity. In a typology rule (JavaScript) I need this value, but vars.contentId is not available there.Questions:Can a typology rule access vars.xxx from the workflow if that value is not stored on the delivery (i.e. not mapped to a delivery attribute)? If not, is it possible to add a script field on the delivery Advanced tab that would be able to read vars.xxx, or do scripts there also run only in the delivery context (no vars)? What is the recommended way to pass a workflow variable into a typology rule?

Hello,We would like to implement a typology rule so that transactional emails can only be sent to certain domains. We have added a "filtering" typology rule to the Transactional Message typology in several different targeting dimensions (rtEvent, address, recipient) but it does not appear to be working. Does this need to be done on the RT instance? We are looking for guidance on how to achieve this filter. Thanks,Skyler

I am changing the snowflake login from password to key-pair. I am following the steps in the user documentation  and approved steps by a ticket opened with Adobe support.I created a key pair. The DBA created a new user and added the public key to the user. In the Adobe UI External Account I removed the password and added the new user and added the private key to the Keypair Auth tab. I am getting the error password not found.  Here’s what I have tried: Added a dummy password - same errorCreated a new external account and add the needed information, user, private key - same error

Hi, We currently have problem to install large package through SOAP call which contains our custom schema definitions - currently XML package definition is a little bit bigger than 1.2 MB. In logs we can find messages likeSRV-810019 The server process 'web@default' (pid=xxxxx) has unexpectedly crashed. It will be restarted. (iRc=-53) when package was a little bit larger than 1MB then we had no such problems  Any advice ? Thanks in advance

Hello,We are using targetData fields added in a workflow transition, as described in the Adobe documentation.Use workflow data | Adobe CampaignThe delivery is configured with:Recipients: Specified by the inbound event(s)Action: PrepareThe fields are available in the transition and work during personalization, for example:<%= targetData.nombreProducto %><%= targetData.importe %>However, when we open the delivery Preview and select a specific recipient, recipient fields are displayed correctly, but targetData values return undefined. Is it possible to preview the real targetData values associated with a specific recipient before sending the delivery? Is any additional configuration required in the delivery form or preview?Thank you.

Hi,I’m trying to retrieve campaign workflow details from Adobe Campaign Classic through the API. Specifically, I want to fetch information about the activities within a workflow and the conditions applied in those activities.I attempted using fields from the workflow schema (including the memo field), but I encountered errors and no data was returned. Could you help me understand where these activity and condition details can be accessed through the API?Thanks,Ankita

Hi team,I'm using Adobe Campaign Classic v8 with a File Transfer activity to download files from an Amazon S3 bucket. My S3 bucket contains multiple files with the same prefix, for example:Automation_1225950_20260717_1514.csvAutomation_1226051_20260717_1514.csvIn the File Transfer activity, I'm using the following path:adobe-incoming/Service_Automation_The workflow is:Scheduler → File Transfer → Data Loading However, the File Transfer activity only downloads/processes one file, even though multiple files match the prefix. My questions are:Is this expected behavior in ACC v8 for Amazon S3? Is there a way to process all matching files in a single workflow execution? If not, what is the recommended approach to load multiple files from S3 into ACC?Any guidance or best practices would be appreciated.Thank you!
